Erebus finally exited his home on the outskirts of Wyvane. He had followed his queen's orders to avoid the border, but he had a feeling it was safer now.

Erwen nodded at Sherry's request. "Of course, the next time I speak to my father I'll make sure he knows."

(Fade: Aaaah, thank you. X))

Alfred was carefully folding a piece of paper with his talons while he waited for Nikita cooking the concoction for him

Sherry bounces around with glee. "Thank you, Prince Erwen! You're the best!"

Crowley caught a few fish in a stream somewhere outside Solaris and lay stretched out lazily by the bank as he ate his kill. Thoughts of his last encounter with Erwen still drifted through his mind, unsettling him more than he'd care to admit. Fighting against Chrysos had been something he'd worked towards for most of his life, and he felt somewhat empty without that familiar goal in sight. //At least I have a new enemy to deal with,// he thought, digging his claws into the earth in contemplation. //That Maldius guy... exactly HOW powerful is he?//

(Kole, when you get back, should we continue Casta and Ivy's conversation from before?)

Nitika sniffed the mixture of ingredients. "I believe it's finished.
...It smells much better than before." She offered it to Alfred, "What do you think?"

Wyvrick sat on a cliffside in the mountain range near Solaris. He huffed an angry sigh as he played with his magic. "So weak..." He growled.

Maelstrom paced on the same rock platform that he had visited to practice his disguise illusion, his eyes frequently flickering to the horizon. "Where is that purple serpent?" he growled impatiently. Smoke billowed from Maelstrom's nostrils, and the raging furnace in his chest matched his mood after hearing of the chaos that Maldius had wreaked in Solaris.

Erwen smiled at Sherry's newly found excitement. "I think the best dragon here is you, you're the one helping all those grumpy dragons."

Erebus slowly navigated himself down the empty paths until he was certain that he was heading towards the border.

( @Lilly *facepalm*)

The dark dragon of legend, Maldius, lies on his throne an examines the book of dark magic he holds in his claws. He notes how the book doesn't have an elaborate cover, and yet it is something to be feared. //I can only imagine the kind of power it could bestow on the reader... but with the side effects, who knows what it could do to a dragon...// he ponders, waiting for BlackIce to finish cleaning.

Sherry giggles and bows her head slightly, embarrased. "Thank you, Prince Erwen," she says, before smiling at him again. "Hey, can you tell me what it's like to be Mister King Lennox's son?"

Ivy let her gaze wander into the horizon. 'So you said you actually MET Maldius while he was in disguise?' she asked Casta. 'What did he look like then?' //If I knew what Maldius' disguise looks like, I could tell the King! I'd be a hero for bringing him vital information!//

(Maldius: CASTA NO DON'T!! CASTA NO!!)

Alfred practice ears up, and smells it " yep it looks and smells right to me!" He digs in his bag and pulls out a box and opens it, and remove several empty vials "If you can fill this up with that stuff that would be great!" He smiled " ...now I have to do the fun part " he said with sarcasm, and does a *raspberry* he reaches up to the broken tube, and carefully twisted he smiled trying to hide his discomfort, as the tube makes a hissing noise as he removes it from its place and places it on his lap to look at it.

(Maldius: Good Casta.)

Erwen's smile falters slightly. "It's hard being the son of a king. There are many things expected of me."
Erebus made quick progress through the dense forest. He decided it'd be best to avoid the area where he was confronted by the hostile Aquilam dragons. Erebus altered his direction, heading north. Even from this distance he could hear faint voices on the wind.

Sherry listens intently. "Yeah? Like what?"

Picking up on Casta's reluctance, Ivy turned her head to peer down at the white dragon. 'Are you worried Maldius might hurt you for giving away his secret? Come on sweetheart, you know I'd protect you,' she said with a little grin. 'And Maldius will never know that it was you who said it.'

(Would anyone actually trust Ivy? XD)

Nitika carefully filled a few vials with the mixture, then looked at Alfred, "That looks... Uncomfortable. Does it hurt...?" She said before beginning to fill more vials.
Wyvrick fully completed a magic shield in front of him. He tapped it with one claw a couple of times, it stayed firm.
Then he pulled back one claw and jabbed it into the forcefield. It shattered into a million tiny sparkles. "Physical shields are still too delicate.." He mumbled.

Blackice stick his head in the door " MASTER!!! I have finished cleaning!! I put everything I could back to place! I scrub the floors, and polish the furniture! Is there any else you would like done Master! I can make you something to eat if you like or I can go fetch something for you? I am at your service my Lord" as he bows

Maldius grins at BlackIce's reappearance. "I have a new task for you, BlackIce, or perhaps I should rather call it a test. Come here, and stand before me."

Ivy nodded slowly, obviously deep in thought. 'I'm sure he is. A dragon as infamous as Maldius must have a very impressive appearance...' She paused, mind drifting to other things, then shook herself back to reality. 'Let's keep it simple. What colour were his scales?'

(Maldius: @Mademoinette/Kole That is his punishment for wrecking my room.)

(I made friends with two ants just now and named them Orion and Nebula. I gave them a Cheerio for good tidings.)

Erwen paused to consider his wording. "Many dragons expect me to be strong, so I can protect them." He glanced at the young dragon listening to him. "Everyone is expecting me to be like my father."

After getting his foot caught one last time in the undergrowth, Erebus finally stumbled onto the riverbank. //Finally, I can wander in peace..// He tilted his head to listen to his enviroment, listening for any signs of other dragons.

@Fade if I met two ants, I'd name them Squish and Squash, and then I'd 'give them a hand.' >:3 )

Concealing her disappointment, Ivy shrugged and gave Casta a small smile. 'Let me tell you a little secret... when I was out travelling the other day, I met a rather handsome ice dragon.' She kept her voice casual. 'He called himself Yssarion. I don't think he liked me very much, but he //was// nice-looking.' As she talked, she studied Casta's face for any sign of recognition.

Alfred "haha well it doesn't tickle" he looks at the broken tube " well I don't have the right supplies or the energy to fix this right now... I've have to use my spare"
He reaches into his bag and pulls out another tube " but I should be ok for a while. I still have feeling in my talons, well mostly " he Chuckles reaches up and put the new tube in its place and twisted it till it click "well that in place". He smiled look inside his bag and pulls out some candy he put one in his mouth and offers one to Nikita "do you like honey drops?"

