Please?! by RandomPoof

I'm really trying to enhance my drawing skills, but it's just not working, I'm aiming for a realistic look, but it's failing. Please, someone give me a tutorial, or I'll probably give up and end my Colors! account... I know this is a stupid thing to get emotional about, but I've been trying to make realistic since day one of my account, but I always fail... #Help #please #moonala #lunala #pokemon

To do more realistic art, use thinner or less lines, and use images of real people and animals as a reference. That's what I do. :>

im in the same boat, read a manga then take a part of it and recreate it, do the same with anime, take real pictures and recreate them! watch the process of drawing of people on here! you will learn so much! I am not giving up and I dont want you to either!

also, draw ALL the time! you will get better even if you cant see it, and you should watch people paint [like bob ross] you can learn a lot, every day you will get better, youll look at the beginning of your gallery and wont recognize your work, i mean this from the bottom of my heart, art is a part of you and if you quit you will regret it,

Agreed with Merreneito here. I was in the same situation as you, but i didn't give up. I watch tutorials and sometimes i even try to draw on my own. As Merreneito said, it will take time, but it'll be worth it. Trust us. :)

Well my advice to you is to watch speed paintings on youtube ^w^ it helps me alot and helps me get inspired to draw even more.
