Oh yeah, all 3 of the Mother series games are like, in a chain.
Sorta.

Some things in Mother/EarthBound Beginnings carry over into EarthBound, and some stuff carries over from EB to Mother 3.

I mean, personally, I screwed up the order completely since I played M3 before EB, and I still haven't played the first game.

So if ya want the full experience of the third game, you should probably finish EB.