(Ants get into my house a lot, I don't know where they come from.)

"Wow, that sounds like it'd be kinda tiring." Sherry remarks thoughtfully, "I'm sure you'll do a great job though, I believe in you, Prince Erwen!"

(Watching bugs run around is fun until they get in your house and kitchen :p)

( @Kole: Definitely! Although I'm afraid that Orion and Nebula might decide to invite their friends to enjoy the Cheerio I gave them... this might turn into a problem.)

Ivy paused and rested her head on her forelegs, gazing into the distance with a thoughtful expression. 'Yes, he was very polite. Though I do feel he was hiding something from me... Oh well, it was probably nothing.'

Blackice walks over and stand in front of Maldius "yes my Master's you have another task for me to prove my worthiness of your awesomeness?"

(Anyone have a favourite insect? I like bumblebees, I've let them sit on my hand before. X))

Nitika stared thoughtfully at the candy for a moment, "I remember these... They were my favorite when I was little."
She took the candy Alfred had offered her and popped it into her mouth, then chuckled.
"I put one of these in my first potion, because it tasted bad."

(I'm an insectophobe, but I still think they're cool. xD)

( @Crowley: Bumblebees are absolutely adorable, although I like snails and ladybugs too. Some of my friends call me a "bug whisperer" because insects are always calm around me, and I am calm around them. 'XD)

'They certainly do!' Ivy replied. 'I'm sure even WE hide things.' She fell silent, musing over how she was going to get Casta to talk about Maldius.

( @Fluffy: You aren't alone - I have countless friends who hate them too. XD)

(Fluffy: I'm fine with insects, but I don't like web spiders.)

( butterfly, dragonflies, and praying mantises, their are some pretty awesome insects ^-^, but the one I HATE is BLOOD SUCKLING TICKS!!! KILL IT WITH FIRE!! And then Kill it some more!! >:( )

"Well it's my duty." Erwen hesitantly raised a paw and patted Sherry's head. "Thank you though, you're a very kind dragonette Sherry."

Erebus could detect voices upwind of him. So slowly he headed in that direction, using his blind eyes to uselessly look for traces of the dragons nearby.

(I'm going to send him to Nitika and Alfred if you two are okay with that :T)

(Shadow: Ooh, I get ya. DX There are so many of those evil little things in our garden.)

( @Shadow I love dragonflies and butterflies too! But ticks and spiders are the worst.)

Using his telekinesis, the book of dark magic floats out of Maldius' claws and hovers in front of BlackIce. "The book hovering before you is the first of five documentaries on ancient, powerful dark magic. I task you with studying the book and learning what it has to teach, then showing me what you have learned. If I find you trustworthy with this artifact, you will be rewarded." Maldius explains, studying BlackIce's expression closely.

( @Shadow: Oh yes, those are awesome too! And who on earth would //like// a tick??)

(I'm not too fond of spiders if they're on me or trying to get on me, but I'm still fascinated by them. After drawing my spider centaur Raven a million times, I've kinda gotten over my dislike for them. XD)

Ivy looked slightly surprised. 'Well, why wouldn't I want to know? I could help Aquilam with this information. I bet they don't even know about Maldius' disguise...' She glanced at Casta. 'You don't trust me, do you? I suppose you think I'm working for Maldius or something.' A little dejected, she returned to her former position.

Alfred chuckled at Nikita " I'm sure it turned out okay though" he smiled "
OH! I made you something! " he picks up the paper he was holding earlier and opens his talons revealing a origami flower " TADAA! " he twist his ears "oh I think someone coming " he pointed

Sherry squeaks and beams up at Erwen happily, feeling as though she's done something incredible.

Ivy smiled slightly. 'Oh, don't worry. It would be a little silly to trust someone you only just met. But I'm sure he won't find you... even the supposedly all-powerful Maldius can't know everything. He's not a god. But if you're not ready to talk about him yet, then I'll wait.'

(Fade: I'm pretty sure they live around here, I've just never noticed them. Where do you normally find them?)

Nitika gently picked up the origami flower Alfred made and observed every detail. Her eyes sparkled in awe and a small smile lit up her face. "It's beautiful... Thank you!"
She suddenly froze and looked toward where Alfred was pointing, "You're right, I hear it too."

Wyvrick snorted unhappily and took to the skies. Perhaps he could find something else to do...

(Kole: I'm not sure what Ivy and Casta should do now.)

( @Crowley: I almost always find them in bushes, and in the summer.)

(Geez, I'm in a very chatty mood. I can't seem to concentrate on one thing.)

Blackice looking at the floating book "very well master I'm actually quite good in the studies though..." he reached up and grabbed the book, but his expression darkened "...however most things of power...have a price to pay...I should know...." he tilts his head strange like his eyes showed no emotion "I will study the book...and tell you what I find..."

(Fade: There are loads of bushes here, so I should see them. Maybe they don't like us. XD

I think one of the most common bugs in our garden is the pill bug. Like you can overturn a stone and there's a million of them under it)

(I'm gonna stop talking about bugs now.)

Erebus paused for a moment when the voices went quiet. Hesitantly he continued in the direction of where he'd heard them last. //I hope these dragons are not hostile, I don't know if I can fend off more than one.//

Erwen gave Sherry an amused look and retracted his arm. "How long do you plan on staying here Sherry? You'll be returning to Chrysos soon I can imagine."

( @Crowley: I usually see them in the bushes in front of our house, but when I think about it, I think they prefer trees. They avoid the ground because they become easy prey for ants. Other than that, I know very little about mantis. I'm suddenly curious to research about them.)

"Good." Maldius rises from his throne, looking down at BlackIce with an amused grin. "Now, I will leave to find... an accquaintance of mine. Try not to destroy anymore of my fortress, would you? And don't even consider seating yourself on my throne." The dark exile begins to leave, and as his footsteps echo through the room, he speaks one last time to BlackIce. "If you ever need any dragons for testing, feel free to use any exile you find here in the Frozen Waste... Lennox is benevolent enough to give them to us, after all, we musn't let them go to waste."

