Left Out Info by GalaxyTheWolf

#SoledormirsKeys
Ok, I left some things out of the info because this is my first rp here. And with a storyline at that. I wasn't sure how she and I would 'Fit in' So everything I left out is here. If there is anything else ya'll want to know that I didn't put in, feel free to ask!
Edit from July 6th, 2017: Well, you might be wondering what happened here, I'll tell you. I came back here one day and was reading through the backstory thing, It was nice, but I couldn't help but to cringe. Literally. So I decided to rewrite it and fix some things I've been meaning to fix. I'm happier with the rewritten version and it adds in everything I wanted to change. (You just have to find it. >:} (but it's not hard..) )
A Cookie and High-Five to you!

The left out info:
(Reritten)
Crystal's life growing up wasn't bad, just lonely. It was her and her parents. As a kid she was able to sometimes go out and do things. But as she grew up, her parents had to keep her very hidden. Due to her magic, from the age of ten she couldn't even leave her home. She did everything at home. School, magic and training. She's always been on the quiet side, but being hidden from everything and her parents fear of her being taken by the Ruler of their land, she started to have a deep fear of everything, and everyone. The only people she trusted were her parents and a friend she made later on. Crystal has trust problems, everything she heard about people always ended in "But don't ever let your wall down, it will have a price" She always reminded herself of that. The friend she made was really there to help her train with a sword. And even though Crystal never let her wall down, they had became friends anyway. Just goes to show that being with the right people you don't have to let your weapons down, that they will be part of them.

You see, the scar on her cheek, thats from sword training. The scar happens to be a painfull reminder of the day it all went down hill. But also a way for to her to feel closer to home. This is where everything took a turn for the worst and Crystals world was turned upside down..

Backstory leading up to the beginning of the Roleplay:
Too easily moving aside from her friends jab, Crystal raised an eyebrow. "Whats up? don't tell me you're tired. It's only just started to get good." Her friend gave a weak half-hearted chuckle of a reply as he blocked a swing from his opponent. "Dont worry about me, focus on the swords or I'll keep being able to block your moves." The swordplay went on until he went a little higher with his swing and Crystal didn't move fast enough. She flinched suddenly and dropped her sword, her hand brushed her face to feel blood running down her right cheek. Dropping his sword also, Crystal's friend rushed over. He looked at the cut then tried to carefully wipe away some of the blood. "I'm so sorry..." He said. She shook her head, "I'll be okay, it's not my first cut" She looked up at her friend, his expression full of concern and guilt. "Are you okay? You seem distracted.." She knew when her friend wasn't okay, he had a recognizable look of stress and worry that anyone could see. "Is it because of..?" Her friend looked down at her for a moment then let out a sigh. "Yes.." He answered quietly. "I'm scared, Crystal, I don't want to go.. Is it selfish of me to feel this way?" Crystal gave a small reassuring smile, trying to keep herself together and not seem as worried as she really was, but she felt herself slipping. "It's not selfish at all. You're scared of what could happen and that's perfectly okay. Maybe there's a way you could just.. not go?" He shook his head, "My name's on the list, when they call for me and I'm not there, they will either come find me, or just go right to threatening my family thinking they are hiding me.. I-" Crystal couldn't keep it together anymore, she wrapped her arms around her friends neck and buried her face in his sholder. He didn't finish what he was saying and just put his arms around her in return and didn't speak for a couple minutes. "Crystal..?" He said, now not as concerned about himself as he was for her. He felt her shaking and hugged her tighter. "I don't want to lose the only friend I have.. I don't want to lose my parents.." She said so quietly it was barely there, "What if you don't come back?" Her friend was now trying to keep back his own tears. "I try to not think about that part.." Though he thought about it everyday since being told he had to go to fight. "How about we go inside? You've had a long day and we should get that cut cleaned." It took a moment but Crystal let go, her friend lead her inside and helped with the cut.

They all had dinner together that night and talked about anything and everything to keep the mood up. They talked about the happy memories they all had of each other and things they had done, but there was still a heavy feeling over everyone. Afterwards it was late and Crystals friend got ready to leave, they said a goodbye and hugged one last time. Both of them broke down when the closed door separated them for what could possibly be the last time. The rest of the night Crystal spent with her parents until they all went to bed. Then the next day she had to say goodbye to them also. But just before leaving, her mom told her something.. "Whatever happens in the next few days, don't be afraid to go on and live. I know you're scared of the world and those in it, but your father and I only wanted you to be aware of what it was like. You're strong and brave when it comes time to be, you know how to take care of yourself, you're smart and I know you can keep yourself safe. You may have a small voice, but also such a big heart, I know you will do just fine." They left and when the door closed, Crystal felt she was already crumbling. She was alone.

The days of the war were a blur to Crystal, she spent the time hidding. All the windows were closed with curtains covering them and the doors were locked. It was dark inside even during the day. Not once did Crystal leave her home.
After it was said and done it seemed the good side won against the threat, but not without the loss of lives. Many were injured and many more killed. The threat was the Ruler of the land. He wasn't a good man and wanted to get rid of many people. More than he already had.

There were a few people, including some of the lands official army, who wanted him to see his end, they built their own army and declared a war. Most of this was unknown to Crystal. She was never told why or how this came up.

