The First War (between Koopas & Toads (humans & yoshis were allies)) happened in the reign of Bowser's great great grandfather. After being diagnosed w/ homocidomania (mania of killing ppl) and Bowser's great grandfather was born, the king (the great great granddad) was overthrown. Bowser's great granddad was moved to a town and the Koopa line lived there ever since. Bowser just participated in the Big War.
