Toren yawned as he soared above the whales, keeping an eye on everyone as the coused through the water.

( @Blood: Daww, thank ye! And I enjoy drawing him *u*)

( @Fady Yeah, that is a rather cool real life-ish comparison. CX)

Sirius was excited to be able to cross something off his bucket list, which was to ride a whale.

Raven, bored to the point of death, scanned the horizon for the hundredth time for any signs of land. His back was well beyond cramping from having squatted on the back of a whale for so long.

Malakai was starting to feel restless and sore sitting on the Whale, he stretched and let out an enormous yawn. //Let's hope we get there soon...//

( @Whaley: Haha, definitely! It's like our own characters reflect ourselves! I wonder if we would fight if we met irl...)

It had been a fairly long flight but feeling the wind beneith his stretched out wings filled him with a sense of peace. This was the best part about being a dragon. Suddenly a glint of light caught Torens eye and he perked his ears up and raised his head slightly. /Shore!/ He thought and made a slight noise to try and get the others attention. Finaly shore was only a short distance away!

Fiacail pumped his flukes to match his pace accordingly to Ngaio's when she emitted a small squeak. "Fiacail/land calf, my echo/sound map has bounced off shallow sand and hollow figures...we/have nearly arrived."
The shapeshifter's eyes glimmered with excitement. "Then I shall relay/inform the others this instant, Mother/Ngaio." He breached as a means of providing such a signal.

Sirius sat patiently, while it was something exciting, he was getting tired of being out at sea for so long wondering.
/How do sailors handle being out at sea this long?/

Malakai felt his body shrink and feathers sprouted from his skin, a few seconds later he was a falcon, perched on the back of a whale, he was careful not to scratch the whale with his sharp talons. Spreading his wings he felt a rush of wind buffet him. The way it ruffled his feathers felt euphoric.

Malakai flapped his wings, taking off in the sky like a bullet fired from a gun, he flew up to the others, and shot straight past them, with his enhanced vision, he could make out land. Pumping his powerful wings, he soon lost sight of the others, //I want to be the first to Vale!// he let out an excited screech

Fiacail could sense Uhina at his left flank quizzically tilting her head the slightest bit for a fleeting moment, then clicked her approval. "Pod brother/Fiacail, land calves surely have some strange rituals/habits, but whatever these 'boots' are, I will oblige/would be glad to guard them, if it makes this one/land calf happy," she beamed.

(poor Uhina xD at least she's nice!)

Toren let out a sort of excited growl as he saw the beach was is sight and watched as Malakia raced past. The excitement woke him from his bored glide and made him flap his powerful large wings increasing his speed. For a moment Toren had forgoten that Dorian was still clinging to the plates on his back. It was so close!

(Ah, sorry for disappearing!)

Raven blinked at Malakai when the shapeshifter darted ahead of them in a falcon form. The centaur's confusions were cleared when he witnessed the land with his own eyes. Stretching far across the horizon resided the sparkling shores of Vale, waves lapping upon its clean sands. //Finally,// Raven thought in relief, his back straightening.

Malakai arrived above the port, circling it //Toren can't show up here, he'll give everyone a heart attack!// flying away from the port he found a clearing by the sea surrounded by trees. He started circling it, letting out loud screeches.

Sirius remembered he actually had money on him so he could actually begin anew in Vale.
Hopefully he could find new clothes because a sweater and poncho aren't the most ideal things for warm weather.

Toren saw Malakia move off towards a clearing. A part of him wanted to land in town just to mess with a few people for kicks, he laughed to himself. but he knew his identity and life were more important than a bit of fun and so he swerved in the direction of Malakai. /....Wait a second..../ Toren looked over at the land, and over his shoulder at Dorian and gave him a sort of concerned look thinking /....i may have forgotten how to land..../

Malakai saw how close everyone was now, he also heard Adara's chirping, he stop his screeching and started doing arial sumersaults, he chirped with excitement and he enjoyed his freedom

(R.I.P. Dorian.)

Malakai sensed something was up, he felt a sort of panic in the air. He flew over to Adara, Toren & Dorian, tilting his head quizically.

