the shading for this is really friggen awesome!
the eyes and apple have a nice glowiness too! :D

i think the mixing of shading styles makes this a unique painting!! not to mention you totally aced that shading towards the bottom where the apple is woahhh
it made me think that i could kinda learn how to shade better from this!
also, the background might be plain but it adds more emphasis on the character, so for something like a new character i think it fits
overall this is a wonderful painting and i can't really find any bad points to it~

Ok, so, The shading in the pic is rEALLY AWESOME but maybe you could have add a little more to the hair, maybe more light to each part of the hair? The apple is amazing omg and we can see that you add alot of detail, like on the leaf. The little open mouth *not sure of the word omg* make this really cute , even for this there is detail :Oc
and last one is the right eye,*they are very detail and nice oly shet* but maybe change the place just a little

Okay here lemmie give it a shot.
The face and the apple are flawless. No need for any fix em' ups right there. The shading on the skin, apple and clothes are perfect as well.
However when I get to the hair, it's sort of lacking compared to the rest. Like it doesn't have very much air brush hues to it. So it looks uncomplete compared to the rest of the body. The ears looks fine though the could use a little more brush on the the inside.
As for the background I can't really say much since it's just a blue violet.
The contrast between the apple and the face has to be my favorite part. The shading on that is fantastic
Overall, I really enjoy the finish looking parts while the "unfinshed parts" just need a little more hues or shadows. In conclusion, I think it's very well done!