( @Crowley: Goodness, I've lost track of how many pill bugs I have named...)

"Oh, I don't know," Sherry explains, "I just wanted to go on an adventure, so I think I'll go exploring a bit! And don't worry, I have a bodyguard!" The little dragonet laughs, gesturing to Adrianne.

(Kole and Fluffy: I think I'm gonna have Ivy head into Aquilam. If Casta doesn't want to follow her, he could stay behind and meet Wyvrick. Or Kole, he can go with Ivy if you want.)

Alfred "HELLO!! SOMEONE IN THE BUSHES!!" He shouted. AL look back at Nikita "yaeh! I said you need a trophy for being so nice! So I made you one!" He did the Alfred smiled #Aafredsmile at her. He look back in the direction of the noise "YOU CAN OUT WE WON'T EAT YOU!!" He looked at Nikita " at least I don't eat Dragons that's cannibalism, I'm pretty sure you don't eat them I don't know about princesses though..." he chuckled "oh that right princess!"

(Lilly: That's a pretty cool idea, though wouldn't Maldius kill Casta if he found out he'd been talking about him? XD)

( @Crowley: Lol! I think it's a good idea that we stopped talking about bugs - I think everybody is fed up with us. 'XD)

Erwen smiled. "Well it's good to hear you'll have protection, especially after the recent attack." Erwen stood and stretched his wings. "Be careful out there if you do go out though."

(I heard pill bugs...this convo isn't over yet!)

( @Crowley Oh no, first he'd give Casta the grand tour of his fortress' dungeon/torture chamber as a final warning :p )

Maesltrom stopped pacing to sit down and tap a golden claw on the stone in impatience. His eyes kept on the lookout for a familiar purple hide, and his mechanical ears whirred as they strained to catch the sound of wingbeats. //He'd better be around here!// the cyborg dragon hissed.

Erebus turned his head towards Alfred's voice and stumbled through the bushes until he stood in front of them. At least he thinks he's in front of them. "What is this I'm hearing about cannibalism?"

(I honestly don't really know what to do with Wyvrick right now. xD)

After a few minutes of quiet, Ivy shifted, stretching out her neck with a yawn. 'Listen, Casta,' she said. 'I'm going to head into Solaris for a little while and look for news about Maldius. I won't be long. You can come with me if you like, though if you'd rather stay away from Aquilam, you're welcome to wait here.'

Blackice studying the outside of the book "very well... I feed my pets with some earlier..., but I'm sure I can find more meat...to play with...."

Nitika hear Erebus' voice come from the brush. "Oh, Alfred's just clarifying that we won't eat you." She rolled her eyes, smiling.

Maldius again embarks on the journey to the border, Maelstrom's magic collar acting almost like a beacon to guide him. //I know he'll be furious with me, but perhaps I can reason with that metallic dragon.// Maldius keeps himself invisible for most of the flight, but as he nears Maelstrom's location, he dispels his illusion magic.

Maelstrom finally caught sight of Maldius approaching from the air, and he stood up to wait for him. His jaws parted in a silent snarl as he contemplated on what he would say to the purple dragon.

( @Kole Sure, I'll just have Wyvrick fly around the mountains until he meets her then?)

Landing calmly in front of Maelstrom, Maldius quickly notes his partner's anger, but he keeps his composure, folding his wings to his sides and sitting down. "... Greetings, my partner."

Wyvrick soared around the mountains, hoping he might spot a crevice or cave where jewels could be.

"I'll be ok! Don't worry, Prince Erwen!" Sherry declares, with much enthusiasm.

Erebus contemplated what the two said. "Why would you even bring up cannibalism then?" He focused his gaze on a few tries behind Nitika and Alfred as he spoke. //These two are quite...strange.//

"Don't play friendly with me, Maldius!" Maelstrom immediately snapped, his head lowered and neck arched in a threatening posture. "What do you think you were doing, prancing into Solaris and exposing yourself to everybody like that? Thanks to you, the success of my rebellion is going to steadily drop into the currents of the abyss!"

Maldius calmly curls his tail around his paws, feeling unthreatened. "I will explain, but first you need to cool your thoughts, Maelstrom."

Maldius' carefree composure angered Maelstrom even further, but he inhaled and huffed a breath of thick smoke from his nostrils. "Explain."

Alfred " we just didn't want you thinking we eat Dragons, and that's why you hiding" Alfred had a squinty face "you look familiar... what your name? Oh I'm Alfred " He starts to put the yellow vials away, and keep one out

(Lilly: Aww come on, you don't need to kill them if they're not doing anything to you.)

Ivy glanced over her shoulder to see Casta following her, and smiled. 'Jump on my back and we can fly to Solaris in a matter of minutes,' she offered.

( @Lilly: Lol, what did those bugs ever do to you?)

( now what...Alfred pulls out harmonica and starts playing it )

Nitika looked at Alfred, looking slightly concerned, then back to Erebus. "Um, I'm Nitika."

'Sure! Come on, it'll be safe.' Ivy crouched close to the grass to let Casta climb on, turning her gaze towards the distant city of Solaris.

Wyvrick flew around the mountains once more before landing on one of the peaks. The purple jewels on his backside sparkled different shades of green and blue, making him easy to see against the grey rock of the mountains.

"When I went to pay Lennox a visit, I overheard a conversation between him and his heir," Maldius calmly explains, "Lennox had obtained a powerful book of dark magic, and he was searching for the others. I knew the book would be a valuable asset, though I was reluctant to steal it, even with my invisibility. After the Prince left, I saw a creature come to Lennox, a being that I can say, with assurance, was the living dead. The undead spoke with the King, and warned him of my return." The dark purple exile leans forward slightly, narrowing his eyes. "Don't you see, Maelstrom? Even if I hadn't attacked, he would've been informed of my presence in Lecra. The dead themselves are rising from their graves to work against us! If Lennox has been hearing reports of me from the dead, then Chrysos' ruler could already have soldiers ready for an attack from you."

(Fade: I don't give specific names to pill bugs because I often can't tell them apart. XD)

Wyvrick craned his neck upwards to see Tiluna flying towards him. He stood up and readied himself to greet her.

