Sirius decided to take the time and finally change out of his sweater and into one of his new shirts, he decided to wear a lime green shirt.

Raven wandered in the direction that he assumed the port resided, and after navigating over several large sand dunes, he spied the bustling town, spotlighted by the noonday sun.

(pedro: Ooh, sounds fun! :D)

Sirius yelled out.
"Hey Toren you want a shirt instead of that poncho? I bought some stuff earlier that you can wear while you find a new wardrobe." He then looked at Kai's clothes that he found near some garbage; /This can be kept for emergencies/ he thought to himself.

(AP stands for Advanced Placement and eventually I qualify for some test or whatever for college credit :3)

( @artist pedro That's awesome! :o I have to take some extra classes this summer in order to be placed in AP classes. @Raksha That's okay. XD

Sirius casually sat down on the ground as he heard rapidly aproaching footsteps, he has done nothing wrong so why worry?

(I'm sitting here trying to not think of the pain and suffering of having to also take Dual Credit courses and consider my career choices :)

Sirius looks at a guard and all he has to say is a simple "Hi"

(I'm also done with science and just need one more math class as I'm advanced in that as well
Algebra 2 was meh, interesting but I got a little too lazy)

The arachnidian centaur took a step in the direction of the town, but paused when he looked at his feet. //I left my cloak back at the island,// Raven realized. //I can't just walk in there as I am now. Everybody will take notice of me.// He squinted at Porthouse's streets in an attempt to spy one of the survivors. //Where the heck did everybody go? If I could just get one of them to buy me a cloak... but why should I be relying on them?// Raven mused. //I'm on Vale now - I don't need to stick around with them. I could take off right now if I wanted to. And they wouldn't care if I left - I haven't even been of any help to them.//

Standing waist-deep in the velvety black ocean, Fiacail winced as the saline swells rushed up to the abrasion, the salt penetrating the wound. Embarrassment still clung to his current emotional state due to his having previously stuttered uncontrollably in the presence of the woman he was smitten with. He sighed./Typical of a fool of my calibre...But, at the least, I succeeded in making her smile./ His chest swelled with pride as the next wave seemed to wash away any remorse. Though it also stung quite terribly.

Sirius casually got up realizing the others left at the beach needed company.
He passed by the street vendor with the clothing again, realizing that more clothing couldn't hurt, he bought a pair of cloaks and a one more shirt, he still had quite a bit of money left as he saved up for the travel to Vale. He returned to the beach to see the rest still there.
"Hey guys how's it going?"

(Good ol Sirius being reliable, even if he did forget about Raven at first, lmao)

( @Pedro: Yeah, I know that, but that is probably what Raven should be thinking right now. xP Which is why I'm ready to scream SOMEBODY STOP RAVEN!! 'XD)

Sirius noticed a nearby tree branch and hung the new clothing he bought there, and also Kai's old clothes. He realized he didn't buy any bottoms, oh well.

Sirius sighed. "I just wanted to buy some clothing and such, I have plenty of money because I saved up, a LOT from miscellaneous jobs, also guards are probably chasing the others.
"Anyways if any of you need clothing I brought some, and can also buy some if needed."

Raven nodded his head in agreement with himself. //It slows me down to hang around with those guys. And if it weren't for the attack on our ship, I would've already been halfway across Vale. I never asked them to get involved with my life, so it will be their own fault if they are upset when I disappear.//
The centaur took a step away from the city and placed a foot in an inland direction, but paused yet again as doubts invaded his mind. //But they helped me off the island. Fiacail rescued all of us from drowning. I have barely even thanked them.//

Sirius grabbed one of the cloaks and yelled.
"Raven where are you dude? I got something for you."

(RAVEN'LL CUT OFF KAI'S NOSE SO HE CAN'T TRACK HIM >:D)

/Thank goodness that's taken care of.../ Fiacail allowed his shirt to cover his stomach once more, but jolted upon seeing the bloodstain, instantly reminding him of his requiring a new article of clothing. He made his way back to Adara, Porthouse just behind her. " Might there be an extra shirt around?" he glanced down at the splotch again.

Sirius smiled.
"Adara don't worry, I have no reason to leave, plus we're all friends aren't we?"

Sirius coughed and used both his arms as if saying "Ta-da" pointing out the articles of clothing he bought.

"Even though some seem to hate people, we are still friends deep down"

Raven's arachnidian feet shuffled indecisively on the sun-baked sand as he contemplated his options. //I can't stay with them forever. Maybe I can leave them something to show my gratitude?// Upon the thought, Raven checked the two saddlebags strapped to his cephalothorax and was relieved to discover that all their content had stayed in their places, including the rare tokens that he had achieved from his hunts back on Ethos. But as he reached into the leather bag, more doubts arose. //How will I get it to them? If I hand it over personally, they will cling on to me and not let go. I can't leave it anywhere, lest they never find it or a stranger takes it.// Raven scratched his head in a rising frustration.

