Thunder rumbles in the sky. The storm grows stronger. Bloody tears stream from Crystal's eyes as her father crumbles to dust-his draugr murdered by her older brother. "Why would you do that, Big Brother?! That was Papa...!"

The dark dragon, Maldius, turns to look at her, his yellow eyes merciless and cold. "I don't know why you keep going on about 'Big Brother'..." He grabs the undead dragonet by the throat viciously, "But it's starting to get annoying!"

(Gtg for a bit, @Lilly just pretend The Necromancer's watching all of this.)

After the mind-altering encounter with his mother's draugr, Erwen quickly began flying towards Solaris. He didn't want to be anywhere near that forest for a good while and now he needed to find his father.

Back in Aquilam, Crowley was slowly beginning to wake up in his cave after a few hours' sleep. He yawned hugely, stretched and staggered to his feet, the slight ache in his shoulder reminding him that he ought to be careful.
//Careful, careful, when am I ever careful?// he grumbled. //And since when did I listen to anyone's orders?// Taking flight, he swooped out of his cave and headed over the city.

Gemini look towards Nitika her ears lifted a little //it's is true Teresa see Nitika as a friend...but that friendship is for them....im only a thief who steals time...// she thought to herself. she tilted her head when Nitika said she was an ex-Chrysos dragon now //is it becuse she helping Teresa? or because of something else?...// she was in deep thought.

Alfred held is balance ac Nikita look down at the forest. "Ohhh! so you 2 meet in the forest! that cool!! well maybe green because trees are green! so that so GREEN!...ahh It needs work. he smiled " Nikita your a ex-Chrysos like was Chrysos but now not?" he tilted his head curiously

Erwen landed at the market place and began walking towards the palace. Once dragons noticed his presence they began clearing way for him. The young prince silently walked by with his head held high, as expected from royalty.

"Yeah." Nitika said, "My... Acquaintances were very... Overbearing... I guess.
So I left."
She looked to the side awkwardly, "It's no big deal... I like it much better here anyways!" She smiled, seeming to hide something.

Crowley swept high over the marketplace and caught a glimpse of Erwen walking below. He briefly considered calling out to the prince, but remembered in the nick of time that their alliance was supposed to be a secret. //I'll catch up with him later,// he thought, and contented himself with watching the prince from a safe distance.

Maldius considers strangling the little dragonet, but then a grin slowly creeps across his maw as another idea comes to mind. He gently puts his sister down. "Hmmm... If I killed you right now, I'd have nothing to do later. Would you care to play a game, little dragonet?"

Crystal trembles, the rain washing the blood tears away. "W-what kind of game...?"

"How about... tag. Only, we'll play it my way. You like tag, don't you?" The dark dragon's voice drips with malicious intent.

Crystal whimpers quietly. "Yeah, I like tag... but what do you mean by 'your way?'"

"I'll give you to the count of... let's say five, to start running, then, when I'm done counting, I'll chase after you. When I catch you, I'll rip your toes off one at a time and shove them down your throat before tearing you in half. That sounds fun, doesn't it?"

(Hey @Cheese! Glad you could make it!)

(CHILL MALDIUS)

Erwen glanced around at the dragons bustling around doing their daily tasks. He noticed Crowley flying by in the corner of his vision but chose to ignore him. //I'll deal with the troublemakers quietly another time.// He thought to himself. Quickly he picked up his pace and flew up to the palace's enterance.

(Oh my goodness Maldius o.o )

(Back! gimmie a sec to catch up.)

Seeing that Erwen was heading for the palace, Crowley settled on a nearby rooftop, curling his claws around the edges of the tiles to keep his balance. He'd wait for the prince to reappear, then go talk to him.

{The Necromancer watches, angrily, cursing Maldius under his breath. //She won't be able to outrun him. Even as as a draugr, her legs are too short. But, maybe she can slip away into the undergrowth.//}

After entering Erwen asked a few guards on the whereabouts of the king. Eventually he found his father in his study. Erwen stood tall and dipped his head down is respect. "Father, there are things we need to discuss."
King Lennox, startled by Erwen's sudden appearance, quickly threw some papers and cloth over the object he was observing and turned to face his son.

(Welp, Arrow's dead. :/)

(Things went from 0 to 100 real fast)

(Sorry, I secretly brb'ed for some New York ice cream. Perry's is the best.)

Crystal yelps and jumps away from her brother. "No! I don't want to do that! That sounds scary... please, I don't want to, Big Bro-"

"Hahahaha!" the Exile laughs darkly, "I knew you'd agree. Oh yes, one last thing, don't bother trying to hide, if I can't find you, I'll burn the whole forest to the ground... ignoring the consequences. Now..." he lowers his head to look directly into Crystal's eyes, "Run for your life."

The undead dragonet screams and runs as fast as her little legs can carry her. Maldius grins sadistically before covering his eyes with his left paw.
"One...

Three..."

Erwen looked at his father with a suspicious look. "What was that?" Lennox shook his head, disregarding the question. "It doesn't matter right now, what did you come here for Erwen?" Erwen held his look for a moment before sighing in defeat. "I'm tired of fighting you father."

Nitika looked back at Gemini, "Well, not exactly.
Someone helped me see the truth.
I would've been stuck back at home if I hadn't met him."
A look of anger appeared on her face for just a moment. "Back at home, they threatened to exile me if I didn't obey them."

"Four...
FIVE!"

Maldius uncovers his eyes and searches for the figure of a fleeing dragonet. Seeing only an ash pile a little ways away, his grin changes to a frown. The demonic dragon marches toward the ashes and glares at them. "... How utterly disappointing. I was truly looking forward to killing you. Now what do you expect me to do?"

Zygoren and Crystal's spirits reappear near the Necromancer. Crystal is crying hysterically while her father attempts to comfort her. "... Thank you for releasing my daughter before... //he// got to her, Necromancer..." Zygoren says, looking rather shaken by the experience, as well.

{The Necromancer nods a Zygoren and motions for the two spirits to follow him. He becomes a black smoke-like mass and moves silently away from Maldius' location. After they get well out of earshot, the Necromancer begins to speak.}"Tell me everything you know, Zygoren. I want to know who he was, how he became this monster, the nature of his curse, any and all strengths, weaknesses, attack patterns, known aliases, everything. Your son or not, I'm putting that creature down!"

Lennox looked down at Erwen in surprise. "This isn't like you, to have a sudden change of heart." Erwen shook out his feathers and sat by one of his father's many piles of books. "All I'll say father is that I finally had some sense knocked into me." He looked at Lennox intently. "We both want what's best for the tribe, it's best we start thinking together instead of arguing."

(Somewhere, Avatil tents her claws together while grinning. Avatil:"Excellent." >:) )

Gemini "thats good you had someone help you out of that situation...so you whet ex-Chrysos befor they exile you?"

Alfred put his one good hand up to his chin in a thinking possession "hmmm..."

Gemini noticed Alfred thinking "what 's with the face, is using your brain that much work of you?"

Alfred "excuse me princess. I was just thinking of something"

Gemini "a dangerous pass time for you, im sure" she wobbled in the air

Alfred sticks out his tongue at her

{From the darkness, a horse draugr walks from the treeline and into the clearing where Arrowstone just left. it inspects the ash pile and then looks up at Arrowstone flying in the distance. It snorts, then walks back into the forest.}

Crowley tapped his claws against the roof he was sitting on, lazily watching the dragons going about their business in the market.

Nitika giggled at the two of them, "You two are cute." She said.
She then cleared her throat,
"Yes, I didn't want them to exile me to some faraway island of death."

(So, I probably won't have time to roleplay at all. I don't want to get involved in something and then abruptly leave, so I'll just observe.)

Zygoren nods mournfully. "I understand... I will tell you everything I know. When he was still an egg, I was approached by a dragon named Fayveer, who said he had orders from the King himself to use an egg for some sort of 'experiment' that would supposedly end the war that was raging at that time. He pressured me into handing over my egg, saying he could sense the potential in my child, and I, reluctantly, agreed. I was present the night he hatched. When I questioned why my son was unusually purple, I was informed that a ritual of some sort had been performed, granting him unimaginable power. I was prohibited from ever seeing him during his early childhood, but after years of constant begging, I was allowed to meet him. I found him alone, crying, and he warned me to stay away from him, for apparently he had killed a fellow dragonet in his training that day. As I comforted him, he explained to me that he wasn't sure why he had killed the dragonet, which made me suspect he was cursed."

