??? (Checks Hyrule Historia) Oh ye-e-a-a-h! I forgot that Minish Cap was after Four Sword, Four Sword came out on Gabe Cube and was connectable to Wind Waker. Thank you for that, it makes MUCH more sense now (time put that tag finally, eh?)

The designs are way too similar for it to be a coincidence. The colors are literally the exact same. Plus the bangs, eyes(eyeshadow and everything), muzzle, belly, and even the tail. This would be the mother of all coincidences. I've dealt with situations like this before, and I would just change the design.