(Pedro: True that. And Raven probably wouldn't cut Sirius' nose off. XD)

"Ah, I'll have to lend him my gratitude... And thank you as well. Though you're welcome to the jacket whenever necessary..." He paused as he looked past her at a lone, hooded figure. Fiacail then noticed Sirius calling out for someone.../Raven? Is he...taking his leave now?/

Sirius once again yelled out for Raven.
"RAVEN I GOT YOU SOMETHING HELPFUL, WHERE ARE YOU?!"
Raven was one of the few companions he did not have a definitive scent of.

As Malakai was following the others he picked up Raven's scent, sneaking away he followed it for quite a while until he saw Raven just standing there, he ran at him and leaped onto his back putting Raven in a choke hold "where you going stupid spider?" he teased

Raven jolted out of his thoughts when Sirius' voice rang across the sandy bank. //Cra.p,// he hissed as he peered over his shoulder in the direction of the call. He hesitated to move in either direction, his destination still undecided. He gritted his teeth. //I'm going to hate myself for this,// he thought as he finally turned around and headed in the direction of Sirius, Fiacail, and Adara.

(heck I'm so late again T-T)

Oh, he at least had to say farewell! "I believe Raven may be leaving us," he explained to the phoenix girl."Er, I'm sorry to desert you again, but it will only be but for a moment..." He scrambled in haste for a shirt, found a grayish-blue one, dressed, and sprinted after the disguised centaur. "Wait!"

(Blood: Oh gosh, is Raven still supposed to have Toren's sword? O_o Uhh, let's say he strapped it to his saddlebags and then forgot about it?)

As Raven trudged in the direction of the other, a person from nowhere suddenly tackled him from behind. His hand flashed towards the knife sheathed on his back, but he stopped himself when he recognized the voice of the stranger. "Get off of me, you stupid dwarf!" he growled instead.

Malakai laughed "make me" he growled in his ear, pressing his stomach against Raven's back. He wanted to fight someone he felt he stood a fair chance at beating.

(Whaley: Lol! He's oblivious to everything, isn't he? XD)

(When Sirius hasn't needed to fight anyone but is perfectly capable of fighting)

("A fair chance of beating"? What does that mean, you little jerk?)

( @Fady LOL Yup, just about. <X'D He isn't aware of any of the conflict amongst the characters. It's a funny coincedence that he was never really present during any of those times.)

Fed up with with the shapeshifter's persistence and needing to vent his stress, Raven grasped Malakai's arms, pulled them away from his neck, and twisted so that the shifter was flung over him.

(If Sirius put like, a blade or something on his staff to make a glaive he could easily kill someone)

(Whaley: Poor Fiacail is the most unfortunate of them all: he falls flat on his face upon arrival, fails to inform everybody that he was the one who had rescued them, and missed out on everything of importance. XD)

Malakai easily landed on his feet, still laughing, he taunted "is that all you've got" he crossed his arms grinning at Raven

(Blood: He don't know what he in for, bruh. B-)

(Pedro: Sirius needs to fight some time! I wanna see him in action! x])

Raven grinned back as he readied his spear in his hand. "You don't know when you're messing with a devil," he sneered.

(Is everybody just watching the two fight? Is this a normal thing for them already? XD)

(I'm watching them fight. XD *fades into background*)

Malakai had kept two of his daggers in his belt loop, he pulled them out and readied himself, "Bring it you overgrown pest" he snarled

(Here comes a real devil - or at least, she will be when she sees them locked in combat. XD)

Without hesitation, Raven leaned forwards and charged towards the shapeshifter, his feet kicking up sand in his wake. As he neared Malakai, he whipped his spear out, its stone point glistening in the sunlight.

"O-oh dear..." Fiacail gawked in disbelief. /Whyever are those two fighting? I've not been alerted to there being any bad blood betwixt them...Is this what Adara was referring to?/ Reluctantly deciding to break up the quarrel, he raced even quicker towards Malakai and Raven. "I may not know as to what this violence is about, but surely it is not worth bloodshed!"

Malakai ignored Fiacail, charging at Raven he was careful to avoid his spear, he twisted to the side slashing at Raven's abdomin, intending to make contact

Sirius was rather unamused by the fighting and took out the small cylinder that was his compact staff, if this got too far he would use the good ol discipline stick.

Sirius looked at Adara.
"Say the word and you may use what I will now call the discipline stick!"

