So, who else are we waiting on? Shadow told me she might be late, and I don't know if Turtle's still in Italy or what.

I don't know if Turtlee's coming or not. I guess we're still waiting for Fade too?

@Radiant Yeah. Should we keep waiting, or just go ahead and start?

(Lilly) We could start with Ivy, Maldius and Casta, since as all three of us here. But if you'd rather wait for the others, I'm OK with that.

Ivy forced herself to fly faster despite the burning pain in her wing muscles. 'Casta!' He was close now, she could feel it... but where WAS he? As much as she gazed around, she could see no trace of the skinny white dragon or whoever had supposedly kidnapped him. Yet she could still hear his terrified screaming not too far ahead. 'Casta, where on earth are you?'

Halting his flight, Maldius turns mid-air to look in Ivy's direction. He says nothing, but uses his illusion magic to prevent Ivy from hearing Casta's pleas.

{The bird draugr sees all of this an continues to watch from a distance.}

Ivy swung her head from side-to-side, frustrated. She could no longer hear anything from Casta, nor could she see him, and she wondered for a horrible moment if his captor had decided to kill him. Then she clenched her jaws and pressed onwards, ignoring exhaustion. Suddenly a blast of wind hit her in the face and she flapped higher to avoid it. //Wait... was that the wind from a dragon's wings?// Now smirking, she started to descend towards the spot where she thought the invisible dragon was.

Maldius quickly flies back a good ways, putting distance between himself and Ivy, before grinning at Casta. "You care about her, don't you? You think she can save you?" he asks, again using his magic to ensure Ivy cannot hear him.

(Hi! I can't RP at the moment, but if it still going later I can make it tonight )

Ivy felt the slight rush of air and attempted to follow Maldius, but being unable to see or hear him made it nearly impossible. In frustration she yelled, 'How pathetic are you?! Hiding from a dragon like me?'

Maldius growls quietly at Ivy's remark, but then grins. "I'll take that as a 'no,' in which case, you can enjoy watching her die." Mystic lightning crackling around his claws, Maldius picks up speed and charges toward Ivy, tearing at Ivy's wings with his electrified claws.

Scratch smiled to himself, watching the whole fight through Casta's eyes. He grinned gleefully, before jumping around with joy. "Maldius is sending two more friends over to torture!" He said to Blackice, but the dragon seemed to not to care.

Hearing the dragon speeding towards her, Ivy tried to slip aside, but her heavy body couldn't move fast enough. She screamed as Maldius' claws ripped huge gashes in her wings, and instinctively lashed out with her tail, embedding the tip of a poisoned spike in his shoulder.

(Maldius: AAHHHHHHH NOT THIS AGAIN!!)

Maldius shrugs off the initial pain of the spike , using his telekinesis to violently rip Ivy's tail out of his shoulder. With a powerful flap of his wings and control over the wind, he throws her downward, following up with an electrical burst from his mouth.

(Ardens and Ivy: Huehuehuehue)

Ivy unthinkingly threw up a torn wing to protect her head from the electrical surge, which struck her heavily and scorched half her wingsail. The shock of the attack coupled with Maldius' powerful throw sent her tumbling helplessly towards the ground.

Scratch snarled as Casta's screaming sent painful pulses through his brain. He grumpily retreated from reading Casta's mind. "I hope he finishes this fight soon, I'm bored."

(So, it turns out the thing I was going to was cancelled, so now I'll have all day for the RP :p )

Letting his illusion magic dispel on both himself and Casta, Maldius watches Ivy fall, laughing wickedly at his triumph.

Meanwhile at the Castle, Macgyver tried for hours and hours to find a way to walk properly. He used sticks, metal rods, and almost anything to prop himself up, but everything broke under the pressure.

(Turtle, is Mac still in the infimary? If not, I can have Sherry meet up with him again, since Ardens isn't around right now :p )

Still falling, Ivy caught a glimpse of the purple dragon as he flickered into existence. It was Maldius... it had to be... //And he has Casta,// she realised, seeing the white dragon staring down at her with a petrified look on his face. //Is... is he crying?// Feeling a new surge of determination, she forced her ruined wings to snap outwards and catch the air thermals, halting her rapid descent. Then, snarling hatefully, she began to rise upwards to attack Maldius.

(Yeah, that would be great! I think he is in his room now- @Lilly)

Macgyver roared in frustration at this, causing one of his pillows to catch on fire again. "Ah! No No No--- Ergghhhh...." Her beat out the flames with his tail. Mac felt too uncomfortable to ask one of the nurses for a cast or brace of some sort, because they might question how he lost his leg.

"See how powerless you are to save her, Casta? If only you had your wings!" Maldius laughs, then, noticing Ivy's approach, he breathes a mystic, bright purple fireball down at her, expecting to finish her off quickly.

