A song that makes me think of Maldius is "Bad Blood" by Creature Feature, I don't remember all the lyrics, but I do remember that it reminds me of Maldius.

Well, apart from one part of the song where the singer talks about "yearning for the day that my life's snuffed out", Creature Feature's Bad Blood makes me think of Maldius. He's actually manipulated time and his own body enough to the point he doesn't age physically, essentially making him eternal... like another purple dragon we know ;)