Not hearing Fiacail's exclamation, Raven raised one arachnidian leg, blocking Malakai's attack with his armor-like exoskeleton. As he did so, he unsheathed his knife with lightning speed and brought it down towards the shapeshifter's back.

(I know Raven and Kai need to be stopped, but I don't want this to end yet. XD)

Malakai wasn't quick enough as he pulled back, Raven's blade slashed his shoulder, he hissed, angery at his own slowness. Completely ignoring everyone else he slash higher this time, aiming at Raven's chest

(For all you know this can be a three way conflict if someone else joined in and one of them lashed out at them)

(Pedro: That would be hilarious XD)

Raven reared back in an attempt to dodge the shifter's blade, but he was unable to clear enough distance and recieved a scratch on the stomach. Gritting his teeth, he used his other hand to attack with his spear, intending to strike Malakai with it.

( @Kole# Ooh, snap! CX)

Before the centaur's spear could make contact with his opponent, it was snatched away from him with piercing talons. At the same time, brilliantly-colored wings beat hot air at the two combatants, and Raven stumbled backwards in surprise.

(Kai started it, after all - Raven was just defending himself)

Sirius extended his staff and while the rest where having their fight he whapped them on the head simply saying "SHUSH" as he did so.
And he didn't hold back at all with his strikes.
(So he may have possibly knocked someone out if he wanted to)

Raven gazed with wide eyes at the phoenix as it succeeded in separating the two boys. //Where did that bird come from?// he pondered.

Fiacail felt frustration course through him. /First Malakai ambushes my friend, then utters slander against the love of my life...No, I must...keep my composure... Mustn't resort to rashness... Oh, darn it all!/ "Hey! Let my best friend alone! And how dare you insult the woman I lo-" He barely managed to refrain from completing that sentence and reached for his own dagger.

(Welp I guess Sirius's shushing will be ignored)

Raven gritted his teeth in frustration. //These people - all of them! Can't they mind their own business?// Although he was painfully aware of the scratch that he had recieved during their fiht, the centaur had found his tussle with Malakai to be surprisingly refreshing, for it had distracted him from his guilt and indecision.

(Pedro: Ah sorry I kinda missed it! D:)

(I'm going to imagine that Toren and Dorian returned to the place where everybody had been last and discovered that nobody was there. XD)

Sirius gave up on the conflict and just walked over to one of the hanging cloaks and tossed it onto Raven.
He then sat down and removed his eyes, removing his eyeballs and putting them in his pockets not wanting to deal with anything.

(Adara is so cool... *o*)

Fiacail's anger gave way to guilt as Malakai dashed off./He's just a lad...Somehow I feel as though, deep in his heart, he does not mean any of this.../ "What have we done...?"

*I done?"

Sirius then recalled Toren still had his poncho.
He asked for it back and handed Toren a shirt, he flipped it into a vest and put it on, while still blind. He pulled out his stored scarf and used it to wrap his head to muffle his ears. This is what he called "Alone time"

(Sirius don't want to deal with any of this)

Raven stared silently at the retreating phoenix until a dark shape flew towards him from the corner of his eye. He jolted as the cloak that Sirius had thrown slapped into him, and he fumbled to remove it from his face and held it out to inspect it. He blinked in stunned surprise at the dark wool material in his hand, then glanced at Sirius. //He got this for me?// he pondered. //Did he really think that far?//

Malakai's heart had never hurt this much in his entire life, he walked behind a few trees and sat down, resting his forehead on his knees he wiped an endless flood of tears away as his body shook. //I don't understand// he cried

"Malakai," Fiacail dropped his weapon, his voice quivering, "You are better than this... I know that from experience...From being your friend...I consider you one. Why do you two resent each other so much? We've all travelled together, united by common goals and...our differences. You are not alone."

Malakai didn't expect Fiiacail to be there "I'm useless and cause fights when I'm angry" he cried "they all hate me!" he hugged his knees tightly to his chest

The cetacean shapeshifter's heart was pounding as he strode to where the boy sobbed, and hesitantly placed a hand on Malakai's small shoulder. "There,there... For what it's worth, I forgive you."

Malakai felt warmed by Fiacail's touch, he got up holding Fiacail's hand. //I should apologize to Raven and Adara// his body trembled as he walked out from behind the trees.

Sirius could only hear faint sobbing and talking with his muffled ears, he decided to lie down on the sand.

(Back! It seems like it's kind of ending, but this is the absolute worst time to stop. DX Shall we continue or no?)