'Leave him alone, you hideous creature!' Ivy snapped, performing a quick barrel-roll to evade the fireball. The action hurt her damaged wings more, but her fear for Casta outweighed pain. Before Maldius had a chance to disappear again, she grabbed him by the neck and rammed her tail spike into his side as viciously as she could. Her grip tightened, not wanting to be thrown off again.

(D'aaaw, poor Casta.)

( @Turtle Alright, it's Sherry time!)

Sherry, Chrysos' little bundle of sunshine, wanders through the halls of the castle, skipping happily. "Doo doo doo! Doo doo do dooo! Oooh, I wonder what's in thiiiiis roooooom!" she declares, bouncing into Mac's room. "Oh, it's you! Hiiyyaaa Mister Mac!"

Scratch let out another shreik as Ivy rammed poison into Maldius' side, as his pain sent shockwaves into Scratch's mind. He snarled as his head rung. "Maldius, what are you doing? Kill them already! Or bring them to me and I can kill them!" He snarled out loud, despite the fact that the dark dragon couldn't hear him.

(Cuteness levels are over 9000!)

Macgyver jumped in suprise, and turned to see Sherry. "O-oh! Why isn't it the fluffy Aqualam visitor!" He smiled, trying to make it seem like beating a pillow that is on fire is a normal thing.

Maldius growls, then roars, getting fed up with this disgusting dragon. Using Ivy's close proximity to his advantage, the dark exile tears his claws into Ivy's side, which, after piercing her scaly hide, burst into flames.

Sherry smiles, but notices Mac's pillow and gasps. "Mister Mac, your pillow's on fire!" she shouts, as if he didn't know that already.

Ivy shrieked with pain but stubbornly kept her grip on Maldius' neck, weakly digging her poisonous claws into his flesh. 'Casta, you most certainly worth it!' she hissed. 'Whatever happens I know you're worth it!' She let out a groan as the wounds in her side poured blood. The smell of burnt flesh in the air was almost overpowering.

"W-what? Noo---- This is a- um- this Is a candle! Why would a pillow be on fire?" Macgyver lied. But as he said this, another one burst into flames.

Lightning crackles around the dark dragon briefly, but then an idea appears in his mind. Maldius turns Casta invisible again, silencing him as well, and using both his ice magic and illusion magic, he creates an identical copy of Casta out of ice, without any indication of its falsity. "If you care for him that much... then here, take him!" Maldius growls, letting the false-Casta plummet.

Sherry thoughtfully pauses a moment. "Mister Mac, why are you setting your pillows on fire? Don't you use them?"

Ivy instantly folded her wings and dived at full speed. However, before she was able to grab what she believed was Casta, her injured wings gave out beneath her. With a startled screech, she plummeted down and smashed into the ground with bone-cracking force, her body carving a long trench in the earth before she came to a halt.
'Casta!' she shouted, struggling to stagger to her feet and look around. There was no sign of him anywhere. Then she spotted some pieces of broken ice on the ground nearby and crawled over to examine them. //He'd never give Casta up so easily...// she thought. //What I saw must have been an illusion!// She realised that she'd been tricked and Maldius was probably already flying away by now. Throwing her head up, she let out a deafening scream of rage and frustration.

Macgyver grabs the flaming pillows, proceeding to drop kick them out of the open window. He looses his balance and falls over. Mac sighed "Yes, I use them... And you could say I'm just to hot to handle!" He laughed at his pathetic joke.

Seeing his plan work, Maldius breathes out a large fireball down at Ivy, which explodes into a burning, acidic slime. Not wanting to hang around any longer, the dark dragon quickly resumes flying with the real Casta to the Frozen Waste. After a moment, Maldius flinches, nearly losing his balance and almost dropping Casta, but he quickly rights himself, now putting Casta on his back to carry him instead of using telekinesis. "Not this... again..." he groans, flying as rapidly as he possibly can toward his frozen domain.

Sherry laughs, bouncing over to Mac and trying to help him up. "That's ok! Do you need me to make you some more pillows?"

Ivy threw herself away from the site of the explosion, flinching as a bit of acidic slime splashed onto her foot. She clawed it off and turned to gaze up at the sky, sighing heavily and mentally debating over what to do next. 'I suppose I only have one option,' she said wistfully. 'Nobody else would care to help an outcast like Casta... I'm alone.' She shivered slightly, then resolutely took to the air once again, flying slowly in the direction she guessed Maldius had headed. She might not be able to catch up with him, but she figured she wouldn't lose anything by sticking on the dark dragon's trail.

Macgyver smiles as she helps her up. "T-that would be great!"

Scratch paces around in a circle inside Maldius' domain, waiting for the dark dragon to return.

