It might not mean that at all. It might mean that those people's fate is out of your hands, they are God's to make Final Judgement.
It's possible that after Final Judgement you will go one way for your kindness and your honor, and they will go the other way for punishing you for it.
If they do not turn themselves around so that they become less capable of that cruel and sinister behavior than you are, then this might become their fates unendingly forever.