Lennox's expression slowly shifted back to a neutral expression. He seemed out of focus for a moment before turning his gaze back upon Erwen. "You spoke to her, didn't you?" Erwen froze before nodding slightly. "She doesn't want to see a war that'll destroy the tribes." Erwen rose his head to look at his father in the eyes. "And neither do I."

( @Lilly Ok.){The Necromancer listens carefully to every detail.}

Crowley sat up a little and watched with some interest as Arrowstone and the unfamiliar light-spirit creature soared past his rooftop. //Arrowstone's the weirdo who rotted stuff by touching it, right?//

(Cheese: I'd like to see it! I'm assuming Arrow doesn't look so different that Crowley can't recognise him)

"He wasn't like anything he is now. I was able to observe him from far away in between his training sessions, and I could see that he was kind, he always stood up for his friends, and he seemed to hate even the thought of violence. Fearing for my child, I broke the order for me to stay away and I tried to learn as much as I could about what they were doing with him. I learned that my son has control of all elemental magic, only his magic is purple in color, and he seems weak to paralysis, poisons, gravitational magic and telekinesis, and dark magic-yes, the same as you use. It would appear that elemental magic is ineffective against him, as his body is strongly resiliant." Zygoren pauses a moment. "One night, I tried to steal him and his sister away, and flee from Aquilam... but I was caught... my daughter and I were killed while Maldius was taken back to Aquilam... I assume that the continual use of his power is what made his curse stronger, turning him into the monster he is today.."

(Suddenly Apple Mart Dragon made me wonder if dragons have a Wal-Mart.)

{//Poisons, Paralysis, Gravity, Telekenesis, and Dark magic. Of the five, two options are within my grasp. Unfortunately, they both require physical contact of some kind, and getting close won't be easy.// The Necromancer continues to listen in silence.}

"I'm unaware of any aliases he might be using. Perhaps light magic might be effective against him as well, if he truly is cursed. I've heard he has mastered illusion magic, as well." Zygoren goes quiet again, before pleading, "Necromancer... is there anything that could be done for him, to bring him out of his madness? Or... is he so far gone, there's nothing to be done to aid him...?"

Lennox narrowed his eyes. "You're acting like peace was your idea. Last time I recalled just yesterday you were trying to create a rebellion." Erwen huffed in annoyance. "I'm finished with all of that...I want to help you!" Erwen slammed his tail onto the floor, with a sudden burst of energy everything in the study was lifted into the air then dropped. Lennox glared at his son seeing the mess he had just created.

Maldius glares at nothing in particular, thinking about what's left for him to do. He doesn't really wany to go back to Maelstrom after the idiot had the nerve to insult him. "............................................
Welp, I suppose I might as well see how Lennox is doing. It's still early morning, but he might be awake." Turning invisible and using his magic to muffle all noise he makes, Maldius begins flying toward Solaris.

Gemini face went red "ar... nh.." // use cute?! He a big idiot! And clussy, annoying, and silly// she had a small smile at that last thought //silly... he's obnoxious!// she slow a little
Alfred " I don't believe they can do that to you...., and they can't do it legally ether there are certain procedures, so unless if they have some sort of clout..."

Gemini " wow! you do have a brain up there"

Crowley's gaze drifted from Arrowstone as he spotted a small winged shape in the sky. It was far away, but seemed to be rapidly getting closer. He smirked a little. //Wonder who's away from the city so early in the morning?//

{The Necromancer closes his eyes.}"I am uncertain. I have seen curses that warp the mind and increase the power of the afflicted, but the ones that I have seen twist the user's form far worse than Maldius' appearance. Whatever he has, it seems experimental. I'll have to get a hand on him to know for sure."{The Necromancer re-opens his eyes and looks directly at Zygoren.}"But after all he's done, why attempt to spare him? He's far too dangerous! If I get the chance, I'm ending him once and for all! You said that the king ordered that this experiment be carried out. Was it Lennox's doing?"

Nitika sat back a little.
She felt silly now, thinking about how she'd been told she'd be exiled.
"...So... It was fake...? Or are they so cruel that they would do something illegal to be rid of me?"
She lowered her head, "Ugh, I'm so confused. I wish I would've known this earlier!" She growled.

"Dangerous and mad as he is, he's still my child... were he in his right mind, he would be horrified by his deeds, I am certain of it. If Lennox truly did order for the experiment, I doubt he was informed what was truly occuring. Perhaps Lennox never ordered it at all, and it was a lie to con me into giving up my son." Zygoren replies.

"You need to learn to control your magic Erwen." Lennox sighed and began organizing the fallen objects near him. Erwen growled something under his breath and looked over at the object his father had been hiding, it was uncovered now. Erwen was confused on why his father tried to hide it, it was simply and ancient looking book with the numeral one imprinted on it's cover.

{The Necromancer clenches his fist in anger.}"You don't know that. It might not be the curse warping his mind at all! He could have simply gone mad with power! And if I find out that Lennox ordered those experiments, well, he'll join Maldius on the ash pile!"{The Necromancer begins to walk into the forest, expecting Zygoren to follow.}"........But......if he does show that his behavior is soley frome the curse......only then will I consider sparing him."

( @Griff Oh, that thieving bird! That's where Nox's book went!)

Maldius lands as close to the king's chamber as possible, his magic perfectly hiding any trace of his presence. He begins carefully making his way to the throne room, noting how things have changed since the time of his exile.

(Ooooooh, I wonder what Lennox is doing with that. Is that what made him sick, or is he trying to cure himself?)

Lennox turned and quickly grabbed the book, wrapping it in cloth in the process. "Do not touch this." He kept the book far from Erwen's reach in case he tried to go after it. Erwen glared at Lennox. "Father, what is that?"

(Allll in due time children.)

Zygoren sighs. "I understand..." Both he and his daughter begin following Ardens. "What do you plan to do mow, Necromancer?"

A green dragon swept downwards to land in the middle of the Solaris market. A few passers-by gave her odd glances and one or two even showed their teeth aggressively, but none moved to attack her.
Crowley grinned and leapt down from his roof to land in front of the green dragon. 'I've seen you somewhere before. You're that freak who tried to hit on me a few years ago.'
Ivy swelled up in rage at the insult.

Maldius enters the throne room and quietly observes Lennox and Erwen from a corner of the chamber.

{The Necromancer phases through a magic stone wall and into the winding catacomb tunnels that lie under Lecra.}"First, I need to see how my messengers did in their tasks. Then, I need to send Thesseus on a little errand."{The Necromancer arrives at a cavernous crypt. Standing in the light of a bioluminescent mass of fungi growing on the ceiling are Avatil, Thesseus[the cloaked draugr], and a horse draugr. At their feet lies a human corpse. The Necromancer binds Drailen's soul to this vessel, and then adresses Avatil.}"You first, your Highness, how did it go with Erwen?"

Alfred "I do have my moments " he smiled and look in her directions of Gemini
Gemini in thought // would I be exiled if someone found out about me? No it would be Teresa would get the blame...//

Alfred he look straight ahead "that would depend on them, and why they would try threaten you, if they have something to stand on or not."

Gemini raised her eyebrows " you seem to know a lot about this topic?"
Alfred "I had a LOT of time to read up on things " he smiled

Lennox sighed. "It's a very dangerous book, I found it years ago...I've been trying to destroy it." Erwen tilted his head in confusion. "How could a book be dangerous?" Lennox held the bundle close to him. "Someone uncovered it, which means the other ones are out there." Erwen growled waiting for his question to be answered.

Ivy set a quick pace through the market, forcing Crowley to jog in pursuit. 'First off, I am NOT a freak!' she complained. 'I am a beautiful dragon with a beautiful name! Secondly, I wasn't hitting on you. Why would I WANT to, you ugly parrot?'
Crowley snickered. 'You talk way too much. I'm not being seen with you.' He jumped back onto the rooftop, leaving Ivy alone and fuming.

{Avatil speaks up.}"Very well. I convinced him to drop his hatred towards Chrysos and patch things up with his father."{Avatil's expression changed to one of grief.}"Although, I learned a terrible truth. Lennox is sick. He did not say with what, only that it was very serious. He may join us very soon."{The Necromancer nods.}"I see. That's good news regarding Erwen. However, I'm sorry about Lennox. When this is all over, you will rejoin him in peace. Or, if we fail, we'll all be trapped here until history repeats itself once again."