Malakai's feet sunk into the sand as he walked, //I'll give Adara time to cool down// he thought as he trudged around miserably the word 'useless' echoing in his mind

Stiffly, Raven slung the cloak Sirius had given around his shoulders and tucked his legs in until he looked like an ordinary human. He then approached the coyote shapeshifter, who had his fac in his hands and was wrapped up in a scarf. Not knowing whether Sirius would hear or not, Raven forced words out of his mouth and said, "Hey... thanks. For the cloak, that is." Not knowing what else to say, Raven turned in the direction of the town. "I'm gonna head to Porthouse," he informed before heading off at a slow pace.

Malakai saw Raven heading towards the Port, he hesitantly walked up beside him, he stroked his hand through his hair as he said "Sorry for attacking you like that Raven" he felt a little awkward as he matched pace with Raven

Even with his ears muffed he could still make out Raven's words.
"Stay Safe." is what he told Raven, he then went back to doing nothing and staying silent.

Raven glanced at Malakai from the corner of his eye before returning his gaze to the path ahead. "Don't apologize to me," he finally said, his features emotionless. "You were just having fun."

Fiacail watched Malakai walk alongside Raven and smiled. "That's more like it," he whispered to himself amusedly, then it dawned on him that Raven really was going to go on without them and eventually decided to catch up.

(Sirius my child. q.q)

(Whaley: Hey, you're still here! It's so quiet that I'm wondering if people are leaving Dx)

"Why, hello," he greeted. "It's wonderful to hear that you two have made up. May I follow you a bit of the way, if you don't mind?"

Malakai whipped around as he heard Fiacail, "sure" he chimed feeling a little better.

A small grin played across Raven's stony features. "That's what you get for calling me 'stupid spider'" he teased. "And I don't mind you tagging along." The sound of Fiacail's boots hurriedly shuffling over sun-baked sand could be heard from behind the two, and the centaur paused to let the cetacean shapeshifter catch up. "Looks like he will be as well," he added.

(Of course I know that, Blood. XD But what about pedro? :o)

Malakai walked excitedly between the two. "First I need to get this patched up so I don't stain a new shirt or bleed out" he rubbed his chin, pretending to be serious.

(Blood: He can clean and bandage that once they reach Porthouse; everybody knows that asking Adara to do the job would be foolish. XD)

"Speaking of, what did you do to your first shirt?" he inquired nonchalantly. "Pick a fight with somebody and end up with it in shreds?"

"No" he giggled "I got angry at the guards who surrounded me, Toren and Dorian. So I shifted into my wolf form shredding it"

"Many thanks," he paused to catch his breath,"So, you're really diverging from the group this time? I'd like to come with you...but a fool in love such as myself tends to make foolish decisions...Wherever Adara goes, I must follow... and better yet, there's a chance my sentiments are returned. But, as you are my best friend,and you Malakai, too, are a great ally, some proper farewells should be in order."

(Ah true that. O: Wait - if Fiacail knows healing, then why did he let Adara fix up the scrape on his belly? That manipulative little... XD)

Fiacail blushed and chuckled nervously. "Hah...let's not rub it in, shall we?" He turned to Raven. "Where are you headed?" he had been curious for a while now.

"Well, aren't you cheery so soon," Raven commented with a roll of his eyes, but a hint of amusement daced in his voice as he spoke. He then informed Fiacail, "We won't be leaving permanentally. I'm just going to stock up on supplies and the sort."

"That's a relief," Fiacail exhaled. "Even if you were, though, I'm sure we'd meet again, somehow. You're not quite so easy to avoid, Spidey. To think that we have bonded as closely as we have..."

Raven raised a brow at Malakai as the shapeshifter flusteredly pucked up his pace. "Close?" he said to Fiacail. "I would have said that we were mere acquaintances..." Raven held back from saying that he does not, nor will ever, have friends. Hidden from his own awareness, that was why Raven so desired to stay apart from his fellow Survivors, lest he become attached to them.

(Lol, you guys. XD)

Malakai reached the edge of the Port, "where to first?" he looked around as his back stung with each muscle movement. "Guess for me a quick stop at the doctors"

Sirius decided he had enough 'alone time' and got up, unwrapping his scarf and putting his eyes back in his socket.
He picked up all the clothes he had hanging and neatly folded them for storage in his pockets.

"It's just been awhile since I've made a friend. Sure, I revel in the company of my pod and other cetaceans I've befriended, but some years have passed from the time I last did so. It's comforting to have individuals such as you around...You even helped me conquer my fear! And Kai, I feel, as a fellow shapeshifter, we share some means of connection."

"Yes, you take care of yourself...I may have some currency in my coat pocket if you are in need of coin,"Fiacail informed Malakai.