Fiacail used his own echolocation and in realization of his findings discovered that his pod could not traverse that much further inshore without risk of stranding. Vale's harbor coast was merely a mile or less away. To avoid his family being placed in danger, the group would have to cover the last few yards on their own... but how could he tell them that, exactly? He unfortunately is not in control of speaking and being understood in his cetacean form.

Toren squinted a bit and grined a little /Hold on tight then/ he thought. He straightened out his head and flatened his ears. /Landing cant be that hard/ He began to bring his legs forward as they approached the clearing.

Sirius decided to check his poncho's contents but didn't want to rumage with the pockets on the inside.
He flipped his poncho inside out wanting easy pocket access, but what ended up happening was suddenly instead of a poncho it was now a vest.
/Even I didn't expect this/
He put it on, it was nice and comfortable.

(Oh, wait... XD Raven is currently the only one riding a whale...)

Malakai saw Toren grin //great, can the big ohf even land?// he watched from the safety of the sky, flinching inwardly as Toren started to land.

Malakai saw the whale's were close enough, gliding down, he shifted back and quickly dressed himself. Feeling his pocket, he could still feel the Artifact inside. "Thanks Uhina" he said as he lept into the water.

Malakai sank into the water, Toren's satchel floated up, he gripped it has it hit his face. He cursed through bubbles as his flung it feebly away. Glancing over he noticed Raven sitting awkwardly on a Whale, he grinned.

Still underneith the water, Malakai quickly tighed the satchel around himself and from the dark waters swam carefully towards Raven

Toren huffed as they approached spreading out his large wings infront of him and beating down as they approached the ground. He stretched out his legs underneith him, /oh cr.ap/ He thought just before hitting the ground. /Too fast!/ Withnthat he tripped over his own legs and landed square on his chin and chest, skidding accross the ground. Covered in sand and with his tail in face. /welp... that wasnt too bad/ he thought.

Sirius sat bored waiting to get on shore.

"Fiacail/land calf, this is as far as we/the iwi tohora can go. But whomever shall assist this one/ten-limbed land calf? I worry, as he does not seem suited for the sea..."
After fighting his amusement, Fiacail thought and responded," Don't worry, Mother/Ngaio. I will tow him in to shore." "I shall leave him/this one to you, then, my child." She gently eased Raven off her back, Fiacail immediately swimming to his side, gesturing with his side fin for the centaur to take hold of it.

Sirius noticed a now gone Raven, he thought to himself.
/Am I the only one on a whale now?/

(Back, sorry again! I'm having difficulty getting out of another RP. Oh gosh @Blood XD)

Toren let out a groan and then shook of the sand as he shifted back into his human form with the sound of cracking as his body changed. 'Ah' he rubbed the back of his neck. 'that hurt' he sighed.

Malakai was about to pull off Raven when he saw Fiacail help him, //boo, no fun// popping his head above the surface he saw Sirius and waved to him

Sirius yelled out.
"Do I have to swim to shore?"

( @Blood Hybrid Oh no. XD Well, I just figured it'd be the easiest way, since Raven is as, um, impaired as he is when it comes to swimming. @artist pedro Sirius can swim, right? They've almost made it to shore, so he won't have to go far.)

(Malakai's just havin' fun in the water haha)

Malakai swam over to Sirius, "come on, it's fun!" he grinned playfully, splashing Sirius

(GAH MAKE UP YOUR MIND PEOPLE!!)

(Sirius can swim but usually he ends up smelling like wet dog afterward)
Sirius sighed
"Ok but please don't splash me." He jumped off into the water. He didn't have trouble swimming, it was rather simple.

( @Blood: Oh, that's right... well, I'm deleting that comment anyways xP)

"Alright" Malakai hummed "First to shore wins!" he took off swimming

"ahh your fine, Dont be so soft" Toren looked over to dorian before getting to his feat and stretchging out his legs and arms, 'ugh, im stiff from flying all all the way here, its been a long time since i flew." He looked around. "well... the town of Porthouse is in that direction. perhaps it would be best to head there for supplies and food. Torens stomach groweled.