//A dangerous book? How curious,// Maldius ponders, noting the dark vibe he can sense from it. //Hmm... it's similar to the book Noxaura had... perhaps she stole it from Lennox-or he stole it from her.//

(I what to go home T.T I hate running around )

Lennox rolled his eyes at Erwen's behavior. "It's one of the only nonliving documents on dark magic. The other four are still missing. Hopefully they are not in someone's posession." Erwen's eyes widened at this new information. "Who would create these?!"

Nitika seemed impressed at Alfred's knowledge of the laws of exile.
But she hesitated to talk about her past more, as she knew what it would lead to.
"...I'm not sure I want to talk about this any more..."

{The Necromancer the turns to Drailen.}"And what of Pherial?"{Drailen steps forward.}"My wife wants peace with Aquilam, but her time draws near. Soon, she will join us and leave our daughter to rule. Because of my assassination, she wishes for war. Tomorrow night, I must return in my true body and help my wife to convince our daughter not to go to war."{The Necromancer smiles.}"Good. We might just be able to pull this off. No war will take place, and everyone will live in peace. If I can just deal with Maldius quickly......"

Ivy huffed in exasperation and continued wandering through the streets, hoping to find someone else to talk to.

( @Turtle I think you should have Mac meet up with Ivy. Just because.)

Noxaura had flown back to her cave after briefly collecting more herbs. She organized everything then went to the back of the cave and pulled out four books. She laid them out in numerical order and glared at the empty spot.

//Go on, say more, Lennox...!// Maldius leans forward slightly, highly intrigued by the conversation.

Macgyver stared at the glintering golden necklace he had made, admiring his work. He wrote something down neatly on a peice of parchment, before wrapping both the Necklace and note in a bag. He flew off into the forest, towards Nox's cave.

//Just drop it off there, she won't know its you, she won't//

He swerved downwards, dropping the package neatly at the cave enterance.
Mac then took off again, feeling proud.

The note read: //"A beutiful necklace for a beutiful dragoness"//

Despite the fact that it wasn't signed, there was one problem. A burn mark in the shape of a claw lay at the bottom of the note.

(Shoot I'm late :V Pretend that happened before Nox got home)

Lennox set the book down on the ground between him and Erwen. "The first king of Aquilam wrote all five books. But he soon realized the danger they possesed and sealed them into a chamber in the northeast." He paused and glanced at the book. "I traveled there a few months ago and found the cavern empty and destroyed." Erwen looked at the book with new curiosity. "Someone stole them?"

Alfred " no problem! Politics is boring anyways! We can talk about other things like...hmmm oh! I know! what your favorite food?"

Gemini " what does that have to do with anything?"

Alfred " it's call for fun. You should try it sometime you might like it!! "

Gemini took a few heavy flat of her Wings and grumbled to herself

{The Necromancer then turns to Thesseus.}"And what news do you bring?"{Thesseus speaks.}"I have investigated the outcast, as you asked. He has no name, but he is from the frozen wastes. You may know him as The White Demon."{The Necromancer's eyes widen at this.}"Truly? Well, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. That's the third legend that has been proven to exist this week alone. And what of his intentions?"{Thesseus smiles.}"He's just a drifter. He means no harm to anyone. You don't need to worry about him at all. In fact, he seeks to help Macgyver."
The Necromancer:"Help how?"
Thesseus:"He wishes to provide emotional support. Something that is clearly not your area of expertise.{The Necromancer laughs}"Well, if you're sure of this, I shall leave this outcast be."

Noxaura packed the four books back into the crevice in the wall. After making sure they were hidden she made her way to the enterance. She stopped when she noticed the bag sitting outside. //How could I have missed this?// Carefully she picked the bag up and opened it.

Ivy wandered around the market, chatting to a few stall owners who caught her eye.

(Don't have much to do so I might think about jumping out soon)

Nitika smiled slightly, "Well, I like fish quite a bit..."
She shrugged, "What's your favorite food?" She asked Alfred.
His unique appearance made her wonder what his answer would be.

Necromancer:"Really? Well, good for him. I guess now I don't need to find Spirito anymore."
Draugr:"He has a light spirit under his command as well."
Necromancer:"What? Where'd he get that?"

//I know who stole them,// Maldius grins beneath his invisibility.

(Maldius: @Griffin I may or may not cause trouble if the conversation gets boring/ur boi leaves... *troll face*)

Noxaura pulled out the note and smiled bashfully when she read it. She noticed the burn mark and her smile broadened. Nox slowly pulled out the necklace and admired it's beauty. //This is gorgeous, I can't believe that this is for...me.// She thought to herself.

Lennox nodded. "I need to find them, those books are a danger to us all, if anyone learnt anything from them they must be caught immediately." Erwen nodded in understanding.

(I'm watching you Mal, you aren't as sneaky as you think!)

Alfred " Watermelon! It is the best thing ever!!... Thought I do really like honey to! oh and rock candy or any candy for that matter or my mom makes this really awesome cake and you put strawberries on top and it just Mmmm mmm good!!"

Upon realising that there was nobody interesting to talk to in Solaris, Ivy let out a long sigh and took flight over the city. //I may as well return to travelling...// she thought morosely. //My beauty is wasted here!// She headed in the general direction of the forest.

( @Radiant It's fine.){From above, a large dragon draugr descends to Ivy's altitude. It's the very same one that nearly killed Crowley. It looks her over with its glowing eyes.}

Nitika stared in horror as Gemini fell, "Quick, we need to stop her fall!"
She felt absolutely powerless with no wings, and if anything, Alfred wouldn't be able to carry both of them...

Noxaura tucked the note safely in her bag. The gently put on the necklace gifted to her and looked at her reflection in a nearby pool. Satisfied with the look she smiled and flew towards the palace to begin looking for Mac.

Erwen thought for a moment. "How strong is the magic in the books?" Lennox shook his head frantically. "If the user could master all that advanced magic...they'd be too strong."

Alfred "Nikita hold on!" He shouted as he tucks his wings in to dive after her

Ivy glanced around as the draugr approached. //Hmm, some attention at last!// She smiled at the creature, not at all put off by its glowing eyes and intimidating appearance.
'Hello there...' she murmured. 'And who might you be?'

Macgyver flew back to the capitol, very worried.
//Oh I hope she likes it, I hope she does...//

He passed the throne room, bumping into something near the wall. It felt like a dragon, and that startled him. "O-oh I'm sorry- I..." He noticed no one was there. "...Okay then" Mac continued to walk down the hall.

{The Necromancer adrressess all of the draugrs before him.}"Good work, everyone. You may leave now. Oh, Thesseus, I need you to deliver another message to Lennox. I need you to warn him that Maldius has returned. Also, I have learned that Lennox may be directly responsible for Maldius' creation. I need you to find out how much of this is fact."{At hearing this, Avatil yells in surprise.}"What?"{She runs back to the Necromancer.}"What do you mean, created Maldius? Who has told you this?"{The Necromancer summons Zygoren.}"This spirit. He is Maldius' father."{Avatil speaks to Zygoren while Thesseus embarks upon his journey to Solaris.}"What do you mean my husband created Maldius? Speak, spirit!"

Noxaura quickly traveled over the capital and landed at the entrance of the palace. She nodded to the guards before heading inside, all the while she kept an eye out for Mac.

Erwen looked up at his father. "Do you have any idea who could've taken the books?" Lennox shook his head. "I hope it was seperate dragons, not just one."

(Sorry, I suddenly got called away by rl XP )

{The dragon draugr speaks in a low tone. Its tattered wings make a flapping noise as the air passes through them.}"Never mind who I am. To which tribe do you belong?

( @Turtle I assume that was Maldius that Mac bumped into?

Maldius: I am sneakier than you think I am, fluffeh turkey!)

'To which //tribe?// Well, that's a difficult question...' Ivy smirked. 'I don't belong to any tribe anymore. I'm just a wanderer who travels the world in hopes of finding my true love.' She let out a loud sigh. 'I haven't succeeded yet...'

Nitika held on to Alfred as he sped through the sky. She squinted her eyes as the wind beat against her face. She managed to make out Gemini's figure as she fell.

"When my boy was just an egg, a dragon claiming to be sent from Lennox ordered me to hand over my child for some sort of experiment, which made my son into the terror known as Maldius. He specifically said it was by Lennox's decree, your highness," Zygoren explains.

//A means of obtaining incredible power... I must find a way to get those books-// Maldius had become so enthralled by the conversation that he didn't see Mac coming. He nearly says something in surprise, but catches himself and silently watches Macgyver pass by. //Why, hello there, friend... I'll get to you, later...//

{The draugr tilts its head.//She doesn't seem like a troublemaker.//}"So, you're an outcast? Looking for your true love? I think you might have waited too long. How old are you? one-eighty? two hundred?"