( Ahhh I'm trying to figure out a new name for my OC species my Battle cat...yaeh I really didn't make good names at 14 so I'm thinking of a new one....man a lot of my old species have lame name warhorse , kings griffin :/ though I kind of like the name King Griffin still it fits them )

Ivy leapt into the air as soon as she felt Casta jump onto her back. 'Be careful up there,' she warned as she accelerated, racing through the sky so fast that she would appear as nothing more than a blur to anyone watching.

(Shadow: I would probably call them battle cats in a different language... that's how creative I am. XD)

Maelstrom growled, dissatisfied with Maldius' explanation and somewhat disbelieving. "So why didn't you just kill Lennox right then?" he snapped. "It would be better that the king be mysteriously killed than your presence be made before all of Lecra! In fact, his death would have benefitted our rebellion - the Aquilam dragons would have had nobody to blame but Chrysos, so they would have waged war with them!"

At the speed they were travelling, the huge front gates of Solaris came into view within moments. Ivy slowed her pace by flaring out her wings and began to descend. She glanced back to make sure Casta was still alive, chuckling a little as she noticed his expression. 'We're here,' she announced as they touched ground.

( @Crowley: Ahh, really? I forgot that we were goin to meet a little earlier for @Raksha's sake! Well @Kole, Artifact is up! XD)

Ivy's grin widened. 'You'll get used to it after a few flights,' she said carelessly. 'Now come on, we have to check this place out!' She hurried through the gates into the city, not waiting to see if Casta was following.

"Was //that// your plan the whole time?" Maelstrom snapped. "To watch a single dragon suffer before he dies? I thought you had partnered with me to take down all of Aquilam! But now you've made that so much harder to accomplish!" The cyborg dragon flapped his wings in agitation.

"Lennox is my main target, yes, but I'll see to it that Aquilam falls before him." Maldius pauses a moment, watching Maelstrom. "Don't rush to judgement, Maelstrom, this can still work to your advantage."

Wyvrick nodded sheepishly, thinking about his below-par abilities.
He took a deep breath, "I've mastered creating shields that reduce the effects of magic."
He demonstrated by drawing a circle in the air with his claw.
Within an instant, a slightly transclusent forcefield appeared in front of him.

(Maldius: IT WAS ALL A TRICK!! AAAAGH NOOOOOOOOO!!! LENNOOOOOOX!!! D'X

Ivy glanced back briefly upon hearing Casta's shout and slowed down a little, but was still walking quickly enough that he would have to jog to keep up. 'Look, isn't this city amazing?!' she exclaimed, gazing around at the buildings like a hatchling in a candy store. 'I think we're just heading into the marketplace now.'

"And how do you suppose it will work out?" Maelstrom demanded, sitting down and adjusting and readjusting his wings in dissatisfaction. "Our former plans will no longer work out, now that everybody knows that you are still alive. Our only option now is to wage a war against both the tribes, but from what I've seen thus far, all you've been doing is going around and starting trouble rather than recruiting warriors."

Maldius grins faintly at this, and huffs. "Hah! Need I remind you that I have a proffesional assassin at my clawtips? What's more, I have made two more allies, far more powerful than that wingless worm you recruited. ... Speaking of worms, where is Casta?"

Ivy noticed some of the bystanders staring at Casta's scars, and turned her head to snarl at them until they looked away. 'Don't you have better things to do than stare at people?' she snapped at a young male dragon who jerked back in surprise at her voice. 'Go get yourself a girlfriend, you sad loser!' She held his gaze until the two of them passed, then winked reassuringly at Casta as they entered the main market square. 'Hmm, I wonder if anyone here can tell us about Maldius?'

{After going to a very specific cavern, Ardens takes flight towards Solaris.}{Azureus rests in the Royal Infirmary.}{Biceras flies out of the Chrysos Capital towards the mountain labrynth in search of ores.}

(Anyone want to control a random Aquilam dragon to tell Ivy about Maldius?)

Maldius' nonchalance was ticking Maelstrom off, and he huffed steam from his snout. "Who cares about that backless dragon? He is practically useless to our plans, now that a war is inevitable. Who are these oh-so-powerful allies that you speak of?"

Erebus stood there uncomfortabley while 'looking' at Alfred. "My name is Erebus, I'm from Chrysos."
Erwen nodded at the dragonette. "I'm sure you will be Sherry. But if any dragons give you a hard time you can always come to me for assistance."

'Hmm, if that's true then I'm sure we can gather more info on him,' said Ivy. 'Though I do wonder why Maldius would show himself and attack the city. Wasn't he trying to stay undercover before?' She glanced around the market, noticing some food stalls and dragons chatting.

"That 'backless dragon' was present at our first meeting, what's more, he knows my identity as Yssarion. If he happened to leave you and inform Lennox everything he knows, how would that affect your perfect rebellion, hmm?" Maldius narrows his eyes questioningly, feeling rather unwilling to tell his partner about BlackIce and Scratch.

(Whoops, forgot that Ardens was in the infirmary where we left off. I'm just going to assume that he left at some point during the conversation.)

Alfred scratched his head "Erebus.Erebus. hmm the name sounds familiar....OH well! It will come to me later!, but hay! We are form Chrysos to!! " he smiled "do you want a candy there honey drops!"

"Ok!" Sherry squeaks again, giving Erwen another hug. "You're awesome, Prince Erwen!"

Ivy hummed to herself as she wandered briskly through the market. 'Anyone know anything about Maldius?' she yelled, not really caring if she caused an uproar with the name.

{Ardens lands in the Solaris Market and begins to browse the shops for food.//I haven't eaten anything in a while. I should get something.//}

Maelstrom narrowed his eyes as well. //It /would/ be bad. I don't care about my current rebellion anymore, now that it's trashed, and I could especially care less for Maldius, but if any dragon were to discover that I was alive and out for revenge, I would no longer be able to start a new rebellion.// "Then go find him and kill him! It should be that easy for you, O great and powerful lord of darkness," Maesltrom taunted sarcastically.

Erebus shook his head. "I'll pass on the candy, but thank you for the offer." He tilted his head listening to his surroundings.
Erwen grinned. "I'm just doing what a friend would do." He paused for a moment. //Is this what friends do?//

Alfred smiled "No problem! But if you ever like some just ask!"
He held up the last vial of yellow liquid and look at it. He set it down and held out his arm he took talons tapped a spot " OPEN SESAME SEEDS" in a deep monotone and a panel open he chuckled "I don't have to say that it's just funny!" there was a empty vial and he remove it.

