More or less '^' You see, there's two Layton Trilogy: The first is on DS and the second on 3DS. In the first Trilogy, the order doesn't really matter. If you didn't play the first, it's okay. For the second, it's also okay if you don't play in order, but I reaaaaaaally recommend to people to play the games in order 'cause there's a big surprise at the end of the game about Layton's family -u-
The first game (the Curious Village) is bad in my opinion, there's nothing interesting in the story or anything. It just introduces Layton's adopted daughter, Flora. But in the other games she will be totally useless so we don't care about her okay? xD Her only function is to be kidnapped all the time lol
:'D YEAH THAT'S TRUE puzzles are really like pokemon battle... Also, to stop you, villains always ask Layton to solve a hard puzzle, and when you solve it, they're like: "Oh no! He solved my ultimate puzzle! D: What will I do??"

It's a bit ridiculous but that's why I love this game xDD It can be really smart and really silly at the same time