( @Radiant To Ivy: *cough cough* Wonder why... *fades away*)

Lennox picked up the book, as if he was afraid it was going to disappear. "This magic only serves two purposes my son, to destroy and corrupt." Erwen looked at his father in confusion. "This magic will eat at it's users' sanity and corrupt them if they're not strong enough to fight it. The first king underestimated it's power and that was his downfall."

Ivy spluttered incoherently with rage. 'How dare you? I am in my prime!' Then, abruptly, she calmed down and gave the draugr an unpleasant smile. 'But don't you know it's rude to demand a lady's age? Why are you so interested in me, anyway? I know I'm pretty, but you could just ask me out now instead of asking weird questions...'

Alfred dive after Gemini as she was free falling he laid his ears back to try and pick up more speed as the wind whipped past him. She was getting closer but so was the ground, he reached out his talons and try to grab her but he miss his first try "come on! come on! COME ON!" He finally grabbed her lifeless body. He immediately opened his wings to try and slowl them down " To heavy too fast too heavy to HEAVYto FAST!!" As the ground quickly approach them "Niki do you trust me!"

{Avatil speaks angrily}"You were tricked! You must have been! Lennox would never have done such a despicable thing as to separate a dragonet from their rightful parent! Especially not behind my back! What proof did this dragon provide that Lennox decreed such a thing!?"

(Ivy, you really want to go out with a rotting corpse? Really?? XD )

(Ivy to FadingGlory: Excuse me? Are you insulting my romantic abilities?)

(Lilly: She's desperate. No-one else will go out with her. XD)

( @Griffin Out of curiousity, does Lennox have a ring or stamp of some sort for when he decrees something?)

Nitika barely had a moment to act as the ground became closer and closer.
"Yes!" She blurted, not thinking about her choice.

{The draugr laughs.//She's clearly no threat to our cause. But I think I'll mess with her for just a little while longer.//}"In your prime, you say? Maybe in body, but your color is horriffic! Trust me when I say I have no interest in going on any dates. After all...{The draugr does a barrel roll, revealing his exposed ribcage and lack of organs.}...what girl would want to dance with death?"

Zygoren maintains his calm as he speaks, "He came bearing a letter with your husband's seal on it, your Highness."

(Maldius: Sorry, but I'm not going out with a thing that looks like it crawled out of a fresh pile of vomit.)

'Oh, but dancing with death would be a thrill like no other,' Ivy purred, flying in a slow circle around the draugr. 'Exciting, unexpected, dangerous! And you call my colour horrific? You look like a lizard that's been dead for a month. But still, I'm strangely drawn to you... what d'you say about a little date...?'

(Ivy: *shrieks in rage and explodes*)

Zygoren, you said you were able to observe Maldius in his training, right? Where was he trained?"{Avatil bares her teeth, her eyes still glowing brightly.}

Alfred " Ok because we are going to have a crash landing!!" He wait just before they hit the trees to try and slowl them down as much as he could. he turned and pulled Nikita in front of him, he wrap his wings around the girls making a protective cocoon with them. "This is going to hurt" he said as he hit the first tree loud popping and snapping of branches fill the air as they continued to crash through the trees " ouch. ouch! I'm going to fill that one! Ouch that one to!" He hits the ground hard on his back. Dust fills the air "OUCH! I'm going to fill that in the morning! ...nope I fill it now" he coughs. He opens his wings up revealing the Nikita and Gemini "are you okay? " he asked Nikita even though he was the one who took the full blow

(Because she's turned on by the smell of decaying flesh)

Reveal yourself to her, and allow her to hit you with her cleansing light magic. [This will weaken the curse] If you still think your game of tag if 'fun' after that, I owe you twenty pounds of gold and jewels.){The draugr's very soul cringes at the thought of a date with this dragon.}"Um, no. Sorry, babe, but I've got work to do. Perhaps you might find your true love in the Frozen Wastes. I hear the chaps there are very lonely.{//And murderous.//}

After speaking to many of the guards at their posts, Noxaura began walking in the direction Mac was last seen. She knew she wouldn't get in trouble for being here this early but she stayed quiet.

Ivy huffs with frustration. 'Maybe I'll go there, then! After all, my love must be somewhere... and if you can't see my beauty, I'll just have to find someone else.' In a quick movement, she kissed the draugr on the nose before swooping out of his reach. 'See you around, darling!'

"It was an underground cave system in a mountain, not far from Solaris, with the layout of a school. Normally, it would function as a normal school, however my son received... 'special'... classes in hidden and secret chambers, where the leaders performed various tests to determine his strengths and weaknesses," Zygoren replies.

(I love this group, we went from salty insults to a makeshift date site for Ivy in like 5 minutes)

Nitika took a moment to calm down after the intense landing, "Y-yes, I'm fine.
But are you ok?"
She got up and off of Alfred, being careful to not injure him more.

(Griffin: XD Ivy's only purpose in life is to find dates)

Lennox stood up, still holding the book in his arms. "We've spoken enough on the subject Erwen. Do not repeat this to anyone." Erwen nodded obedientky. "What're we going to do about this father?" Lennox shook his head. "For now there's nothing to do."

//You could put it somewhere unattended so I can take it,// Maldius thinks to himself.

Alfred lifts up slowly whit Gemini in his arms and cough a little " who up for round two! haha ouch... yaeh I should be ok" he looks at the trail of debris he left "will not my best landing, but not my worst ether" he looks back at Gemini "she still breathing...but something odd about her..."

{The Necromancer speaks.}"In order to have used that space, the dragon that took him must have been of high rank. What was the name of the dragon that took Maldius again?"{Avatil's anger intensifies. She speaks through clenched teeth}"I know that school! Erwen went there! What you say is impossible! Lennox would have known! He would have done something!"

Nitika had a concerned expression, "Yes, I've noticed her acting a bit strange before. Like she's a completely different dragon.
But I doubt that has anything to do with this..." Nitika looked closely at Gemini, searching for any reasons why she collapsed.

Zygoren furrows his brow at the rememberance of the dragon. "His name was Fayveer, and he was an ice dragon. Apparently Maldius killed Fayveer before he attempted to murder Lennox, or so he said in our encounter earlier."

Macgyver stood in his room, watering his flowers that sat at his window. He looked out at the open door into the hallway, wondering what the king was talking about.

Alfred he set Gemini down gently and grab his bag and pulls out a small blanket and puts it under her head as a pillow " different how so? you mean not all grumpy and pouting or something? " he tilts his head curiously while rubbing his shoulder

"She was very cheery, and her eyes were blue. She told me her name was Teresa.
I first met her like that."

After speaking to one more guard Noxaura was directed to Macgyver's room. When she arrived she tapped her claws on the wall to announce her presence.

Lennox summoned a pair of keys and locked the book inside a compartment. "The book stays here, with me. Don't tell anyone about it Erwen." Erwen nodded and backed out of the study, leaving his father to his resources.

( @Lilly Yeah sure! Do you want to make a Count or an Adviser?)

{About one minute after Erwen leaves, the window to the left of Lennox's desk opens slowly. Standing on the sill is Thesseus, the cloaked draugr.}"Lennox. Are you here?"

( @Lilly Okay, I can't wait to see them!)

(Hey, Im going out for a bit, Ill be back in a half hour. Do you think you all will still be here?)

( @Lilly He's an advisor? I can't continue my dialogue until I know.)

Lennox lifted his head and turned to the window. "Yes I am here." He grew defensive at the sight of the draugr.

Alfred "WOW! Princess cheery?!! Really you serious!! And her eyes where blue?... that is really strange...Another odd thing is...." he was thinking " it just not physically possible..Is it?" He looks at Nikita " Teresa has two Heartbeats..." his ears twitch

Macgyver's ears perked up to the sound of the noise and he turned around to see Nox.

"Oh! Hello Nox-" He noticed her wearing the necklace, causing him to blush.

Maldius grins beneath his invisibility. //He's alone now, and I know where he keeps the book...// The dark dragon pauses, considering whether or not he should try to steal it immediately. //Hmmmmm... maybe some other time.// He pauses again. //I want to do something to him... I can't just stand in his presence and leave without doing something...

I have to do something to him...

But I have to make sure he doesn't suspect that it's me...//

Suddenly, one of Lennox's feathers is plucked off of the King's head and lands upright on the ground. It hops away from Lennox a ways, then let's out an exasperated sigh. "That's IT! I can't put up with you anymore!" the feather shouts, it's voice having a distinct accent.