Maldius doesn't bother speaking to or mocking Casta anymore, and as he flies, he becomes weaker and weaker. He starts shivering and twitching, growling in pain as drops of sweat drip off his body, and it almost would seem like he's forcing his wings to keep moving. Maldius can't even focus enough to use the weakest of illusion magics. By the time his menacing fortress is in sight, the poison's effects have intensified, and the demonic dragon crashes into the ice and snow a distance in front of his stronghold.

Ivy flew aimlessly for a while, saving her energy and wondering how she was going to find Maldius again. //I know that he was disguised as an ice dragon called Yssarion,// she thought. //Hmm... ice... ice?... the Frozen Wastes?...// She shook her head, certain she was wrong. She had no evidence that Maldius' lair was in that horrible place... but what if it was, and he'd taken Casta there? //I have to find out...// Struggling through her exhaustion, blood loss and pain, Ivy angled towards the distant wastes and set off. With her injuries it would take a while before it came into sight...

Scratch roars at the sudden impulse of pain from a nearby dragon. He recognizes it as Maldius. "Master!" Scratch takes no time to look for Blackice. He runs out in the snow with great difficulty, looking around for the source of the pulsing mind. He runs toward Maldius. "What's w- SHE POISONED YOU!"

(RIP Maldius)

Sherry squeaks happily. "I've never made a pillow before! This'll be fun!" She makes certain that Mac is stable on his own before taking several blankets and sewing items out of her bag. Looking to Macgyver's other pillows as a reference, she begins working, sewing two blankets by the ends, stuffing that full of more of her blankets, and then sewing it shut.

Maldius struggles to raise his front half out of the ice, his arms threatening to give out again. He takes deep, gasping breaths, as if the air itself were trying to choke him. //"SCRAAAA-"// he tries screaming, but is cut short when he starts vomitting violently.

(Ivy: And you thought //I'd// just crawled out of a fresh pile of vomit. D:<)

(Maldius: That's not funny, you venomous witch!)

"You are very talented!" Mac admires as she makes the pillows. "Your parents must be proud. Hey- Why didn't they accompany you here? Or is the blacksmith your mother?"

Scratch stares down in horror. Remembering the little white dragon had accompanied the dragon who poisoned Maldius, he whipped around to chase him.
"TELL ME HOW TO FIX THIS OR I'LL KILL YOU AND EVERYONE YOU LOVE" He screamed to Casta's as he chased him.

(Maldius: *cheering* Go get 'em, Scratch! I'm just gonna... lay here in the snow... for a couple hours...)

(Can't Casta ever get a break)

Still flying at below average speed, Ivy spotted the strip of white up ahead that was the distant Frozen Plains. //Not... much... further...// she thought sluggishly. She had no idea what she was going to do when she finally got there. But if Casta WAS here, she was sure as helI going to rescue him.

Sherry proudly offers Macgyver the finished pillow, a big smile on her face. "Here you go! And Adrianne? She's not my mom! She just looks after me." Again, just like when she was explaining to Ardens the same topic, Sherry loses her enthusiasm and looks down at the ground, her large ears drooping. "I actually haven't seen my mom or dad in years now..."

(CASTA CAN NEVER >:}D )

Scratch roared, the tying with all of his might to catch up with him. Despite the fact both dragons were wingless, Casta was faster than Scratch. He watched as Casta landed in the snow, grinning derangedly. He was so focused on Casta, he didn't hear the mind of Ivy getting closer and closer.

Maldius' arms give out beneath him, and he hardly even noticed Scratch. He weakly tries dragging himself to his fortress, but after a few feet of crawling, his strength gives out entirely. Lying in the snow, Maldius growls furiously. //I will not die. I CANNOT die. I will not let myself die..!!// he thinks to himself, repeating these thoughts over and over again in his mind.

Ivy redoubled her speed as the snowy plains appeared some eighty feet below her. Her wings stretched out, no longer flapping repeatedly. 'Tired...' she mumbled to herself. Just then, she heard the sound of footsteps in the soft snow and craned her neck around to see two dragons running across the wastes, one chasing the other - the dragon in the lead was so white he was almost camoflauged against the ice, only the huge scars on his shoulders visible. Ivy blinked, suddenly wide awake.
'CASTA!' she bellowed, swooping down and landing in front of the unknown dragon, blocking his path.

"Oh..." It hurt Mac to see the little dragon sad. Macgyver never, ever spoke of his parents to virtually anyone, but now he felt compelled to. "I haven't either..." He said, putting a wing around her. "My parents never loved me. But if yours didn't, then they are crazy. I say Adrianne is lucky, getting to take care of a bundle of joy like you. I am impressed, you can stay so happy no matter what... I wish I was like you." He took the pillow, holding it with care as if it was a baby.