{Upon hearing Ivy, Ardens turns towards her direction. He doesn't recognize Ivy at all.//Hmm, another outcast maybe?// However, once a bystander moved from in front of her, he saw Casta and immediately recognized him as the one he saw talking to Maelstrom two nights ago.//What? He's here? He might be a spy.// Ardens approaches, careful not to give away that he was observing them.}

Wyvrick smiled at Tiluna, "Right...
I've also worked on shields that protect from physical attack..."
He closed his eyes, focusing.
The first shield he summoned dissapeared. He then lifted one paw and opened it, causing a more angular forcefield to appear.
"But these are much less resiliant... I can't seem to get it right."

Nitika giggled at Alfred's silliness.
"So... Erebus, what brings you to the forest?" She asked

Erebus tilted his head in Nitika's direction. "Originally I came out for materials, but now I'm just on a walk, trying to avoid any hostile dragons." He sniffed the air and his face scrunched up. "What is that smell?"

"Yes, yes, of course," Maldius replies with a faint grin, before turning his back to Maelstrom and walking a few steps. "I'd suggest you watch your attitude, however, unless you'd like to be the singular leader of your rebellion."

(Seeing as nobody answered my comment, I'm just gonna control the dragon myself)

Ivy was aware that her yelling was making the two of them stand out, but she knew it was the fastest way of getting news about Maldius. Sure enough, several dragons nearby stared at her in horror and began to slip away. She growled in frustration as a large blue male dragon stepped towards them, smiling in welcome.
'If you don't have any information for us, I'm not interested,' she snapped.
'Don't worry, I'll talk to you,' the dragon replied. 'But let's introduce ourselves first.' He peered down at Casta, noticing his scars but deciding not to point them out. 'Hey there, little guy.'

"I'm so happy we're friends, Prince Erwen!" Sherry exclaims, letting go of the prince. "Do you have any other friends?"

(Aggron: Is Ardens within Ivy's view or just watching from a distance?)

(Right now, he's slowly walking past Ivy, listening.)

Erwen sighed at Sherry's question. "Um, yes. I had one other friend, but she was more like family."

"Aww, why do you sound sad about it, Erwen?" Sherry asks, her ears drooping with concern.

(I feel sorry for Casta. XD)

Ivy glared at the blue dragon. 'Leave him alone, I have questions for you. Did Maldius attack the city recently?'
The dragon nodded. 'Yep, he did. Horrible, ugly purple snake, he is.'
Ivy nodded again. //So he definitely wasn't in disguise when he attacked here,// she thought. 'Thanks for the info,' she said, then shoved carelessly past him and continued on through the market. //I need to talk to the king...//
As she walked by, she caught sight of another dragon lurking nearby. 'Do you mind not stalking me?' she growled at him.

{Biceras lands on a mountainside not far from Maelstrom's hiding place. She locates a rich ore vein and begins to break the rock with a heavy tool. Metallic clanging begins to reverberate throughout the area.}

Wyvrick had hoped he could learn new magic, but he wasn't unhappy with strengthening his current abilities.
"I'm ready to start!" Though he acted calm, he had a hard time hiding his enthusiasm.

"Is it sweet? It may be the mixture I made a few moments ago." Nitika said to Erebus.
She flicked her tongue out, smelling the air.

Alfred chuckled and place the full vial in its place "well that probably me OR at least this stuff" he start turning some of the gears in his arm the yellow liquid began to flow through his tubes again. He coughs and leans his head back against the tree " it's a special Rimini that my family came up with for me"

(Heads up, I have to go soon.)

{Ardens jumps in surprise at this. //What? How did she...?//"S-stalking you? I wasn't stalking, I was simply walking by when I heard the name Maldius. I just wanted to hear what happened."{He then gives Casta a scrutinizing glare.}"You two aren't from around here, are you? So, just where do you come from?"

(Ardens got caught! XD )

Erebus frowned in confusion. "Why would you need this...thing? Is it medicine?" He smelt the air again. His confusion growing more as he tried to identify the scent.

Erwen shook his head quickly. "It's nothing, don't worry." He tried to smile, hoping Sherry wouldn't pry.

'Don't play games with me!' Ivy hissed at Ardens. 'I can tell when a guy is following me. I'm not dating an ugly thing like you, so leave me alone. And if you think I'm going to tell you where I come from, you're going to be disappointed.' She stuck her nose in the air and attempted to push past Ardens.

(I feel like I'm getting payback on Ardens for all those times he picked on Crowley. B))

Sherry tilts her head and fiddles with her claws, seeming unsure whether or not she should question further.

(Sorry for disappearing for a bit! I was baking something with my sister.)

//I would be perfectly fine with that,// Maelstrom was tempted to hiss, but he knew better than to make Maldius his enemy sooner than he should. However, he still felt offended by his rebuking. "And you'd better watch your tongue. I don't want to hear you bossing me around like I'm your subordinate anymore."

Wyvrick attentively listened to Tiluna's every word. Hearing her describe magic made him tense up with excitement. He felt ready for anything.

Nitika opened her mouth as if she were about to explain, but stopped herself to allow Alfred to explain if he wanted to.
"It's a mixture of Chipi-Chipi root, Zalemaro oil, and a Tranquility Lily." She said, noticing Erebus' confused expression.

Alfred Scratching the back of his head "you can say that it's kinda like medicine ...it's what keeping me alive at least " he smiled. He places his on a section of his arm, and begins to draw out symbols they, and his arm glow and metal covers the open circuitry that was once there "TADAA!! Good as new!!" He puts another candy in his mouth

Maldius laughs. "Yes, 'your Highness!'" he says, speaking with biting sarcasm before his illusion magic causes him to disappear.

(Lilly: Yeah, but I feel like Maelstrom is going to get fed up with Maldius eventually. XD)

Erebus went over the ingredients in his head before nodding. "I see..." His talons tapped agaisnt the ground. "If you do not mind me asking, what are you two doing out here?"

Erwen thought quickly of a subject changer. "Um, how about you? Do you have any other friends?"