(Oh, nevermind what I just said, the draugr's more important.)

Nitika stared at him with wide eyes, "Two heartbeats?
...Two personalities... Two eye colors..."
Nitika paused for a moment, "Do you think it's possible... That she's two dragons in one body?..."

( @Aggron Yeah, he'll be an advisor :p )

{Thesseus steps down from the sill.}"I know I said that I would return when rebellion reared its ugly head, but I'm afraid that something far worse has come up. And its maw is far uglier."{The draugr looks at the ground, then back at Lennox.}"Your Highness, Maldius the Defiler has returned!"

Lennox looked at the draugr with scepticism. "Maldius? That's impossible, he was banished! We've watched to make sure he never returned!"

Maldius glares vehemently at the draugr, the sight of it reminding him of the draugrs that just WOULDN'T STOP INSULTING HIM. Nevertheless, Maldius refrains from bashing Thesseus' head against the wall and listens.

Alfred Shrugged his shoulders " ouch... " he rubbed his shoulder some more " I'm not sure I've only seen yellow eye princess...but It could be a possibility I guess...I've never heard of anything like that before at least not in Chrysos"

( @Lilly Ok.){Avatil, still infuriated, speaks.}"Fayveer was an Advisor! I knew him! He would never do something so horrible!"{The Necromancer suddenly speaks up.}"There's only one way to settle this. Zygoren, where is Fayveer buried? If I raise his corpse, his memories will tell no lies."

( @Aggron I'm not sure Zygoren would know that, as he wasn't present when Fayveer died or when he was buried.)

"Teresa's an Aquilam dragon.
I know little to nothing about magic, but it may be possible that it has something to do with this? I can't think of any other possibilities..." Nitika looked frustrated, "Honestly, I wish I knew more about magic."

{The draugr glares at Lennox.}"Honestly, Lennox, your guards aren't worth half the wages you pay them. Plus, Maldius is a master of Illusion Magic. He could have easily avoided detection. Hell, he could be in this very room and we wouldn't know it! You know this just as well as I do. After all, it was your decree that led to his creation."

//Shhh, don't say that. You'll ruin all my fun, you rotting corpse!// Maldius' tail twitches agitatedly.

Lennox glared at the draugr. "Don't insult my guards, or any of my tribemates." His glare quickly turned to confusion. "What decree are you speaking of?"

Alfred still rubbed his shoulder " magic could be a possibility. It make sense really if you think about it" he moved his hand of his shoulder it was covered in a yellow glowing liquid " uh oh... that's not good..." he had a frown

( @Lilly Oh, ok. Just pretend that he said that he needed to find the body then.){The Necromancer speaks in a tired tone.}"We won't know for sure until we can find the body. Avatil, you can leave now. Go back to the cave where Erwen found you. He may return there looking for you in times of trouble."{Avatil walks away, muttering angrily about Zygoren's story.}"Zygoren, I have a special task for you. Here."{The Necromancer produces the body of a falcon.}"I want you to be my spy. Report any acts of conflict between the tribes. During the night, report to me, when I'm alone. All other times, reprt to Thesseus. And if you ever find Maldius, follow him and report any useful information. Got it?"

(Now what ? -.-)

Zygoren nods. "I understand. I shall stay alert at all times." He turns his head to look at Avatil sadly. "I never should've let him take my child from me... of all fathers, I am the most despicable..."

{The draugr's gaze doesn't change.}"Don't play dumb. Zygoren recieved a decree with your seal saying that his dragonet was selected for magical expeiments. It was delivered by your Advisor, Fayveer!

( @Shadow You could switch to BlackIce in Maldius' fortress, couldn't you?)

Lennox was even more confused. "I haven't heard that name in years...no we never ran tests on dragonets, at least not the citizens' children." Lennox sat in deep thought before breaking into a small fit of coughs.

{The Necromancer just looks at Zygoren.}"We all make mistakes in our lifetimes. What matters is that we fix them."{He binds Zygoren to the falcon.}"Now go! it will be dawn soon."

Zygoren lets out a squak and hurriedly flies away.

{Thesseus quickly tilts his head and points at Lennox.}"'At least not the citizen's dragonets?' So you did perform tests! And Zygoren was a Count! Did you consider him as 'not a citizen?' because of his higher status?"

(Ok @lilly one overly obsessive loon coming right up)

BlackIce stood in a large room there was a throne and in front of it was a pool that was a perfectly round circle "Ahh this must be his throne room!!" He look around in looked around in all of it

Maldius listens intently.

Lennox shook his head. "No, no dragonets were tested on except ours. The four eggs Avatil had were tested on, that's all!" He rasped, recovering from the fit. Lennox eyed the draugr. "Your master, the one who raised you, where did they learn the magic?!"

(Maldius: Don't even dare vandalizing my throne room. Don't even dare, BlackIce.)

//Four eggs? Hmmmm... so he has other children... I wonder where they could be...// Maldius ponders, forming a plan in his mind. //.... and, I wonder when Lennox's hatching-day is... Hmmm...//

{As dawn approaches, the Necromancer walks into a large cavern. He proceeds to let out a long, shrill howl. It echos through the tunnels. At this, all of the patrolling draugrs retreat into hidden tunnels and caverns, and prepare to go dormant until the night comes again. All of the commanders and dragons draugrs, however, gather into the large chamber.}

(Sorry for being late, my dad split his pants xD )

Macgyver blinked at her, then spoke. "You look er- beutiful Noxuara, and that necklace fits you well" He said this kinda fast, and looked nervous about how she would react.

{The draugr is a little taken aback at this.}"Avatil had......four eggs? Did she know what you did to them? What did you tell her? And now you decide to ask that question? Not when you first saw me? Why do you want to know where?

Lennox nodded. "We both did testing on the eggs ourselves. Only one survived, Erwen, my heir." He looked at the draugr dead in the eye (lol). "I ask you because there's a problem, a dangerous problem. And I only began connecting dots now."

Noxaura laughed softly. "Thank you Mac." She walked up to him. She brought one of her claws up to the necklace. "Did you make this all by yourself?"

{In the cavern, the Necromancer speaks to his officers and dragon underlings.}"On this night, Maldius the Destroyer has returned! He is an enemy to everything we've been fighting for! However, despite his reputation, he IS mortal! From here on out, have you and your men carry at least one poisoned weapon! Maldius is suceptible to toxins! The next time you see him, kill him! Now, join your men in their slumber!"{The dragons and commanders disperse into the caverns.}

Maldius lets out a quiet growl, hearing that only Erwen survived of the King's children. //That spoils that plan... but perhaps I could revise it some way...//

"Y-yeah" Macgyver said. "I used my fire to manipulate the metal. It was fun but," He held up one of his hands to show her. Splashes of gold littered his claws. "It gets pretty messy" He smiled. "I-i'm glad you like it"

{Thesseus crosses his arms and returns Lennox's gaze.}"And what problem might that be?"

Blackice stood in front of the throne he marveled at the size of it "My great king of power and darkness! Sat down in This Very throne!"

Lennox growled. "I cannot trust you with that information, all I need to know is if...you happened upon any old books on old magic."
Noxaura smiled. "I love it, it's absolutely beautiful." She looked down at Mac's gold flecked hands. "Are you okay? Molten metal can cause serious injuries."

{Thesseus smiles then begins to speak sarcastically.}"Old books, eh? What, did someone pillage the forbidden section of your lending library? No, we have no books on the matter. But, now I'm intrigued. What books are these?"

"Oh. No, It just ends up burning off when I get- Well you know, upset" He looked down at his feet.

//I doubt he'll tell him anything.// Maldius narrows his eyes. //This is starting to get exessivley (?) boring...//

Lennox flashed his teeth before going back and retrieving the cursed book from where he'd left it. He tossed the book to the draugr's feet. "Those books, do you know where the others are?!" Lennox was getting tired of having the undead visit him.

{The Necromancer removes his armor and goes into his normal cave to sleep for a few hours.}"I'll see what Thesseus turns up in the morning."{Ardens yawns and lies down in the back of his cave.}

Blackice after exams the throne he notice the pool " interesting I can fill some kind of magic coming from it" he exams the purple liquid

(I'm gonna brb and be social for a few minutes, I'd be happy if this kept going though :p )

"Oh." Noxaura looked down at her claws before looking back up at Mac. "It was nice of you to make such a precious gift for me, I'll treasure it." She walked over to his flowers and brushed her claws over them, immediately they began blooming even bigger blooms than before.

