Gorgeous! :D This character has a wonderful color scheme, and the color choices for the background correspond perfectly, yet still provide enough contrast! ^-^ And while it can be frustrating to unintentionally draw the same poses over and over again, at least you'll have the opportunity to improve in sketching said pose by doing so. :3

Then again, when compared to your profile pic, I don't consider this as too identical a pose that I automatically think of that other painting, so I think you're good! X3 I kinda see what you mean, though. But there's enough variation.
