Meet Raymond Alabaster, he's the monster kingpin of a group of thieves and poachers who travel around Vale in search for rare beast and artifacts, and sometimes those rarities are people. A caravan was on the way to the Marone Islands where his base of operations is, west of Caltone Central, but it appears they won't be arriving.
He's actually Sirius's father who abandoned him before he was even one year old. What identifies them as family are distinct marks on the sides of their heads that is shared through the family tree.
He was once a hunter but decided to settle a bit. He still accepts the occasional bounty but gets his goons to do it for him.
He once hunted a dragon and keeps the gem heart on display, to display his victory. If he were to see one again, he would not hesitate to kill.
At first he may seem stern and intimidating, but once you get on his good side he's almost as eccentric as his son.