{//D-date me? Who is this deranged harlot?// Ardens steps aside as Ivy pushed passed him.}"We don't welcome outcasts here, just so you know."{He watches Casta intently as they pass.//Once they lose track of me again, I'll find out what they're hiding//.}

'I'm not an outcast, you fool!' Ivy shouted over her shoulder as she strode away from him. 'We have to go and see the king,' she said in a quieter tone to Casta. 'I need to tell him what I know about Maldius... but I'll talk with him first to make sure I can trust him. Are you coming?'

Sherry's ears perk up again, and she starts listing off names of everyone she's met. "... and Adrianne, and Miss Queen Pherial, and Mister Doraon, and Mister King Lennox, and Miss Noxaura, and Mister Mac, and Mister Ardens, and now you!"

( @Crowley: Actually, I had voted for Maldius to betray and kill Maelstrom. XD)

Wyvrick nodded in understanding. He carefully watched the lightning dance around Tiluna's claw.

"We're searching for someone. While we were flying, our friend here lost consciousness." Nitika looked back at Teresa with a worried expression, "We had to make an emergency landing."

(Fade: Oh dam.n, things are going to get nasty.)

"I was referring to the wingless one!"{Ardens yells out before dissappearing into the crowd.}

Alfred get up and stretches "it like Nikita said " he looks at Teresa "she just fell out of the sky...and she hasn't woke up yet"

Ivy paused and threw Casta a worried glance. 'Well, OK... if you're sure you're going to be all right here alone.' She briefly put a wing around him, then turned and slipped away towards the royal castle.

Maelstrom bit his tongue in order to keep himself from torching Maldius' smug face, but regretted holding back when the purple dragon vanished without a word. He waited in perfect silence and stillness until he was sure Maldius had left the area before huffing a cloud of thick black smoke from his nose. //Pathetic, mocking reptile...//

(I wonder how Ardens would feel if he found out Ivy tried to flirt with a rotting corpse and not with him?)

Maldius flies toward Solaris, controlling the wind to speed his flight. //I had better check there first, just to be sure...// The dark dragon surveys the land beneath him, looking for anything that could be Casta.

(Blackice Great Scott! I must try this recipe out for Devil's stew!! )

Erebus turned his head towards the unconscious dragon. "She has Aquilam's scent on her, why would two Chrysos dragons travel with one from Aquilam?"

Erwen kept a straight face while he nodded. "It seems you've been busy making friends huh?"

(Maldius: Don't put too much salt in it, I've been salted enough already!)

"Yeah! Making new friends and meeting new people is fun!" Sherry declares with glee.

( @Crowley Ardens wouldn't care. He has his own reservations regarding his relationships.)

Ivy hurried through the palace, ignoring a couple of guards who tried to ask her who she was. //I should have made Casta come with me...// she thought. //What if something happens to him?// She could hardly believe that she cared so much about the crippled little dragon when they'd only met a few hours ago. Agitation made her hasty, and before long she was standing outside the doors to the King's quarters. She thought about knocking, then decided to shout instead. 'Excuse me, is anyone there? I request an audience with King Lennox!'

Maelstrom returned to pacing, his filled with new and more numerous problems. //From the seems of it, our partnership is not going to last much longer at all, and he has not shared with me the identities of his two new allies. If I can't find a way to defeat him soon, he will become my enemy and beat me to it.//

(Alrighty, I think I'm good to leave now! I'll try to read up tomorrow if it doesn't go on for too long like it has for the past few weeks. 'XD See you all next week!)

Alfred shrugs his shoulders "why not? She need help, so I help" he smiled and moved closer to Teresa

Lennox, who had been pacing around in his quarters nonstop since the attack froze at the stranger's voice. Quickly he threw the doors open and looked down at Ivy. "What is your purpose here?"

(Salty Devil's Stew. xD)

In his mind, Wyvrick imagined how he should modify his shield to defend against fire. "So, I would need to create a more compacted shield to stop the flames?"

"I no longer belong to any tribe, and she's a close friend of mine.
I would help her, even if I were still a dragon of Chrysos." Nitika explained.

Reaching Solaris, Maldius quickly uses his Illusion magic to hide any sound he makes, and he begins searching for the little wingless dragon. //Knowing him, he's probably trying to hide somewhere...// he thinks, searching all the best hiding places he can think of.

Erebus closed his blank eyes and nodded. "It's good to hear that some dragons are showing kindness to one another again." He opened his eyes again and turned towards Nitika. "You left Chrysos...why?"

{Ardens walks by the infirmary to make sure that everyone's ok. Seeing nothing out of place, he continues on, hoping to catch up to Ivy.}

Ivy also froze as the doors flew open, but quickly recovered and sunk into a respectful bow. 'Hello, King Lennox! I am a dragon of no tribe. My name is Ivy. I came here because I have some information about your enemy, Maldius, that I think will be very helpful to you...'

( @Kole How big do you think the alley is? Big enough for Maldius to land in?)

Alfred did a mischievious smiled //I wonder if I poked her with a stick if she will wake up? // he move closer to her

Wyvrick grinned, wagging his tail a tiny bit. He felt happy that he'd pleased his teacher.

Nitika sighed, "My family was quite overbearing. They tried to control me with fear.
...I felt that I had a friend in need here, so I left."

Lennox narrowed his eyes at Ivy. "How can one trust a dragon who has information on their enemy and not expect this dragon to also be a spy for said enemy?" He shook his head and pulled out a cloth from the room behind him and wiped his mouth, red splotches clearly appearing on it. "Speak your mind quickly outcast."

Ivy bristled with annoyance, the poisonous spikes on her neck standing up straight. 'Please, Sir, I am NOT an outcast. I left my tribe of my own free will!' She paused for a moment to calm down, then smiled. 'I am also not a spy. If you must know, I met a dragon a few days ago who I believe was Maldius in disguise... And with this disguise, he could wreck havoc among your people without you ever knowing it's him.'

In his search, Maldius finally comes across the alley where Casta is pitifully trying to hide. Grinning, Maldius lands behind him and lowers his head down to whisper in the winglesss
dragon's ear, "Did you really think you could hide from me, Casta...?" The dark exile quickly grabs Casta's maw with his left paw and holds it shut with a firm grasp to prevent him from screaming.