Sherry looks up at Macgyver, tears forming in her eyes. "But why would your parents not love you? You're really nice, Mac! You're a really great dragon!"

Scratch snarled with pure rage. He was just as big as Ivy, except not as muscular. "You two are not going anywhere.... And there is nothing you can do to escape....." He hissed.

Black smoke rolled from Ivy's nostrils as she snarled with hatred and slowly advanced upon Scratch. 'You can talk all you want, but the white dragon and I ARE getting out of here.' She lashed her tail, showing the sharp spikes that had poisoned Maldius. 'Come on, tough guy - fight me if you can!' She cackled manically.

Macgyver struggled to hold in his own tears. "It's because of what I can do...." He said quietly. "I'm a monster, sherry.... People are scared of me...."

"Oh yesss I can..." Scratch smiled. And as fast as a bullet, he punched her across the face, a human move. He darted behind her, and kicked her into the snow. He circled her. "Let's see what moves you've got, pretty girl...." He.hissed.

The little dragonet hugs Macgyver tightly, sobbing on his shoulder. "No, don't say that! You're not a monster... you're just not! You're my friend, Mister Mac..." Sherry cries.

Ivy hissed slightly from the punch, but it was nothing compared to when Maldius had attacked her. She grinned nastily and Scratch, being sure to keep her eyes on him at all times. 'Ooh, so the little boy thinks he can fight?' she purred. In a move almost as quick as his, she swung her spiked tail around to stab into his shoulder.

Macgyver stared at the wall, his eyes glassy. "If I wasn't a monster, then my Mother would have still been alive, and my brothers and sisters would of had a chance to grow up and live their lives." He hugged Sherry for comfort.

(I'm loving the action in this RP session so far! I don't have anything to do atm and might need to leave soon, so I'll just watch.)

"I don't understand... how is that your fault?" Sherry asks, still hugging Mac, her face buried in his shoulder.

(Maldius: @Fade While you're at it, could you call a medic for me? Doctor, mad scientist, anything...?)

"Hmmm... Such a shame I have to beat up a beautiful face like yours.... Oh well, It won't be missed." He could hear Ivy's thoughts and predicted that she would swing. He ducked backwards to avoid the spikes, but on scraped slightly along his shoulder. He grunted, before tackling her, attempting to avoid her sharp spines. Scratch was so focused on Ivy, he was surprised by Casta jumping on him. Scratch yelped as Casta ripped at his burn scars.

( @Lilly: Maelstrom: *pulls out syringe with strange liquid inside* I'm a doctor... >:3)

(Blackice "MASTER!! Do you need a spoonful of sugar ?!")

Ivy scrambled backwards from Scratch as Casta suddenly leapt out of nowhere, clawing at the other dragon's back. 'Casta, be careful!' she said warningly, taking advantage of Scratch's distraction to lunge forwards and close her jaws around his neck, pinning him to the ground.

(I still can't really RP I hope to be home in 2 hours :p)

(Maldius: @Maelstrom ... What's that in the syringe? o-o )

(Maldius: @BlackIce YES, AND I NEED IT RIGHT NOW!

Hmm, alright, @Shadow :p )

"I killed them Sherry..." Macgyver whispered. "It was an accident, I didn't mean to..." He sniffed, tears beginning to roll down his cheeks. "But no one sees that... They see me as a monster... They see me as a dragon who burns down forests, who burns and scorches dragons they love, they-" He hesitated. "They see me as a Maldius waiting to happen..."

(To Maldius: Maelstrom: Hmm...? *eyes syringe* Just a sample of eternal life... in the underworld.)

Looking up at Mac again, Sherry reaches up and tries wiping away his tears with the thick, sleeve-like fur on her arm. "But you're not like that, Mac, you're not like Moldius, because he hurts people on purpose." The dragonet hugs Mac again. "You're nothing like that mean purple bad guy, so I don't want to hear you say anything like that again. You're my friend, Mac!"

Scratch didn't have enough time to react, as he was pinned down. He stayed put, silently reaching for something tied around his waist. Scratch grabbed it, and waited to see what she would do next.

(Btw Scratch is a mind reader, that's why he can't breathe fire)

Macgyver smiled at her hug. "I'm your friend too..."

(Maldius: *to Maelstrom* Thanks, but I think I'll pass...)

Ivy secured her grip on Scratch's neck and put one paw between his shoulderblades to better hold him down. 'I could kill you so easily, tough guy...' she purred. Then, to Casta, 'Please, be careful... I came all this way to find you, and I really don't want to lose you again.'

Sherry smiles, swishing her tail gently and mewling, the noise being like that of a little kitten.

(To Maldius: Maelstrom: Oh, come now... what could be so bad about //that//? Didn't you say something about being a god? *scoots closer*)

(Maldius to Maelstrom: Yeah, sorry but I'm busy at the moment, try calling again later.

