backstory: zynx grew up in a large mountain, where 3 groups/tribes/idkwhattocallthem lived. the lucarios, the greninjas, & the zoruarks. of course, members of each of their evolutionary line lived there, too. they once were all peaceful towards eachother. until one day, a lucario didnt watch where he was aiming during training & hit a greninja with aura spere. the lucario & a greninja got into a fight since the greninja was so mad. the lucario ended up winning, going too far & accidentally killing the greninja. the greninjas got enraged with the lucarios, saying they were monsters. later, young zorua pulled pranks on some lucarios for fun. unfortuanetly, the lucario got angry at the zoruas & attacked them all. the little zoruas escaped & told their guardians about it. the zoruarks got mad at the lucarios, calling them harsh beings. the lucarios were always blamed for all the problems that went on with the greninjas & zoruarks.

out of rage, the lucarios declared war on the 2 clans/tribes/stilldontknowwhattocallthem, & zynx happened to be in the war. the greninjas & zoruarks teamed up against the lucarios, & eventually lost due to both of their weaknesses against fighting types. although the lucarios won, their territory still got wept away, many family members gone & many homes destroyed. zynx was a survivor with minor injuries, those being permanent scars on his right arm & left eye, his chest-spike was damaged, the tip of his ear was ripped ((which was stitched back on)) & his left eye cant see that well ((everything is blurry on that eye)), thanks to that deep scar he recieved. despite that however, he still keeps it open & the damage on that eye isnt that noticable at all actually.

while zynx was helping poor riolu & lucario who got hurt, he noticed one in particular who was crying, no family to be seen. zynx was convinced that his parents died during the war & decided to adopt him as his own. when he offered, the riolu accepted it. zynx decided to name the riolu bandrio. ever since then, zynx & bandrio have been living together. :3

you may be asking "how did his love for cookies start?"
welp, heres your answer:
when zynx was just a little riolu, before he found the lucario tribe/clan/group, he walked around in the city every day, looking for food in trash cans since the humans didnt give him anything. however, one young boy noticed zynx & thought he looked hungry, so he came up to him. zynx was scared at first, but then realized the boy is harmless. the boy than gave him a cookie. zynx had never seen a cookie before. when he first ate it, he fell in love, & cherished every bite of that dear cookie. & thats how his love for them came to be! :p

oh, & when i say "zynx GREW UP in the mountain", i mean zynx found the lucario tribe when he was 10 & lived with them for the rest of his life. :3
