Nice design! But, I think it has a bit of a strong resemblance to the Shield of Seals. Actually, what IS the Fire Emblem's story in Anerjica?

It is resemblant of the Shield of Seals, yes, but I thought to put it on a sheath, so I may just integrate it into a singular sheath that is the Fire Emblem, without the shieldy part. We are working on a story for it.

I dunno what any other fire emblems look like. I only beat Awakening and Blazing Sword, and the later never physically showed it to me as I recall.

I have a few concerns for the FT, whenever you all get the chance.

Right, sorry I'm late. There's 2 I have presently; 1, Mikai, the Avian from @Awesomeboy. I think it's a violation of the #febiCoc. It isn't human, even though he says it is.

And 2, is there going to be a contest soon? Ace proposed one before. Time Paladin just suggested an idea to me today for another

I was wondering if anybody was going to bring that up! I just checked the C.O.C. and, whereas it is advised that you keep your species to the F.E. standard, it is not actually required to stick to only humans and halfbreeds. Although I must admit that having an ogre running around a Fire Emblem-based world would reduce the authenticity of the experience significantly.

What really pushes my buttons is that he claims it to be human when it is clearly not. I mean, I could understand if it was a guy like Gonzales (for those of you who don't know, Gonzales was a playable unit in F.E. 6 with a distorted face and low intellect, which almost fits this guy, but the big difference is that Gonzales was clearly human.) but this thing is clearly inhuman.
I almost think that it was either a complete joke or an attempt to see exactly how much you can get away with in F.E.B.I.

While you technically can't argue with him, you could bring it up to him and then go into the C.O.C. and change the rules so that only species that appear in Fire Emblem and are readily playable (meaning available to the player without needing hacks or third-party software) are useable, or you could change first then bring it up. Either way, you'll need to adjust the rules before any legal action can be taken.

My thoughts, anyway. How 'bout the rest of the team?

Oh yeah, contest.
It should be a map drawing competition; best one becomes Anerjica. Even if we don't do a contest like that, we should still draw out Anerjica, because I keep forgetting that Avia is mountainous and have no idea where anything is except for Unity Tower, which connects all the countries somewhere in the middle of the continent, I guess.

I've had a sketch of Anerjica already. I shared it with Ace and I believe Amby on Miiverse before. Like my desc here, I put Avia north, but Valon and Xalys were both West, one northern and the other southern, but neighboring, Palmalia was East, and Atrus south of Palmalia. Unity Tower smack in the middle.

I cant exactly just change it first, it's dishonorable. But as the leaders, we do have the right, if we all agree, to change the rules at any time, and then ask that others follow them. But I wont change it first to sneak it in as if it was there before.

But I agree it is not human. Could have BEEN human, but not anymore, which is against the CoC imo.

Now to wait for Ace, Inky and Amby since they are my 3 equals here.

On the topic of countries, do the countries occupy all of the continent, or are there segments of unclaimed territory around, because if there weren't that'd make Avia and Atrus rather huge.
Also, I'll likely be gone almost all day tomorrow, so I won't be able to respond to any more situations until late tomorrow or Saturday.

Well I believe Avia is North, since we's kinda written that i to the RP iirc. I believe you wanted Xalys to be kinda California-like in environent, and since Anerjica is a parody (but not a carbon copy) of America, I thought Xalys being around where Cali is in America would fit. I want Valon to be Western, and also a neighbor to Xalys, so that's 3 done and all that's left is Palmalia and Atrus.

Valon could be between Xalys and Avia, being somewhat in the middle or something.

Take Xalys being the Western most 3-5 states of America, Avia like the northern half of America, Valon being the states between California and Texas, and Palmalia could be the North Eastern and New England, and Atrus the South-Eastern rest, or switch Palmalia and Atrus.

There can be empty deserts, mountains and forests between each kingdom

But seriously Mikai is supposed to look like a monster. It's like that so the whole gentle giant thing is more effective.
Take that away and he's practically a benny ripoff.
Besides look at Blanka from Street Fighter. He looks very inhuman but he's human. Or some fe examples, Vadidar looks weird, more like a cartoon than
a normal human and Garon has grey skin.
I did NOT violate the CoC because he IS human, no matter what you say. He's MY character and so he is what I want him to be.
Infact, he wasn't originally human but I changed that to fit the CoC.
And finally, it's an rp on colors, not an actual game. Infact, the actual games have more creative freedom.

Okay Gills, is there any reason that he can't keep the face and hair? If there is, let me know and I'll try and work it out with him, otherwise I'll give him the green light for take two.

AwesomeBoy, I wasn't disrespecting you, if anything, I was being as understanding as I could in my position. What you may not realize is that we took a lot of time and effort to create an authentic FE experience for all of Colors to enjoy. If we allowed characters that looked like creatures more familiar in say, The Lord of The Rings, into FEBI, it would detract from the authenticity of the FE world we took the last year to create. Now, if you read back, I respectfully said I would not be dishonorable as to rewrite the CoC in our favor, so to say I was disrespecting you, is kind of contrary.

To argue that your character, Mikai, in it's original design, is fit for the group and passes the CoC, when it's makeup was not suitable for the "stick to the common Fire Emblem standard, regarding classes, species, weapons and their use, etc." section, is in my eyes, disrespectful to our work in keeping this group authentic.

So I, and I believe the whole of the Forever Team, would appreciate if you could that make him more human, and thus fitting into the world of FEBI. I never meant offense, but I must be true to the rules set forth as a creator and founder of this group.