(Maldiuuus, don't kill Casta O_O)

{Ardens stops out of sight and listens to the conversation between Ivy and Lennox.}

(Maldius: @Crowley Don't worry, I'm just trying to mentally scar him and give him nightmares. If he dies of a heart attack though... that's his fault for having a weak heart.)

Lennox's expression turned skeptical. "How would you possibly know whether or not that dragon was Maldius?"

Erebus lowered his head. "I'm sorry to hear that, it is kind of you to help your friend though."

Ivy quickly racked her brains for a way to prove the ice dragon was Maldius without giving Casta away, but knew she couldn't avoid mentioning him forever. 'I have a friend who also met Maldius - in the same disguise. I know for certain that it's him. He takes the appearance of an ice dragon named Yssarion whenever he wishes to hide his identity.' She hesitated, then added, 'Though I belong to no tribe, I want an evil creature like Maldius gone from this world. That's why I'm trying to help you.'

Grabbing Casta's stomach with his other paw, Maldius causes his magic to turn Casta invisible as well as he leaps into the air, flying in the direction of the Frozen Waste.

"I understand.
It's always a gamble...
But it's worth the work to perfect it." Wyvrick smiled.

Nitika shook her head, "I'm not that torn about it."

Lennox frowned at this information. "Maldius claimed he used, or well, followed an ice dragon by that name." He walked forward and pulled the doors closed, standing out in the hall with Ivy. "However, any information from Maldius can't be trusted without other evidence."

( @Lilly I gotcha ;) )

After flying quite a ways from the capital, Maldius releases Casta's maw and uses his free paw to hold onto Casta better. "Do you know what I'm going to do to you, Casta?" Maldius asks, looking down at the helpless dragon with a grin full of malice. He's flying high in the air-very high.

Ivy tilted her head and gave the king an appraising look. 'Well, I definitely met Yssarion, but I don't believe he truly exists. Yssarion is not a real dragon - he's just Maldius' fake identity.' She grinned. 'I suppose it's your choice whether you believe me or not, King Lennox. But I //know// the ice dragon is Maldius.'

Erebus nodded. He tilted his head towards Alfred, not certain on where he was due to his silence. "What about your friend, what's his story? I apologize for my prying, you three just seem like a strange, but interesting group."

Alfred sit next to Teresa and start poking her " princess" *pok* " princess*pok* " wake up princess it's past your beauty sleep" *pok*

Teresa blue eyes open let out a scream at Alfred startling her

Alfred falls backwards " hey it worked!"

Teresa sit up and reach for her necklace that was not there around her neck, and start packing looking around " where are we?! What happened to the dock?! Who are these dragons?!" She look at Nikita was shocked and worried

Alfred leans over to Nikita and Whispers in not much of a whisper voice "I don't think this is princess"

{Ardens just stands there, obviously eavesdropping on Ivy and Lennox.}

Lennox glared down at the green dragon and stifled a cough. "I'd be more inclined to believe you if you had more evidence or a physical witness that could vouch for you."

"Maelstrom has sentenced you to death..." Maldius says-and then lets go of Casta, letting him fall.

(He's not going to let Casta die, btw XP )

'A witness?' Ivy said sweetly. 'Then maybe my friend can help you. Would you mind if I found him and brought him here? I promise I won't be long.'

"Sure." Wyvrick stood up and started walking. His gemlike claws made an odd sound as they tapped against the stone. "So... Are you from Solaris?"

Nitika jumped at Teresa's scream.
"Teresa! Everything's ok!" Nitika tried calming Teresa down, "This is Alfred. He's helping us find Blackice."
She notioned towards Alfred.
Nitika knew that this wasn't the dragon she was with when they met Alfred.
"And this is Erebus, he's not hostile." She pointed to Erebus.

(Poor Casta :, ( I give him a hug *hug*)

Lennox's skeptical expression returned. "Oh be my guest, if you truely wish to convince me you should go find that friend of yours."

Erebus jumped slightly at Teresa's scream and then perked up at the mentioning of his name. "I can promise that I'll cause no trouble for you or your friends."

(May I hug the precious fluffy dragon child too? ;-;)

'Thank you very much, sir.' Ivy bowed one last time before turning and hurrying down the corridor, glaring at Ardens when she recognised him. Once outside the palace, she spread her wings and took flight, sweeping over the city and scanning the crowds for a hint of white scales. 'Casta!' she yelled, hoping he might hear her. 'Where on earth are you?'

(Can we all hug the white, fluffy dragon?)

But then, Casta suddenly stops falling. He didn't hit the ground, nothing's touching him, instead, he's just... floating. Casta is magically lifted back up to Maldius, the purple dragon wearing the most wicked face a creature could ever make while the pupils of his eyes glow with a mystic light. "... but I am not near as merciful as Maelstrom to simply 'kill' you, no, I am going to give you the grand tour of my fortress, specifically, my favorite room... the torture chamber!" Maldius laughs maniacally as he resumes flying, causing Casta to float alongside of himself.

Wyvrick listened to Tiluna with interest, "It's really amazing how you've learned fire and lightning magic... I imagine you know ice magic as well?"

'Where //is// that boy?' Ivy muttered to herself out loud when her overhead search of the city revealed no sign of Casta. Now worried that he had decided to leave the city alone, she quickened her pace and soared away from Solaris, glancing left and right.

(Maldius: You're adorable when you're terrified like that, Casta, I might just have to keep you as a pet.)

( @Lilly Dang. @Griff I think we'll be here.)

Teresa Breathing heavily she started to shiver trying to calm myself down She had her hand where her necklace was supposed to be.

Alfred did a friendly smile " its true we are friends , and your necklaces is right there" he pointed to the ground next to her
Teresa pick it up and held it close to her wrapping her tail around her "....i...I fell asleep again... didn't I ?"

Alfred taps Nikita "I think your aright about what we talked about her eyes are different " he said quietly

When she was nearly a kilometre from Solaris, Ivy was forced to slow down, else she'd be exhausted before long. Breath rasping out in huge heaves, she stilled her wings and glided on a thermal. Just as she was about to land in the forest and search there, she heard a shrill and terrified voice in the distance - shouting her name.
'Casta!' she yelled back without thinking, and pushed past her exhaustion to fly in the direction the voice was coming from as fast as possible.

