graph a picture then put the same graph where you paint then sketch it hope that helps

Sketches usually help me :3 I draw in 2D anime though ...if you play back my drawings, you can see I do a quick sketch in a light color to help me draw things. Try sketching on the first//*********-depth layer and then use that to guide you. Add details to the lineart by using a layer above it. Erase interceptions and use the other layers to color. :3
