"Hello. Uh, I was bullied IRL because I was Bise.xual. It continued for a month until the end of the school year, now i have to go back in a few weeks and I'm scared. What should I do?
cont: We also talked to the principal, and the bullying continued, it happened almost everyday, and I cried a lot. I'm just scared to go back to school."

Twigsy, ignore the haters. You're a cool person, I should know. They just don't realize how fabulous you are and my advice: don't be scared. You will have people by your side the whole way.

People are often uncomfortable with or even fear what they don't understand, so they may take that out on you simply for being different. So, remember, that's an issue they need to learn to overcome and says things about them and not you. Try not to let the negativity of others bring you down. You are special and deserve respect even when you don't get it. In fact, sometimes simply realizing that the bullies are desperate because they are confused or insecure makes their actions affect you less and actually takes some power from them. After all, only you can live your life.
Bullies prey on weakness, so you're not the only one. Look around and you'll find many people who are also bullied. Consider trying to make friends with some of them so you will be stronger together. Knowing what bullying feels like means you have an understanding that some may not have and that can be a strength and inspire you to help others. When you unite with friends, you all strengthen each other together.

Lastly, being afraid in this situation is natural. Anyone would be! But develop a plan and imagine scenarios in your mind. How will you react? What will you look for in the bullies to see they're defensive because they're insecure inside? Where will you look for other bullying victims? How can you build friendships? These thoughts can help combat the fear because a lot of fear is calmed by preparation. For example, if there's a natural disaster and you have prepared for what to do and imagined it, you won't be as paniced as others and can even help those who weren't prepared.