(Lilly: Is Maldius still invisible?)

{Ardens munches on a deer leg as he watches Ivy fly off. The bird draugr from earlier next to him.}"Follow her."{He whispers to the bird and it takes flight, keeping a safe distance from Ivy.}

( @Crowley Hmm, I'd say so.)

Nitika sighed, "We should just play along for now. She's already so shaken up..." She muttered to Alfred so Teresa couldn't hear.
She cleared her throat, "Yes, you... Fell asleep." She choked on her words, feeling awful about lying to the poor dragon. "We flew up above the forest when you fell, and Alfred here saved us both.
Are you hurt? You were out for quite a while..."
Nitika sat down next to Teresa.

Ivy continued to follow the sound of Casta's screaming in the distance. As the noise grew louder, she looked around in confusion, not seeing any sign of him anywhere. 'Casta. Where are. You?' she shouted between gasps of breath.

(I need to brb too, not sure how long I'll be, though. It might be a while :/ )

(If I suddenly disappear, it's because my dad turned our wifi off without telling me)

(Aw, bye Lilly. :/ I can't continue what Ivy is doing without Maldius, so I'll just hang around.)

(Kole: I definitely need to draw Ivy and Casta together now. X))

I think I'm gonna go now guys. It looks like nothing much is going on and I can't continue without Lilly. But I really want to continue where we left off with Ivy, Maldius and Casta next week.)

Teresa coming down a little she nervously fidgeting with her necklace "I..I think I'm ok...I don't remember flying" she shakes her head, and then looks at Alfred " th..thank you..for saving us " she looks to Nikita "i..i.. don't remember...sorry...I just don't..."

Alfred sit next to the girls and puts a candy in his mouth "don't worry about it to much, I'm sure it will come to you, but worrying getting you no were, what important is you're alive and okay" he smiled and offered the girls some candy
Teresa hesitant took one

"I'm happy you're ok. I was really worried..." Nitika smiled at Teresa, "The candy is really good, by the way." Nitika accepted the piece Alfred offered her and ate it. "It's like honey!"

Wyvrick chuckled, "Maybe. They always told me stories about dragons like me who infused gems with their magic. They tried to convince me that I was one of them when I was a dragonet." He snorted, "Silly fairytales."

Teresa look at Nikita and then at the candy she put it in her mouth and smiled "it is good! "

Alfred "I'm glad you like it! " he offered some more to them

Wyvrick looked off in the direction of Solaris. It seemed to be miles away now, but it would be quick to fly there. "The view from mountains is beautiful, isn't it? I come here all the time."

Adrianne stand silently

"Yep, we are!" Sherry says, beaming. "What'cha been up to, Mister Ardens?"

"Not much, little one. Just ran a few errands and got some lunch. I don't believe you ever introduced me to your mechanical bodyguard here."{He motions towards Adrianne with the bone.}"What's her story?"

Sherry looks at Adrianne before quickly turning back to Ardens. "Oh, she's Adrianne! She's been taking care of me ever since my mom and dad went missing."

{Ardens picks his head up and drops his smile.}"Missing? What do you mean?"

(Oh boy @Aggron XD you going make her talk?)

Adrianne adjusted her goggles on her head "I'm one of the blacksmith of Chrysos, and care taker of miss sunny here " she pat Sherry on the head

Sherry looks down at her hands, tilting her head slightly. "Well, I, um... I don't really know. I just remember going to sleep one night like always, and Mom and Dad were there with me, and then the next time I woke up I was in front of Adrianne's shop. No one ever saw Mom or Dad ever again after that," the little dragonet explains, fidgeting with her fingers.

{Ardens gives a look of surprise, then turns to Adrianne with suspicion.}"So........you just woke up one morning and this dragon here took you in? No note, or explanation at all?"

( @Shadow Yes, Ardens believes that information is power.)

"Mhm," Sherry nods.

Adrianne look at Sherry "she was just there one day when I opened my shop...I couldn't just leave her there, I still Wonder what happened or why... maybe it's because I have a reputation ...or I should say my family dose of helping dragon with... needs"

(That moment when you realize that the dragon I have that are Chrysos have good family background, and my Aquilam dragon all have crappie backgrounds family :p )

( @Shadow Haha, Aquilam is the worst place to grow up, I guess XD )

{Ardens lowers his head to Sherry's level.}"That's quite unfortunate. Wherever your parents are, I'm sure they miss you as much as you miss them."{He then turns to Adrianne.}"That's very kind of you to take in this one when no one else would."

{Ardens then shakes his head in a dismissal fasion.}"But, enough of that. How are you two enjoying the lands of Aquilam?"

"Mhm..." Sherry whimpers, sniffling a little while not looking at Ardens.

Adrianne puffed up with pride " I couldn't call myself a Grey-spine if I didn't"

(Grey - spine is her family name )

"Oh.. I like Aquilam a lot. I'm glad Mister King Lennox let me come. It's really pretty up here," Sherry replies, and looks up at Ardens with a faint smile.

Adrianne just let Sherry talk

( @Shadow Of course Aquilam parents suck! They're all cold and grumpy! XD){Ardens notices Sherry's meloncholy attitude and decides to do something about it.}"I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying yourselves here."{Ardens leans in towards Sherry}"Do you know what the best thing about Aquilam is, little one?"

Sherry's eyes widen with curiousity. "What is it? What is it, Mister Ardens?"

Adrianne did a small amused chuckle

Sherry rubs her eyes, absolutely fascinated by the jewel. "Wow! That's so pretty! I didn't know you had maigc!" Sherry reaches out and touches the gem at first, as if afraid the ruby will disappear from her touch, and then she holds it in her hands delicately. "This is so amazing!"

{Ardens smiles at Sherry and pats her head.}"I thought that might cheer you up. I'm glad you like it. I found that gem deep within a dark cavern by a bottomless crevase. Take good care of it for me, will you?"

Sherry beams up at Ardens. "I will, I promise!" She then reaches for her bag, and finding an empty pocket, places the ruby safely inside before hugging Ardens. "Thank you so much, Mister Ardens!"
