This is beautiful thus far! ^-^ The clouds and footprints are coming along nicely. The texture of realistic sand can be difficult to portray sometimes, but it helps to know that it often looks and feels grittier the further away it is from shore, though texture can also vary with the age of the beach. You could observe the photo reference even more carefully as well regarding finer details.

And I'm so sorry I haven't been active... XC There are so many wonderful people here. I've been struggling a bit with anxiety, fatigue and insomnia. I'm finally starting to get decent sleep and am slowly feeling much better. Because of this much-needed hiatus I've had a lot of time to think,pray and truly enjoy life and the company of my family (we're going to travel a bit as well soon), something I realize I haven't really done since I was a younger child, when modern life wasn't as fast-paced. I'll truly come back here soon. For now I'll probably drop in occasionally to check up on things and whenever I feel up to creating digital art. While I'm at it, I want to thank you formally for always being such a good friend for...over 2 years now. :O Love ya, cetacean sis! CX You're in my thoughts and prayers.

Whaley-I'm gonna have to look closer to polish it up. The calendar is on the wall above my laptop while I lay on my bed to draw. It's why I didn't even start the vegetation yet
