They can usually be found in forests or mountains, if they are seen in other areas that usually means they are moving to find a different territory.
They can only be males, their maximum lifespan can be atleast 500 years.
The way they are "born" is special, years of the light of a fullmoon is focused on different stones/jewels/crystals like diamonds or emeralds and such.. and after enough time these creatures are born.

They can survive on almost anything, but once every fullmoon they have to eat atleast 1 of the stone they where born from, if they don't they'll die.
They are very teritorial, so if one crosses paths with another they will start fighting. The fight can result in deaths.
