I acually liked having the tree on the left. I know, NOW I tell you. :P But the lighting and shading does work better if the left side is darker, like with a tree. Then the right side would be lit, maybe with an opening in a forest. I forget what those clear areas inside of forests are called..they have a name. And you can add flowers to the trees to add to the colors present in the foreground. Or you can ignore all that and go with what you feel is best. I believe in you! :)
