Tigris started to walk around the tree houses looking for any students she and Maru recognized.

Sophie and Persephone walked out of the caves towards the beach, talking about their plans for the rest of the summer

"Well", Maru started, "It doesn't look like anyone is home."

"Yeah, but maybe they're all at the beach?" Tigris asked her familiar.

"Seeing how this is a island resort, there is a good chance that we'll find them at the beach." Maru replied as they both headed towards the beach.

(ahh sorry Kiro! thought Adrian was at the beach! Guess i missread your comment!)

Sophie and Persephone sat down in the sand after spreading out their beach towel

Just as Tigris and Maru were about to leave the Treehouse Residence, Maru looked up. "Hey Tigris, I think there is someone home."
Tigris followed Maru's gaze and replied, "Oh, yeah. Ket's go see who it is." She mounted her broom and flew to the balconcy with her familiar right behind her.

(Let's not ket's! whoops...)

"Sorry! I didn't mean to startle you!" Tigris said as she dismounted from her broom. "Just trying to meet some new people and make some friends." She extended her hand and took a step closer,"Hi, I'm Tigris and this is Maru. What's your name?"

"Aww thanks! It's an honor to meet you too! Both of you." Tigris said to the pair.

Then Maru piped up," Have you heard of the scavenger hunt event?"

Tigris clasped her hands together, "Wonderful! Glad to have you on the team!"

"In other words, yes, it is a team event. Or it can be, as teams are optional. At the moment we're looking for members. We were just about to head down to the beach to look for members." Maru explained.

Tigris nodded in agreement, "Oh yeah, want to join us?"

"You could always ride Maru." Tigris offered, knowing her familar could increase in size in order to carry a human.

"I'd rather he'd not ride Maru." Maru almost growled at Tigris. "Just have ride your broom if you really don't want to wait."

"Okay, fair enough." Tigris agreed with her familiar. As she forgot that Maru didn't like having unfamiliar riders. "Well, what do you think Adrian?" She asked him.

Tigris handed her broom over to Adrian as Maru grew to the size of a tiger. In this form, her wings were more prominent and she looked more like a small tiger dragon than her usual winged cat form.
Tigris climbed on Maru's back and looked back at Adrian, "Whenever you're ready!"

"Alright, let's go to the beach!" Tigris shouted as Maru lauched off the balcony and followed Georgie to the beach.

"Pull up to slow down! When it come close to a vertical, jump off!" Tigris shouted from Maru's back. "Oh! And leaning back helps too!" She shouted again.

Tigris dismounted Maru and walked over to Adrian,"You okay?" First time on a broom wasn't always easy, and Tigris wanted to make sure her team mate was alright.
Maru shrunk down to her normal size and started looking around the beach for other students.

(Sounds good, my 3ds is on red anyways)

Tigris started to scan the beach for other students when she saw someone she knew with turquoise hair. "Akami!" She shouted and waved to her friend.

Akami jumped a little, frightened by the sudden noise. She turned around with a confused expression that disappeared pretty quickly. Her eyes lit up at the sight of her friend. She waved back, "tigris!" she shouted in return.

Sushi also turned at the sound of tigris's voice. Tigris meant maru, Maru meant.. He turned red under his fur then shook his head as him and akami dashed toward the two.
(xD hope a strong wind doesnt come by in his human form omg tigris)

"How's it going? Sorry our last conversation had to be cut short." Tigris began talking to her friend and former room mate.

Maru noticed Sushi shaking his head, but didn't know the reason. Water in his ears? They were at a beach afterall. "Hey Red." Maru nodded in acknowledgement of his approach.

"Hi!" she greeted her friend with a hug as usual. "oh and don't worry about it. We have all summer. One day won't kill us" she grinned and looked around "have you made contact with other people for the team yet?" Akami asked.

"Hey Maru." Sushi gave a toothy grin and sat in front of the female tiger. His tail uncontrollably swayed side to side in excitement and left waves in the sand.

"True, true." Tigris nodded. "And yes I have! I met a boy calked Adrain and invited him. We came to the beach to look for other members, not sure where he is now though... Oh well" she told Akami as she shrugged shoulders.

"Well someone seems excited." Maru laughed as she saw how wild Sushi's tail was acting.

"A Adrian?" she tilted her head, her gaze now fixed upon Tigris's face. "Hopefully i can meet him soon.How is he? I-Is he.. Intimidating?" she felt a litle nervous. Akami was already afraid of newcomers, especially the super tall and scary ones.

Sushi sat upright and stopped his tail immediately. "e-eh? excited? psh noo" he looked down and squeezed his eyes shut

"Not at all, don't even worry about it. He seemed a bit shy, an indoorsy person, and has purple-ish/grey-ish hair. He also has a bird familiar and lives in the treehouses." Tigris tried to describe him the best she could while trying to reasdure Akami that he wasn't an intemidating person.

"You liar!" Maru playfully pushed him with her paw. "The tail shows aaaalllllll," she tried to say in a mystic sort of tone. For the most part, Maru's own tail only really moved at the tip to expressed her emotion. At the moment it was curled neatly by her paws.

Akami sighed with a litle relief. "that calms me a little. I just get so shaky around people i don't know." she muttered "it really stinks" she dug her foot into the ground and looked away from Tigris.

Sushi's ears flattened. He felt foolish. He scratched the top of his head with one of the floatimg claws on his tail then used it as a cushion. How was she so calm? He glanced at maru who just sat there with a smile

"Dude, its fine. It happens, I understand. Just remember that everyone is a little nervous mmeeting someone new." Tigris said in order to comfort Akami.

"Although, your tail does have an extra paw at the end. As the humans say, it must be pretty 'handy'" Maru's smile grew wider with the pun. Her tail also twitched to show her laughter coming to the surface.
