"I'm borderline happy, and I'm borderline sad."

As much as Spark may give people (or pokemon) a hard time or seem like a bit of a jerk he really doesn't mean it. Even if the way he acts or talks doesn't always show it he cares a lot about everyone on the ranch and gets very lonely when no ones around. He hates to say goodbye even if it's only for a short time. And he really can't be on his own for too long without getting depressed so he often searches for someone to be with.
