Yeah the stylus does take some getting used to- sometimes it even depends on the type of stylus or how much you use it; for example, ones with a rubber tip are usually lower quality- my favorite is either the plastic disk one of the microfiber tip, which is what I use :3

Even I have trouble writing sometimes, and I've used styluses for almost a year and a half.