Maldius: BLAAAACKIIIICCEEE GET ME AN ANTIDOTE NOWW!! *tries crawling away from Maelstrom at snail-speed*)

Scratch growled in frustration. //This will be hard... She is stronger than I thought...// He thought. Scratch silently and almost undetectably, he squeezed slightly out of her grip, then proceeding to pretend like he was useless. //Any move and I'll strike girl...//

Ivy released her hold on Scratch's neck and looked down at him, still firmly pinning him into the snow with her claws. 'Should I let you live or die?' she said with a little smirk. 'Oh? Not going to say anything, boy?'

To Maldius: Maelstrom: Ahh, I see... you're a god *cough* self-claimed *cough*, so it's no surprise that you're so busy... But won't you spare a few moments with your dear partner in crime? This will only take a few seconds, and afterwards you'll have all the time in the world... no exaggeration. *readies syringe*)

(Maldius to Maelstrom: Sorry, no can do, I just remembered I have a ticket to board the NOPE train, and it's about to leave...!)

And with Ivy releasing her grip, Scratch darted behind her. He held two sharp bejeweled blades, one held at her throat, the other at her stomach. "I should be asking that question" He said slyly into her ear. "You! Both of you! If one of you make a move, We'll see whether your insides are as pretty as your looks!" He let out an insane grin. "Hmmm... Surender to me or I will, girl...."
There was no way she could move without getting disemboweled.

Ivy kept as motionless as possible. She'd suspected Scratch might try something, but she hadn't realised he was this fast. //And where did those blades come from?// She thought distractedly. Playing for time, she asked, 'What exactly do you want from us?'

Scratch smiled. "You two, come with me, and no one is killed...."
He carefully avoided Ivy's spikes, keeping the blades in place just for precaution.

Ivy obeyed, though her mind was whirling in search of a way to escape. Suddenly she stopped and said, 'No. Let the white dragon go free... I'll come with you... I'll do whatever you want.' She managed to hide the tremble in her voice.

(To Ivy: Not to ruin your heroic moment, but it's not like Casta can //fly// off the island....)

(Ivy: Oh, shush! Don't spoil my drama!)

(Maesltrom to Maldius: Pfft, that sounds boring.. but, if you must go, at least bring some tea for the trip. *hands out teacup with not-very-tea-like fluids inside*
*does NOT smile wickedly*)

(Maldius to Maelstrom: *looks inside the cup*

(Maelstrom to Maldius: YOUR FACE IS A LIE!! *splashes tea all over Maldius*)

Scratch narrowed his eyes, hearing all of her plans of escape melt away from her brain. He thought for a moment, before slightly laughing. "The little worm has no wings, unless he prepares to swim off the island, he is stuck. See me as doing a favor.... You either come along, or die in the harsh climate..." Scratch smirked. "Your choice little one...."

(Maldius to Maelstrom: Nooooo, it buuurrrnnsssss!!! *flops around like a fish*)

(WELCOME BACK KOLE!)

(Maelstrom to Maldius: Stop freaking out, bro: it'll only kill you if you ingest it.... Oopsies, did I just say that out loud?)

(Macgyver: I may or may not of warmed up that "tea" for him

Ivy bared her teeth but didn't move. 'If Casta comes along, I want a promise that no-one will hurt him... Anything you want, you can get it from me. You don't need to hurt him too.' She held her head up high, disguising her fear and worry so that Casta wouldn't notice.

"Good boy...." Scratch hissed. "Now... We are going to my master and you BOTH will apologize, ok? Very simple, very simple"

(Did Scratch just call Ivy a boy? XD )

Ivy hissed. 'I'll do it, but I don't understand what we're apologising for. Your MASTER ought to be apologising to us, really!'

(You heard him - apologize to the retching dragon who is dying a slow and miserable death with nobody around who cares to help.)

(Fade: Oh yes, I'm sure Maldius cares about hearing their apologies right now.)

(Scratch: *To fading* SHUT UP OR I SHANK YOU)

Scratch growled. "Hmph.... I won't hurt him, but I can't speak for Maldius... And You don't deserve an apology, you walking plant."

Maldius lies limply on the frozen ground, the only indications of whether or not he's even still alive being the occasional twitch and shudder of his muscles, and the rise and fall of his chest as he draws deep, gasping breaths.

Ivy bristled automatically. //Walking PLANT?// Then she quickly reined back her temper before Scratch decided to kill her. 'Fine... let us go and speak to your o so noble Master,' she said sarcastically. More quietly, she said, 'I'm sorry, Casta.'

(Well, she IS named after a plant...)