She had counted a total of one week. Every night when she tried to sleep her mind played movies with different ways her family dies. She didn't get much sleep, she couldn't take those nightmares and would stay up all night and keep busy the best she could to try and not think about them. From cleaning to singing to reading books upon books until she gave herself a headache, anything to keep from seeing her worst thoughts. She would eventually fall asleep, practically passing out from exhaustion, but not for long until she would wake up again for the same reason. She'd sit and watch the hands of the clock tic by, silent tears running down her face, just waiting for time to go by. She was giving up hope she would see her family after this. She really gave up when day seven came around.

On day seven, a knock at the door filled the silence. Crystal, hoping for the best, rushed to it and opened the door without checking first. Suddenly aware of the mistake she made, Crystal both froze up and broke down. One of the official army men of the land stood just outside the door holding a note. "I'm sorry to bother you in such a dark time, but we are trying to find the relatives of the deceased and we need you to come with us." He said, gesturing to a carriage not too far away. Crystal hesitantly agreed, she told the man at the door to wait for a minute then walked away and straped on a belt with a dagger attached to it and hid it under her shirt. She didn't know what could happen, but she wanted to feel she had someway to protect herself. Even if she didn't like the idea of actually needing it. Crystal glanced around the room and her eyes landed on her Bow. She quickly grabbed it and her arrows and walked back to the door. The man looked at her funny when she returned, "Miss, the reason for the Bow and arrows?" Crystal nodded, an excuse at the ready. "I plan on catching some dinner after I return home, I want to do it as early as possible and stopping home to grab my things would take up time I could use.." It honestly seemed like he didn't care, but the man nodded then lead her to the carriage, which took them to just outside the main building of the land. The house of the Ruler. There were dead bodies on the ground with their last names wrote on small signs beside them. Many heartbroke people sat with their dead family members, silently crying and trying to clean the dirt from their faces. The whole area was filled with a heavy sadness. As the man lead Crystal to the building, she scanned the signs and bodies for her family and friend, but didn't see the names or their faces. She wondered why they weren't there, unless they were lost in battle or too badly injured for them to show. "Where's my family?" Crystal whispered, the man glanced to her as they walked in the building and down a long hall. "There were a lot of lives lost, I'm sure they are out there. I will help you find them once we are done.." Walking down the hall, it felt they were going downward. "Once we are done with what? I'd like to know what I'm doing here." The man seemed to care less and less about Crystal as the headed down to where they were going. His face went from being kind and concerned to cold and mean all too quickly. He opened an odd looking door and shoved Crystal through it. "Hey-!" She started but got cut off. "Don't bother, I'm not going to listen to you. I'm only doing what I was told to do." He closed and locked the door, turning to face down the hall, "Now keep walking, Sir is waiting." Crystal didn't try to talk anymore and followed the instructions given. Eventually, the hall turned into a cold stone cave. There were torches lit and set in brackets on the walls, an impossible pond in the middle of the stone floor, and a tall, stern faced man in a plain robe just on the other side of the cave. The man who brought Crystal here pushed her forward, closer to the other man then backed away. The man in the robe settled his gaze on her. It made Crystal uncomfortable. "Welcome young miss, how are you?" Crystal didn't reply, she stayed quiet. "Okay, I see you're not one for talking.. Then we can skip the small talk and get to the point. Do you know who I am?" Crystal nodded, she knew exactly who this man was. "Good, then I assume your parents told you about what I like to do?" Crystal nodded again, "You hate my kind, you like to kill us for your amusement.." She said. A sinister smile then warped the fake one the man had. "Perfect. That's exactly it. But sadly, that's not going to be how this goes today."

Crystal felt panic rise in her chest, "Where is my family?" She asked, her eyes glaring at the Ruler. "They're around, don't worry they won't be fine. Same for that little friend or yours." He slowly approached Crystal and lead her over closer to the pond. "What to you see?" The Ruler asked, pushing her foreword slightly. "I see water.. Now, let me go!" Crystal said then tried to get away, but the Ruler caught her and wouldn't let her go. He rapped his arms around her from behind and brought her back to the edge of the pond. "You see, I'd kill you.." He whispered in Crystals ear, sending chills down her back and heart pounding, "But there is other plans for the weak and pathetic girl you are.. Anything you want to say?"

Crystal couldn't even force herself to speak at this point. Tears began rolling down her face and with her body completely frozen with fear, she managed to weakly shake her head. A chuckle rumbled from the Ruler, "I'll tell your family you said goodbye. You won't be getting back so don't waste time trying to. It's a one way ticket." Crystal tried to get away, but the Rulers hold only got tighter. "I hope you have a wonderful time.." He then pushed Crystal into the water. But as she went in, it wasn't water at all, she went right through the surface without feeling anything. The only thing she felt was her falling and hitting the ground. She opened her eyes, her vision blurred. Once it cleared, she looked around, she had no idea where she was, but she knew she wasn't in her home land. She sat up, fighting back tears. Of everything that just happened, there was only one thing going through her head. "He has them held captive.." She mumbled, pulling her knees to her chest. Crystal was lost, alone and now going to be tortured with endless thoughts of the pain her family would face.

She buried her face in her knees and just let herself fall apart yet again.
