If I'm not mistaken, then her name is Pinkamena Pie. Pinkie is short for Pinkamena.

I've been watching the cartoon and seen Pinkie's hair go all straight like that when she get's depressed.
Also in the episode where the Cutie Mark Crusaders learned the stories about how Twighlight and the others got their marks, Pinkie had a flashback in which her mother called her Pinkamena, she was straight haired and living cheerlessly on a rock farm untill she witnessed a sonic rainboom, and it curled her hair and brought a smile to her.
I think the episode was called Cutie Mark Chronicals.
