Anti-Tracing Things That Aren't Your Own by TheWanderingFox

If you want to trace something you drew on paper or for a collab, that's fine.

But you do NOT trace things that you did not create. It doesn't matter what it is, tracing things that isn't yours is still tracing things that isn't yours.

I've seen people actually get POPULAR because of this, it disgusts me. You shouldn't get fame out of this.

Nah. I'm currently working on a zero suit samus painting (WII U edition) that will be detailed. It is a trace but. I will add excessive detailing to the trace painting. I plan on doing two more SSB4 characters. Such as Captain Falcon and Wario. I'm only doing this because I want to.

So by that logic, it'd be okay to take an existing artwork from a popular artist, trace every little detail, and call it your own.

Get lost kiddo, you don't seem to get anything.

Tracing is just a quick way to steal someone's work and then claiming it as their own. People like that really aren't artists... they're lazy and just theives.