( @Griff Oooh, is Lenny getting salty?){Thesseus picks the book up. After briefly inspecting the cover, he opens it. His eyes widen at what he sees inside. After quickly fingering through all of the pages, he slams it shut.}"......I see.......This is a problem.......especially if Maldius gets his hands on all of these. We don't have the others. How many volumes are there?"

Lennox sighed and held back another cough. "There are five of them. Four are missing, they weren't in their cavern where they were sealed." He pulled back the book, safely keeping it under his claws. "Someone has them."

Macgyver stared in astonishment at what she did. "Wow.."

//She is the opposite of me. I destroy, she creates. Wow//

"You like flowers, I figured this is the least I could do...brighten up some things for you." Noxaura smiled and laughed quietly when she saw Mac's expression. She quickly turned to tend to the remaining plants. As she was going over the last bunch her hand involuntarily twitched and the flowers she were touching withered. She gasped and looked at the dead plant as if she had just slapped a dragonet.

{Thesseus reluctantly lets Lennox take the book back.}"Five in total.......Four are missing. We'll keep an eye out. But, back to my original question. Did you or did you not decree that Zygoren's child be taken and tested upon?"

Blackice "so what does this do?..., and how does it work? " he spread his wings " awaken!!" Nothing happen. He glared at the pool "you do something! Tell me what it is!!" He shouted at it

Macgyver smiled at this, but then saw her expression to the dead flowers.
He squeaked ran over to her.

"No- No- No- It's ok! I do that all the time... Eccept I burn them- Its ok- er"

Lennox pried his eyes off the book. "I did not. I would never approve of testing on another's child."

Noxaura looked away from the flowers and to Mac. "I-I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to kill them." She looked at her claws in confusion and fear. //This has never happened before.// She internally panicked.

{Thesseus gives Lennox a suspicious look.}"Very well. Just remember, if you're lying to me, I won't be the one to confront you about it. But, enough of that. Maldius is back in Lecra. Watch your back and keep your people safe. If we discover anything about the books, we'll let you know.{The draugr starts to walk towards the nearest window, just like last time.}

"No- Don't get upset- I-its alright! No- Don't panic" Macgyver did the only thing he thought he could do. He wrapped his wings around her, giving her a warm, conforting hug.

Lennox nodded subtly. "I suppose you watch your own back as well." He grabbed the book and wrapped it up in some cloth the placed it in a bag.

Noxaura slowed her breathing, trying to calm down. She leaned into Macgyver and sat there silently under his wing. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to kill them. This has never happened before."

"Shhhh Its alright... I still love you" Macgyver suddenly took in what he just said and blushed furiously. "I- Uh- I mean- Ah who am I kidding- I love you, Nox."

(Back, and BlackIce is shouting at a pool? lol XD )

{Thesseus stands on the windowsill.}"The dead cannot die a second time, Lennox. Your time, however, is not yet up. Don't let Maldius cut it short. The living still need you."{With that, Thesseus falls out the window and turns to ash.}

Noxaura blushed slightly and rested her head against Mac. "I-I think I do to, I mean uh." She looked up at him. "Yeah, I love you too."
Lennox huffs at the draugr's 'dramatic' exit and picks up the bag and slings in around his neck.

(I completely forgot about Black Ice yelling at a pool. XD )

Macgyver stared at her, the tip of his tail on fire.
//AH OMYGOD WHAT?!? SHE LOVES ME DEAR MOONS SHE LOVES ME TOO//

A cold and eerily familiar voice then speaks, though it sounds as if it were coming from inside Lennox's own mind. A slight chill comes over the chamber. "I know your secrets... do you think you can hide them forever?"

(welp this is good, the one nice thing we have. Is Maldius going to ruin it, yes he most likely will.)

Lennox tensed and froze in place. He looked around for a possible source. Lennox growled menacingly at the speaker.

Noxaura looked up at Macgyver's face and faintly smiled. "Are you okay?"

"I know who has the other books... I saw it with my own eyes..."

Macgyver snapped out of his internal screaming and blinked at her. "What- Oh yeah! I just thought- Well that you wouldn't like me... I-im just releived"

(NO MALDIUS BAD MALDIUS NO)

( @Lilly No, Maldius, no! Don't do it! Don't ruin their happy ending! XD)

(Maldius: MALDIUS YES! MUAHAHAHAHAHA!)

Blackice began to make frustrated pacing around the pool "it has to do something!! I can fill it!! He look to the throne that was in front of the pool "maybe that's how it works? "

Lennox stood still and raised his head high. "Who is there...and how could you possibly know who has the books."

"Why wouldn't I, we've been friends for so long. And you're one of the greatest dragons I know." Noxaura's smile faltered slightly. "I guess I'm just surprised I never aknowledged these feelings before."

(No Maldius, just because you're unhappy doesn't mean everyone else needs to be too!)

The voice laughs darkly. The torches lighting the room begin turning purple. "You don't remember //me?// Why, Lennox, I thought for sure you'd remember the voice of the dragon who nearly killed you one hundred years ago!"

"Sometimes you don't even notice certain feelings are there untill someone triggers them." (Not like that :V)
Macgyver sighed. "I was just too scared to admit mine... Untill now."

(Maldius: I like making people unhappy, though! I love tragic stories! >:D )

Lennox let out an exhausted sigh. "Of course, how could I forget the tempermental eggplant." Lennox rolled his eyes. "I won't believe a word you say."

Noxaura nodded. "I guess you're right. You didn't need to be afraid, but I suppose everything has worked out for you."

(Nanashi don't pick on the kid. glares at Maldius >:/ )

"I guess so" Macgyver said happily, twining his tail (No fire) around hers.

(Yeah Maldius, We got no name on our side. What'chu gonna do now, eggplant boi?)

"Hmm, that's just too bad." The bag around Lennox's neck is suddenly pulled off-and then disappears. "I was hoping you'd make things interesting, but I suppose I'll just have to.. borrow the books from Noxaura myself. I suppose following that miserable ice dragon-who's name I can't remember... was it Yssarion?-that was my best move, for though he tried escaping me, he led me straight to a source of power!" The flames are suddenly blown out, the dark figure of Maldius becoming slightly visible, the dark dragon grinning wickedly while the bag with the book floats close to him. "Farewell, Lennox... I'll see you again-once I have the rest of the books!"

(Ardens to Mac. "Maldius is impervious to all elemental magic. Fluffybuns over there will do as much good against Maldius as an air conditioning unit on the ice planet Hoth.")

Lennox reached out to swipe the bag back even though it was hopelessly out of his grasp. "Maldius!" Lennox roared loudly making sure it echoed around the palace. "Don't you dare touch any of my citizens!" He growled and leapt forward intending to attack him.

Noxaura was about to respond when she heard the king's roar. "Mac something's wrong!"

Macgyver got to his feet, grabbing Nox's hand, bolting toward the throne room.

"Your Magesty? Are you al-" Macgyver cut off with a small choked roar, as a searing headache entered his head.

The headache began to settle down, and Macgyver stared around panicky.

{Lennox's roar wakes Azureus from her sleep.}"Lennox? Are you ok?"{She runs down the hall towards Lennox's studies.}

Maldius laughs, turning himself and the bag invisible again. Lennox's attack hits only the air.

{Azureus stops and stands in the doorway.}"Your Magesty, what's wrong?"

Lennox was looking around panicked when he saw Noxaura and Macgyver he slammed Nox into the wall with his tail. "Do you have the books?!" She looked at him with fear in her eyes and shook her head. Lennox heard Azureus approaching he turned to her quickly to announce: "Maldius is here!"

(Maldius: Oh boy, I can't wait to tell Maelstrom what I did this morning.)

(Nanashi warriors are not always the strongest or powerfulest. strength and power can be developed through training.

A Warrior are those who choose to stand between their enemy and all that they love or hold sacred. )

{Azureus jumps back at the mention of Maldius' name.}" "What? Where?"{She continues to stand in the doorway.}(Um, this is the only doorway and Maldius is still in the room, right?)

Macgyver looked around the room in horror. "M-maldius? I- Uh- He is alive..."

As Macgyver looked around the room, awful memories of his father taunting and scaring him flashed through his mind.

"H-he can't be..."

Lennox growled. "I don't know where he is, but we need to get the books before he does.
Noxaura stood, weezing from the impact against the wall. "Do you mean the...dark magic books my lord?" At Lennox's confirming growl Nox cowered down near the ground. "I-I uh, I can retrieve them."

( @Aggron Nope, Maldius left already :p )

{Azureus adresses the room}"What books? What's going on? And why does Maldius want them?"

