It hurts. I look at the left side of my body, and I see nothing. I turn my head to see a red, crystal-like arm and leg hanging above me.

The operation is over. I don't feel the same, because I am not. My eyes are red, my hair is longer, my real arm and leg are gone. I am not the Karuka I was.
