Style critiques 2.0 by Inkbrush

It's that time again folks!
Really I'm just trying to see what works, what can change, and overall what can change about my art/artstyle/writing/whatever.
Critiques are appreciated!

I think your style is very unique, and there's not really any advice I could give that would necessarily improve it. If you want to try something different, however, you can try to use the softer brush when drawing the outlines for a thinner stroke. Personally, I think the thicker outlines work great with your style, but it's always a good idea to experiment from time to time.

Critique, eh? Alright, here goes.
I've always found the eyes you draw to be rather large, covering up a little too much of the face. Maybe shrink 'em a little bit, make 'em less tall; that way, your characters can have a little more forehead. I did the same thing myself, but more with the nose instead of the eyes. I adjusted my sizes and altered my positioning, and was quite satisfied with the end result!
Anyway, that's my critique.

I agree with Jon, if you want a more realistic style

HOWEVER I believe you shouldn't stop drawing them the way you have if you are purposely drawing a cartoon style, because that was one of the charms that made me like the way you draw. It's not just big eyes, it's the way you do it with the rest of your style. It just clicks. That's my opinion.

Though, I love your style like with "ayyy", it's like the style I went with (semi-dot eyes, squarish-round head, small body, etc) but REALLY cute and fun.

Beside detail to color and backgrounds (and backward hands), your style is amazing as it is imo :D But if you want to do realistic styles, too, I would say practice would be needed, yes.

Hm, Gills is right. I suppose it all comes down to the style you're aiming for. Plus, I must agree that I am also quite fond of your chibi style!
But definitely work on those backwards hands. I remember when Witzke used to do that; he did it quite often, actually. But hey, look where he's at now! All it takes is a little anatomy practice and you'll be drawing forward hands every time!

Honestly, I enjoy your unique style at the moment. However, it's always fun to experiment and try new things that could potentially be more rewarding/fun for an artist. Overall I think you could benefit from spending more time on backgrounds and trying to add some variety (head shape/body figure) in your characters whilst retaining the classic Inky motif.

Honestly, I love your art style. I think it's great. I've never seen anything like it. It's got a simple style, yet, it has that feeling like you still take your time with it. I love it, and I think you're going on a good path. However, change is never bad, but my opinion, is I like your art style a lot. : )
