Zoey was once an act in a circus after she had been captured. (Gorban was able to escape) She didn't like it. The audience threw food & balled up flyers for the circus at her. She was treated like the circus animals. Then, One night, The Ringmaster decides to sell her at a mere price of $400 to a Freak Show owner. At the Freak Show, People still spit on her & threw food. One night, Gorban managed to free Zoey & they ran as far & their feet could take them.