"Get them!" Lennox whipped around, as soon as he turned away Nox darted away to get to her cave.
Lennox growled and faced Azureus. "The five books of dark magic written by the first king. Maldius is after them!"

"Someone should go with her! Maldius is probably already there- S-she shouldn't be going alone!" Macgyver turned to look at Lennox. "Well? Er- Your Magesty"

{Azureus blinks a few times, then speaks.}"He can't be allowed to get them! I'll make sure he doesn't!"{Azureus runs after Nox.}

Lennox hardly gave Macgyver a glance. "Fine, go!" He paced back and forth, his emotions flipping from panic to anger rapidly.
Noxaura made it to the main hall and ran towards the exit. Her claws were scraping against the stone as she leapt into the air and sped towards her home.

Maldius had easily escaped and was hovering in the air when he saw Nox speed out of the King's domain. //Perfect!// he grins, silently following the dragon from a short distance.

Macgyver nodded and darted after Azurus. He flapped furiously with his wings, avoiding trees as he spiraled upwards. Smoke rose from his nose, curling up his horns.

{Azureus follows closely behind Nox, flying as fast as she can.}

Noxaura sent out a burst of dark energy and sensed a larger, stronger dragon nearby. Quickly she swerved off track and began setting up dark magic to cloak herself for a quick escape.

Maldius' grin fades as he watches Noxaura's evasive maneuver. //So she can sense me. How disappointing. I suppose I can kill her another day.// Then, he turns to watch Mac. //... Or maybe...//

Macgyver flew above the tree line, looking for any signs of Azurus or Nox. He spotted Azurus. With a burst of speed, Macgyver flew towards her, making sure he would not get lost.

Taking the risk Noxaura sped up significantly and headed directly to her cave. She dove inside and ran to the back. Quickly she stuffed the four books into a bag then darted out of the cave. Looking around she could see Azureus and Macgyver deciding it would be unwise to fly to them with the wanted objects she dove towards the nearby foliage below her cave.

{Azureus sees Nox's maneuver.} "What? Why would she....She can sense Maldius! He's following her!"{Azureus starts to rise into the air, trying to catch sight of Nox or Maldius in the rays of the rising sun.}

Letting out a nightmarish roar that could make even the most valiant of heroes tremble, Maldius wills himself visible as he charges through the air at Mac, seeking to tackle him out of the air.

Macgyver whipped around, hearing the roar. His whole body trembled, making him feel panicked and uneasy.

("MAAAAAAAAAC!!!

LET'S PLAY TAAAAAAAAG!!!1!")

{Azureus sees Maldius charge Mac}"Mac, look out!" {Azureus throws herslef into Maldius' path and attacks him with two bright beams of Light Magic.}

Blackice sits in the throne that was to big for him*nothing happens* he started to get enraged "why won't it WORK!!! He look around to break something,but they was nothing close enough. He slammed his Talons into the floor and his eye whet dark he begin to breathes heavily as black liquid start to drip from his mouth, he Doug his Talons into the stone until they started to bleed, his eyes whet back to normal he took a deep breath "just breath Ice there a way you just need to clam down " he looks at his bloody talons

Noxaura landed and quickly dug a hole under a thick patch foliage and dropped the bag with the books inside. She used her nature magic to cover any traces of the dark magic books being anywhere near there. After she was satisfied she whipped around and shot into the air heading straight for the fighting.

Macgyver whipped around, sending a cloud of smoke in all directions, hoping to blind Maldius.

Maldius growls furiously as he is struck with the beams, closing his eyes as he crashes head-on with Azureus at high speed.

(Poke with a stick everyone having fun and I'm just by myself )

(Nanashi can come save the day!)

Noxaura watched the colision and cringed slightly. Quickly she flew towards Azureus, determined to help her.

{Upon being struck, Azureus cries out. However, she manages to grab onto Maldius and anchors herself onto Maldius with her tail. She uses her cleansing light magic point blank right in his face.}"Go back to your exile, foul creature!"

As Nox helped Azurus, Magyver shot flames from his mouth, then using his heat, he manipulated the fire to pelt towards where he thought Maldius was. One of the bursts hit a nearby tree, sending it all to flames around the fighting dragons.

Nanashi hearing a loud roar he look in the direction of it and seen fire // the kid in trouble// he shot himself into the air

Noxaura flew into Maldius' side and dug in her claws to hang on to him. She bit into his shoulder and used dark magic to increase the pain of her bite.

Macgyver noticed Nanashi. "We have backup!"

Maldius roars, purple lightning suddenly cracking all over his body before he blasts Azureus with a bright mystical fireball. Feeling the unusual tugging sensation in his mind, only much stronger than when he encountered his father, the dark dragon shakes his head, trying to push it out of his mind. //No, this doesn't feel right... none of this is right!//

{Azureus manages to barely hang on after taking the hit. She continues to attack Maldius with the Cleansing Light. The mystic element on Maldius is begining to weaken her grip.}

Nanashi "kid!" he flow over to Mac

(Lilly- Oh you don't have to! I was just wondering.)

"//ENOUGH!!//" Maldius screams, letting out a powerful shockwave similar to what he used in the forest last night, hoping to fry everone around him.

(Maldius: I will NOT be defeated by a fat old grandma!!!)

Noxaura released her grip off Maldius' side and tried to fly out of the range of the shockwave. Even with her fast flying the end of her tail got singed.

(Whoaaa burnnn)

Macgyver landed on the ground, A little too heavily. The burning trees' flame was immediatly estinguished by the purple lightining.
Macgyver stared at Maldius, his chest heaving.

{Azureus gets knocked off this time, the shockwave severely burning her. She lets out a cry, then falls spiraling to the ground. Despite her best attempt to catch herself, Azureus hits the ground hard. By the border, the sound of the shockwave wakes Ardens from his sleep.}"Wha-what?"

( @Lilly Ouch. That's just mean. XD. Welp, here comes the calvary.)

Macgyver saw Nox's singed tail. His body began to heat up, fire burning the grass. "You hurt us. You hurT HER!" Mac stared at Maldius with pure hatred.

Noxaura flew down towards the ground and landed by Azureus. She stood over her, seeing all the burns that were now visable. "Azureus! Are you okay?"

Nanashi seen who they were attacking he shut up into the sky and did a somersault shooting down pikcking up speed the wind started to make a whistling sound, he shot a bolt of ice at Mal as he zoomed by

Maldius feels sick to his stomach, he feels as though his lungs will collapse in on themselves, but he manages to somewhat push those feelings aside. Suddenly snapping his head around to look straight down at Macgyver, the dark dragon quickly descends from the sky and lands in front of Mac, his hard landing causing several rocks to jut out of the ground as the surrounding terrain freezes purple.

(Sorry @Shadow, I didn't see your comment T-T I suppose it would either miss or crash against Maldius, but he'd probably ignore it.)

Macgyver watched Nanashi, but then stopped as Maldius thumped in front of him. Macgyver stood up with confidence. "You hurt my friends. You will pay you-you discusting mental eggplant!"

Noxaura's attention was pulled back to Maldius as he landed by Macgyver. Quickly, Nox left Azureus' side and ran to Mac's to help him.

{Azureus coughs and opens her eyes weakly.}"I-I'll.....be.....ok."{Her Restoration Magic begins to slowly heal her burns.}"We have-to-stop...."{She trys to get up, but collapses unconscious.}{At the border, Ardens sees Maldius in the far distance. He roars in rage at this. He then grabs a poisoned dagger and flys out towards the fight.}

(was going more for force of impact then just the magic. But it cool @LIlly Nana is smaller so he will use speed and wits )

(Poor Azureus, we will beat this grape kool-aid dragon up!)

Maldius glares down at Macgyver for a moment, breathing heavily before laughing. "Your 'friends'? I thought for sure you wanted to kill them... perhaps you need a little nudge." The demonic dragon grabs Macgyver by the throat and holds him in the air, not choking him, but rather using his power to draw out Macgyver's curse and strengthen it.

Macgyver let out a cry. He tried to whither around, trying to fignt it but it was no use. Macgyver began to burn up, his wingtips, and tail catching fire.

"Let him go!" Noxaura dug her claws into the ground, forcing roots to grow and wrap around Maldius' legs.

"That's what you want? You want him back?" Maldius temporarily ignores the roots around his legs, grinning cruelly at Noxaura. "So be it! You can have your precious 'friend' back! Hahahahahaha!!" He finishes his statement by throwing Macgyver towards Noxaura, and then uses his power to burn the roots keeping him down.