(Ivy: I've reduced the great and powerful Maldius to a twitching heap lying in a pool of his own vomit... I'm not sure whether to be proud or disgusted.)

As they neared the domain, Scratch noticed Maldius on the ground. He frantically pushed Ivy inside, making sure Casta followed. He took them downstairs, throwing them both into one of the Prison cells that were not destroyed. He looked the door behind him with a key lying on a nearby table. "It is nearly impossible to escape... These cell walls are enchanted. And...." He added. "If you escape," He pointed to his head. "I will know..."

Scratch darted away, looking around for the medicine Blackice used before. Finding it, he ran outside up to Maldius, applying it to the wound.

(Scratch to Maelstrom: OH IM SORRY BUT I THOUGHT ROBOTS AND PLANTS DIDNT HAVE FEELINGS)

(Just realized I still haven't drawn Scratch yet, shoot I need to do that...)

Maldius sighs and moans, still lacking the strength to move. "Scraaatch...?"

Ivy grunted as she was tossed into the cell. Shaking her head and stifling a groan at the pain from her injuries, she looked across at Casta. 'I guess I did a bad job at rescuing you.'

(Maelstrom to Scratch: At least I have a //life//... unlike a certain no-name who slobbers over his master's heels like a collared dog.)

(Maldius: Says the dragon who spends every day and night sitting on a mountain staring at a city *cough cough* Maelstrom *cough*)

Ivy laid her head down on her forepaws, gazing at Casta with half-closed eyes. She was completely exhausted. 'I had to,' she said. 'You're the best friend I've had since I left Chrysos... and even though we only just met...' She coughed and winced as pain flared in the wounds from Maldius' claws, 'I care about you, for some reason.'

(Scratch to Maelstrom: I am not a DOG! And Maldius is a GOD unlike YOU *Hugs the eggplant boi*)

"I'm here, I'm her Master"

Maelstrom to Maldius: AT LEAST I'M NOT A NARCISSTIC MAGICAL EGGPLANT WHO THROWS TEMPER TANTRUMS LIKE A 3-MONTH OLD HATCHLING)

Ivy smirked tiredly back at him. 'Well, maybe it'll become clear one day...' she murmured evasively. She closed her eyes and tried to relax. 'Hopefully they'll leave us alone for a little while... but Casta, I'm not sure I can protect you in this place.'

(Maelstrom to Scratch: That's new to me... I've never heard of a god who has a habit of nearly dying in a puddle of his own vomit...)

"Did the white llama... get away...?" Maldius growls, his power slowly returning to him.

(Maldius: [to Maelstrom] It sounds like you are right now.)

Scratch attempts to help Maldius up. "I have captured both of your little friends, and they are waiting for you in the basement, either shaking in fear or snogging" Scratch jokes.

(Ivy to Scratch: Don't worry, I'm much too tired for that. I'll save the snogging for another time...)

(I totally didn't learn that word from Harry Potter......)

(Scratch: Duh- Bachius, he gets drunk a lot)

Ivy settled down and became still, trying to conserve her energy in case she needed to fight again soon. Her wounds still hurt, and probably would for a few days.

It doesn't seem like much is happening right now, and there are still very few people here, so I might go now.)

Maldius manages a grin, slowly rising to his feet with Scratch's aid. "Well done, Scratch, if there were any way for me to promote you, I'd give you the highest ranking I could offer. Perhaps I'll have to find some other way to reward you..." The pupils of the dark exile's eyes glow brightly as he uses his telekinesis to remove the vomit from his purple scales, and levitating it in the air for a moment, thinks about what he could possibly do with a substance so repulsive, so disgusting. A terribly wicked grin crosses Maldius' maw as an idea forms in his mind, and he encases the regurtitated liquid in a shell of ice. "Come, Scratch, let us properly visit the worms you have done so well in capturing for me."

( @Shadow: Nooo, Alfred is the best..... QoQ)

( @Kole: I hope that's all...)

Ivy suddenly stiffened and raised her head, hearing footsteps getting closer to their cell. 'Someone's coming...' she said, nudging Casta.

( Oh well AL will have to tell his ghosts story next time...T.T)

( @Shadow: That's a bummer! Well, neither Fluffy nor Griffin are present after all, so Al would have nobody to which he may tell his story. xP)

The thumping of Maldius' loud footsteps echoes throughout the circular dungeon as Maldius enters the room, grinning maliciously at his two new prisoners as he approaches their cell. "Well, well, well... what do you two think of your new home? I trust it's to your liking?"

Ivy looked up and grinned at Maldius, not even trying to act respectful towards the dark dragon. 'Oh, it's wonderful,' she said sweetly. 'Though it would be better if it was a little cleaner, and I wasn't bleeding all over the place, and your guard dog was less ugly.' She bared her teeth at Scratch.

