J3SS was created by Sabrina, making her an assistant when it comes to Sabrina's job, a house sitter when Sabrina is off on a mission, or just a simple housemate for Sabrina to talk to. When Sabrina goes missing for a certain amount of time during a mission or gets a report of her being missing- even possibly declared de.ad when not found in a week-, she shuts down. When Sabrina is missing or declared de.ad, she will remain shut down until reactivated.