Nanashi does another somersault he dive and hits the ground behind Maldius sending ice up in the air he stood in his armor "let the kid go!" he charged at Maldius

{From the sky, plummets an angry Ardens.}"RRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!{Upon impact, he sinks the dagger deep into Maldius' back and begins to twist it.}

Macgyver landed with a thud not far from Nox. He stood up emidiately, his eyes pale white. He began to circle her, growling.

Noxaura stood still and slowly shifted into a defensive stance. "M-Mac, I know you're there." She sighed and prepared to pounce onto his back.

Macgyver's jaws began to open, and she could see blue flame, magic fire, begin to form in his throat.

Hearing Nanashi shout, Maldius merely causes a wall of flame to erupt between himself and the ice dragon, but when Ardens stabs him in the back, the dark dragon snarls angrily, using his telekinesis to pull Ardens and his weapon away, crushing him into the ground before him.

Noxaura took that moment to jump into the air and land behind Mac before he could release any flames. Quickly she leapt onto his back and tried to keep a good grip without hurting him.

{Ardens, immobillized by the telekinesis, struggles to move. //I hope the toxin kicks in soon. Otherwise, we're all dead.//}

Despite her pinning him down, Macgyver wrestled with her, untill he pinned her down with all of his force. Magic fire could not be swallowed, so the blue flame swirled in his throat, about to shoot and kill her.
But as if an invisible force pushed him, Macgyver's head swiveled to his own bandaged arm. The fire quickly released, hitting Mac's arm. The Cursed side of him screamed and kicked away from Nox, landing at Nanashi's feet. Mac was back to normal, but pain was overtaking. Mac gave Nox a weak smile. "For you" Before passing out at No name's paws. Mac's hit arm disintigrated into ash, because of the Magic fire's burns.

Maldius glares at Ardens furiously as he walks up to him, but noticing Mac and Noxaura again, he grins and forces Ardens' head to face the two. "Aww, how sad. How about we watch them together?" He says, his voice full of biting sarcasm.

Noxaura sat in complete shock before rage over took her. Her pupils changed from black to white and she charged at Maldius. Black smoke surrounded her claws and maw. She ran quickly and jumped onto his back. The dark magic was making the plant life die in the surrounding area.

(I have to go to bed! Mac is unconsous anyways. Ill read the fight in the morn)

{Ardens glares sideways at Maldius.}"Screw.......you!{Ardens causes the grass under Maldius to rapidly decay. Using his fire magic, he lights the grass under Maldius into a fire pillar in an attempt to break the telekinesis.}

Nanashi ignores the heat of the wall as he was run, he stop as he see Mac fall to his feet "KID!" he pick up Mac "Kid! hang in there!"

Noxaura tore her claws through scales and skin. The faint smell of rot could be detected as she tore into Maldius' back.

The dark dragon growls, focusing on Noxaura first, lifting her into the air with his telekinesis, before gathering the water in the air to extinguish Ardens' fire pillar. "While I'm sure all of you would disagree, I'm starting to get tired of this battle, so-" Suddenly wincing in pain, Maldius drops Noxaura and his hold on Ardens breaks. Instinctively reaching up to his back, where he was wounded, Maldius glares at Ardens. "You... you've poisoned me!"

As soon as she was dropped Noxaura paced around Maldius, waiting for a chance to attack again if needed.

(Theseus and Lucy. "Win this, Spots! For all of Lecra!")

{Ardens gets up, grinning the most evil grin he's ever made.}"That's right, Juice-Stain! When did you notice?"{Ardens circles Maldius, waiting for another opening to attack.}

Noxaura scanned all over for the bag that contained the book Maldius has stolen. She could sense it, the book that had been lost for years. The grass beneath her feet began whithering faster.

Nanashi put down Mac he stood at the firewall he late at a loud ROAR as a ice blizzard hit the wall of Flames he charged at it did not slow down he jumped though the flames landed on the other side his armor steaming with Heat. he look up his eyes glowing he took a step and the ground froze he change at Maldius as his very step froze sending Spike's of ice in his wake as he slammed in to Maldius digging his razor-sharp claws In him

Maldius had been watching his foes calmly-too calmly-and grinning faintly. When Nanashi slams into him, the dark dragon disappears, and Nanashi flies through him. The true Maldius laughs far overhead, flying rather lazy circles around everyone. "Well, I've had a ball today. You've been very entertaining, it will be amusing when I actually set out to slaughter all of you. I only needed something to relieve me of my boredom, I'll return to my demesne now, with my little prize. I suppose I ought to find a cure for poison as well... Have fun with the three-legged flaming lizard and the dying old grandmother!" Maldius laughs darkly as he turns invisible once more, this time being sure to hide his presence as he flies toward the Frozen Waste.

{Ardens snorts at this.}"The poison wasn't enough.......I'll have to use stronger stuff next time."{He turns to Nox.}"What happened? Tell me everything!"

Noxaura stood there, everything slowly coming to her. "Maldius found out about the books." She slowly made her way to where she hid the four other books and uncovered them //I'll be banished, the king knows now.//

Nanashi land on all fours as he turned around and scan the area with his eyes he said a colorful metaphor. He glared at the sky for a little not know where Mal when his wounds start to bleed again under his armor as he started to walk back to Mac

{Ardens walks up to Nox}"Books? What books? What are you talking about?"

Noxaura emptied the bag and let the four books be exposed on the ground. "These books, the documents of dark magic. Maldius took one." She looked down in shame at the four tomes before her.

{Ardens looks them over. He then picks one up and opens it. He looks upon the contents with amazement. He speaks under his breath.}"My God..........."{He just stares at the pages.}

Nox's ears lowered. "You asked me where I learned dark magic, it was from these. If I'd never lost the first book none of this would have ever happened." She sat there waiting for Ardens to begin shouting or scolding, or anything.

Nanashi shook and his armor fell off of him like snow he sat besides Mac seen his arm he went to grab some of his bandages but remember he uses them earlier... he unravel a blue ribbon he had around his arm and look at it //Lucy //, and began to wrap of what was left of Macgyver arm with it.

{Azureus weakly drags herself towards the three-limbed Mac.}"M-Mac...? Mac!"{She begins to sob when she notices Mac's missing leg.}

{Ardens closes the books and gathers the others under his arm.}"It's not your fault, Nox. Maldius is to blame for all of this.These books wouldn't mean a thing if there was no one to abuse them. Give them to me. I can keep them somewhere where Maldius will never find them."{He notices Azureus, Mac, and Nanashi.}"Oh, no!"{He runs to the group.}

Nanashi put a his paw on Azureus shoulder "The kid is strong"

Noxaura followed behind Ardens and avoided looking at any of the injured dragons. "I could help one of them now, I can give them my energy."

Nanashi turned his head and see Ardens and Noxaura coming

{Ardens looks upon the damage that Maldius caused to his friends. He curses Maldius' name under his breath.}"Nox, help Mac. I will help Azureus."{Ardens uses his Restoration Magic to heal Azureus the best he can. While doing this, he looks up at Nanashi.}"Looks like I owe you an apology, outcast. I'm sorry for the way I treated you yesterday. I thought you wanted to hurt Mac, but now I see........you just wanted to help."

Noxaura nodded and approached Macgyver. She quickly used dark magic to give Mac any energy she had while taking the exhaustion and pain he carried. "He should wake soon Ardens." Noxaura wobbled on her feet before stabilizing herself.

{Ardens chuckles a little at Nox's wobbling.//You've learned from such advanced books, and yet you're still a novice.// Ardens holds out his hand.}"Give me your paw, Nox."

Nanashi "apology excited "he bow his head to Ardens and then looks to Mac " who was that, that attached you? "

Noxaura glared at Ardens. "That's simply a technique I haven't perfected yet." She lifts her arm and places her clawed paw in Ardens hand.

{Ardens transfers half of his remaining energy to Nox.}"See? you don't have to go knocking yourself out everytime you use it."{He then turns to Nanashi.}"You mean the purple creature? His story is a long one. I'll explain at a better time."

(Hey guys, I think it's time to call it a night... at least for me XD )

(Yeah I was about to say that)

Nanashi " very well " he gets up "take care of the kid for me" he began to walk away

(Haha yaeh I have work in like 4 hours so I better get some sleep :p )

(Today's RP had everything, dragons getting salty, draugrs, Ivy kissing a zombie, an epic battle... I'd say this was the best RP so far! Goodnight everyone, you'll learn the effects of the poison on Maldius next time :p )