Scratch hissed, taking out his bejeweled blades, placing them between his paws, making them seem more like long and wicked claws.

(Sorry, I think I have to go after all. :/ My wifi is going to be turned off soon. If you want to freeze Mal/Casta/Ivy's conversation there, we can continue where we left off next time...)

(Hmmm @Radiant, if you want to go to bed, they could interrogate Casta while you are gone, if you want. I feel you, I was in Italy the other day and the time difference was horrid XD )

(Turtle: If that works out for all of you, then feel free to keep going with Ivy and Casta. Though you may want to take Casta to a different room, because Ivy would try to protect him if she's there.)

Maldius laughs darkly. "Ahh, forgive me, here, I have a better cell, I'm sure you'll appreciate it more." Using his telekinesis, he throws Casta against the wall and drags Ivy out of the cell, making sure to crush her wounds against the cold floor as he brings her to another cell, far from Casta's, with the corpse of a rotting dragon inside. Maldius violently throws her against the wall before trapping her inside with his magic. "There, that's better, isn't it? It's the least I could do for you..."

(In any case, I'll leave you guys to make a decision. See you all next week!)

Ivy shrieked with pain as she was flung into the cell, then wrinkled her muzzle in distaste upon noticing the rotting corpse. She limped towards the bars and hissed at Maldius. 'Don't you dare hurt Casta!'

Scratch lunged into the cell, picking up Casta up with ease. He sent one more glare at Ivy, dropping Casta. "See you later, honey."
He said to her, before shutting the cage.

Laughing, Maldius turns away from Ivy and back to Casta's cell. Dragging Casta out of the room the same way he did with Ivy, he holds him up in the center of the room, creating a terrible spike of ice beneath the wingless dragon, threatening to impale him. "Now then, Casta... tell me, what have you spoken to this disgusting, venomous abomination of a dragon that you called Ivy? What secrets of mine did you reveal to her?"

(Maldius: BlackIce, you could come downstairs and observe the interrogation, you know...)

"Liar!" Scratch snarled.

( @Fade Both, Maldius would like to keep Casta alive for something he has planned, but he'd be willing to harm Casta with it, if he feels like it.)

Blackice in deep studying reading the book Maldius gave him was pulled out of his concentration when he heard Maldius and Scratch "what going on now? " he close the book in headed towards the cells

"Tsk, tsk, I don't approve of lying, Casta. What did you tell her?" Maldius demands calmly, turning Casta around enough to allow him to see the spike as the purple dragon lowers him closer to it.

Maldius grins, looking to his assistant. "Well, Scratch? Is he?"

Blackice made his way to the cell room he look at new addition and arched his eyebrow "it looks like you have new meat?"

Noticing BlackIce's appearance, Maldius turns his head to him and grins. "Ahh, BlackIce! Do come in. I was just interrogating this little lying traitor. Perhaps afterwards, you can tell me the results of your research."

"He told her of your disguise" Scratch said, fishing that out of Casta's thoughts. "And remember Maldius, this dragon knows of every plan you spoke of apron your first meeting with Maelstrom."

"But that's just the surface" Scratch hissed. "He may hold more secrets...."

"Hmmm, then I suppose I cannot allow her to leave here alive," Maldius states upon hearing Scratch's comment. The purple exile then begins circling the helpless little Casta, lowering him ever closer to the gleaming icicle beneath him. "Now, what should I do with you, Casta? What should I do to punish you, not only for revealing my secrets, but also for lying?"

Blackice bow his head "very well" then look at the white wingless dragon and snorts // pathetic//

Scratch squirmed, for some reason remembering his promise to Ivy.

"W-wait!" He said a little frantically
"We could use him."

"What do you think is the worst thing I could do to him?" Maldius asks, looking to Scratch with a sick grin.

Maldius raises an eyebrow at Scratch, mildly curious as to his behaviour. "How so? Please, do enlighten me with your thoughts."

Scratch shivered. "Well, since he has no wings, I guess that's off of the list.." Scratch squirmed.
"But seriously, he could be used a spy or some sort, given the fact he is the most weak and unnoticed dragon out there..."

Maldius narrows his eyes slightly. "Casta? A spy? You know he's already revealed some of my secrets to the enemy, yet you want me to send him into our enemy's territory to spy on them?"

"He could easily give us information from both kingdoms, no dragon would suspect this little dragon of anything, and I could keep watch of him. And the good thing is, no dragon will reconize him, unlike you or me. Well there is only one dragon for me, but that's still one more than him."

"Casta would tell everyone all of our secrets just for a meal, I have no trust in him, Scratch." Maldius ever-so-slightly lowers Casta to the spike, just enough to touch the dragon's chest.