(Wait where are they? because as far as I know Sirius is still at the beach)

Malakai glanced back at Fiacail "I guess so" he spotted a hospital close by and headed into it "Be back shortly" he waved his hand at them.

Despite himself, Raven chuckled a bit. "Perhaps so," he said as he recalled his first meeting with the cetacean shifter. He had screamed and gone as white as a ghost upon seeing Raven, and now he conversed normally with him.
"I'll be buying provisions for our journey," he informed Malakai. "You have money?"

(Pedro: They just arrived at Porthouse. XD)

Malakai dug into his pockets, pulling out wads of cash, "pro's of being a pickpocket" he grinned

(And hey, you guys think we should be wrapping up soon? We ought not to do too much when it's just the four of us.)

After rolling his eyes at the mischevious shifter, Raven turned to Fiacail. "What will you be doing?"

(Blood: Well, we aren't bending the plot at all, so I guess we are fine. XD But I do need to sleep sooner or later. -u-)

"Keep rolling your eyes, you won't be able to roll them back one of these days" he joked.

"Goodness..."Fiacail's eyes were glued to the astonishing amount of money the mischievous noy had amassed."I discovered that I only have enough for a few meals...'Tis a good thing we're all together, eh?"

"Hmm, I may purchase some materials for the group as well as for myself. I'm a craftsman, you see..."

(XD *boy, not noy! I apparently need to sleep...)

Malakai chuckled at Fiacail's reaction, he stuff the money back in his pockets. "Eat or clothing?" he poncered aloud.

(I have the strangest feeling that'll be Raven's nickname for Kai now... XD Probably not.)

(I'll stay on a bit longer. ^-^ I think we're almost done.)

Malakai slumpt on the ground, "I'll follow you guys" he played with his bandages

Raven rolled his eyes again in spite of Malakai's warning. "Interesting," the centaur said in reply. He held himself back from asking how Fiacail managed to craft trinkets with flippers. "I've got some items which I can suffice as currency, though I'm not sure how much Valenians will offer for them - I have only bartered in Ethos."

(I'm not tired, but I'm going on a long road trip tomorrow morning so I need to reserve myself time to pack. I should have been doing that during the RP, but it's just been too interesting. XD)

(We're visiting Washington D.C. to see family friends and go touring in areas that we used to live in. :3)

"Hm...given that the two kingdoms have been at war,I'm not sure by now. I've never been to Ethos, either, so I would not know how the currencies would compare."He shrugged, wishing he could be more useful as the only Valenian in the group.

"Your ship was more than halfway to Vale when I found it. As for my place of dwelling, that would alternate between the North Vale Islands and wherever my pod travels. I occasionally swim off on my own, though."

Malakai noticed Sirius walk out of the Forest, he waved him over. "Join us" he smiled //I haven't really talked to him since the island// he trotted over and stood beside Sirius

Sirius rummaged more through his pocket to show he had the extra clothes. "If you guys buy stuff just keep it stored safely with this dude."

Malakai rubbed his chin "do any of us have a real home anymore? We travelled to a new land, to escape the war, I'd say 6/7 of us would be homeless right now" he sighed

"For a decade I lived wherever, aka I'm homeless." Sirius said this jokingly, he never minded that fact.

"I'll keep that in mind," Fiacail told Sirius.He thought silently for a moment before deciding to tell Raven,"My mother was killed during a raid, and my father disappeared...Ah, but I-I've told you this already, right?"

"Well the 25 years I've been alive I spent homeless and alone, so I guess this isn't much difference, except I'm not alone anymore" that thought cheered him up

"I lost my mother at the tender age of 6 and actually saw the culprit be brought to justice."
Sirius paused for a bit trying to recolect his thoughts.
"The dwarf who did it actually asked for my forgiveness, I did forgive them and just accepted that life is just suprising."

(Yeah, I feel that if Trump is elected, at least that'll hopefully get the rest of Congress to realize just what the country's come to and it'll try to cooperate and redeem itself...and get Trump impeached somehow. XD If not, we're doomed... JK)

"First time I remember hearing it," the centaur responded almost too honestly to Fiacail. (he wasn't listening the first time...)
Then turning to Malakai, Raven asked, "You've lived more than twenty-five years? I never would've guessed, with your height..." A devilish smirk crawled up his cheek. "And maturity."

Malakai stood up, there was still so much he had to do, first he'd start by getting a new shirt, the rest would come later. Though he had to wonder where their destinies lay. He walked to the front of everyone, looking towards the beautiful shining lights of the city. A grin spread across his face as he turned towards Fiacail, Sirius and Raven "What are we waiting for? Let's go!" he took the lead into the city as the others followed close behind him...