Scratch looked at his feet, letting out a huff of annoyance. "Then what are we going to do? Just get some useless information out of them, and then proceed to inhale them with Popsicle sticks? I mean, you almost died because of this!"

(Maldius: Brilliant idea! We'll make a device out of popsicle sticks that'll shrink Casta, allowing me to inhale him! I always knew you were a genius. *pats Scratch on the back proudly*)

"Kill him, of course!" Maldius declares, grinning with amusement at Scratch. "That way, we'll never have to worry about a little white rat running around, foiling my plans."

(Scratch: I knew degree would come in handy. ;w; )

Scratch let out an annoyed growl. "But- Maldius I thought you wanted to build an army?!? These are perfect pawns! That walking plant over there will do anything for this white worm! If we keep him here, she will do anything for us! I mean, look how powerful she is! She almost killed you, Maldius! You can't j-just kill everyone you stumble apon! You won't get anywhere!"
Scratch roared, a little too loudly.
He immediately regretted that, in fear Maldius would get upset at these words.

Maldius glares at Scratch at first... but then he smiles. Then, his smile widens into a twisted grin, and he laughs... "The thing is, Scratch... I //can// kill whoever I want. I was born-no, created, rather-to be a one-dragon army, I could waltz into Lennox's castle and kill him with ease, and no one could stop me! I just want an army to better toy with the king's mind, killing him quickly would be very disappointing. Really, the only people I need are you and BlackIce." The dark, twisted dragon then turns to Casta. "As for you..." Maldius raises Casta higher into the air... then slams him down, but right at the last second, he causes the ice spire to melt.

"Then-" Scratch hesitated, looking at his feet before looking back up at Maldius. "What are you going to do about Maelstrom?"

"Oh, I plan on trying to cheer him up. Maybe introducing you and BlackIce to him will help him, but if he doesn't calm down and try to do something useful, I'll probably kill him. It should be a good fight!" Maldius remarks casually, grinning at the last statement. He then grins down at Casta before throwing him back in his solitary cell. "You'd better be prepared, Casta, I've thought of the perfect punishment for you. Tomorrow, I shall venture out and find the most despicable exiles I can find... and then my arena will be up and running again!" Laughing maniacally, he seals Casta inside the prison cell and turns, walking toward the dungeon's exit.

"Er- May I have a word with our prisoner, alone?" Scratch asked.

"Why would you ask for something like that? Don't tell me you're plotting against me, Scratch... you've seen what I do to disloyal servants." Maldius narrows his eyes questioningly at Scratch.

"Of course not! I'm not stupid enough to plot against you!"
Scratch whipped around to the cage, sticking his head between the bars. "You owe me... Don't die tomorrow" He snarled, before turning away out the door.

Maldius watches Scratch, highly interested in what's going on in the dragon's mind, before setting his mind on other things. Unsure if BlackIce left or not, he roars, "BlackIce! I would like to hear your progress studying the book so far."

Blackice hearing Maldius call came rushing up and bow his head "yes my Master's you called?!" He looked up at Maldius and smiled "it a lovely little book Master. .... it has secrets...old secret " he had a strange look to him as he tilted his head odd like

"You have fun with your scrapbook..." Scratch growled, curling up not far from them.

"Hmmm, have you learned any new magic from it, my faithfull servant?" Maldius asks as they ascend the staircase out of the dungeon and into the grand throne room.

As Blackice followed him "... yes...but I need to know more. ..." his eyes darken "so many secrets...so...so...many.... even secret... they try and hide form me...but they can't. ... I have learned from them... but I need more...." he raised his talons to show Maldius they had dried blood and something that felt like Darkness "I ...I can touch them now...but they do not live lone...I need to read more secret.. .. and learned more...."

"Yes, I know you do... I know there are four other books, however I must retrieve them first... for now, you must be satisfied with what you have." Maldius examines BlackIce's claws curiously, but yet feeling pleased. "Here... I need to fimd some petty exiles tonight, as I shall revive my arena tomorrow, how about you come with me and show me what you've learned?"

Blackice tilted his head with a please look"...more..books?...more.. secrets...?more....meat?..." he smiled "my pets...can help find meat..." he snap his talons and his best show came running into the room "my... beautiful pet...we need to find more...meat!" He turns his head and looks at Maldius "there are at your command master...we need more. ..meat"

(Just a heads up I'm going to be working on something so my replies may be slow)

"Yesss, we need more meat. Come, my servant, let us go hunting!" Maldius grins, turning back towards the entrance and charging through the hallway, throwing the grand doors of his fortress open.

Maldius leaps into the air, flying over the vast expanse of the Frozen Waste. Eventually spotting a small group of dragons along the shoreline, the purple dragon tucks his wings in and violently lands in the center of the group, causing stone to form around the dragons' feet, and then he waits for his servant to follow.