Sirius decided to swim at his own pace but eventually catched up to Malakai anyways, as he passes he said
"I'm not even trying." and passed him.

(Toren still needs cover for le gem for when they enter town)

Raven began to protest, but he was cut off when he hit the cold water. For a moment, he was sinking, and panic began to course through him. His legs kicked out in a desperate attempt to surface until one foot grazed sand beneath the waves. Relieved, Raven let himself sink to the sea floor to let all eight of his limbs settle on the sand before kicking out, sending him in the direction of the shore.

"Neither Am I" he sputtered as water sprayed into his mouth "I'd win if I was in my wolf form!" he coughed as he reached shore

(How is Raven supposed to swim? Most spiders are able to run on the surface of water, but Raven is obviously too heavy...)

Surprised that Raven had declined his invitation to help him to shore, Fiacail still kept a close watch on him in the case that he started to sink. Meanwhile, he could hear the members of his pod clicking their farewells, their vocalizations becoming increasingly distant.

Toren watched the others race to the shore. Before realizing his heart was exposed and blushed slihtly before covering it with his hand. "hurry up Malakai!" he shouted out. I know you have my satchel and sword! I have an extra shirt in there!"

Malakai waded out of the water and his clothing felt insanely heavy now that it was drenched. He untied the satchel and slung it over his shoulder. Walking up to a tree he pressed his palm to it and spat out some sea water. //Yuck!//

"Give - Me - A - Minute!" he gasped angrily at Toren

Sirius reached shore and decided to rest and dry, he didn't enjoy being this wet.

Toren thanked Sirius for the poncho, wringing out the water and throwing it over his head. "thanks" he said to sirius covering up his gem. "ill get it back to you once i find some clothes." Toren then waited for Malakai to get his satchel back.

Malakai took the satchel off "I'm heading to the port now, I need some new clothes" he threw the satchel at Toren and quickly started through the forest. //I forgot it was his and I took something from him!// his heart raced as he started runningg through the trees in a blind momentary panic

( @Whaley: Whoops, I missed Fiacail's offer! Since I honestly can't figure out how Raven's gonna make it ashore, maybe his attempts fail and Fiacail decides to help him anyways?)

Toren huffed. /no need to throw it/ he thought. picking it up off of the sand and opening it up to drain the water from it. His heart stopped for a moment... the artifct... it was gone. Torens eyes shot up in Malakais direction and he let out a low growl "theif!" he snarled

Using the boost that he had given himself, Raven kicked out with his legs in an attempt to glide along the surface of the water, but he found that he was horribly imbalanced and much too heavey, and soon he was sinking once agan. Having never swam before, Raven began to panic as one attempt after anither failed. //Curse this body!// he hissed to himself as he struggled to right himself..

Sirius decided to follow Malakai, but before he did.
"Hey umm, Toren in the pocket there should be some money, could you please give it to me, I'll follow Malakai and probably buy some things if I can."

Malakai's heart was about to burst from his chest, his lungs throbbed as he raced out of the forest, reaching the edge of the port he disappeared among the people. Racing through them towards the heart of the city

Toren groweled. He quickly searched the pockets of the poncho and handed the money to sirius before taking off on Malakais trail.

(Here comes the agitated killer dragon! Run little Malakai..!)

Sirius took the money, put it in his pants pocket and headed to the port.
"Everyone else coming? Or should we wait for our friend the sea salty spider and Fiacail?"

Although Fiacail had expected this to be the outcome of Raven's futile, awkward attempts, he still felt a jolt of sudden alarm as the centaur's weight started to prevail over them and hurriedly raced to his side, nudging the spider boy's arm until it was draped across his back. He started once again for shore, which was only so many feet away.

"Toren's going to k!ll me!" he gasped in his blind panic, he stopped in the center of the city. //I need a new outfit// turning he saw a clothing shop, after buying his new outfit, he changed behind the store. He removed the Artifact and threw his old clothes in the trash. Placing the Artifact in his new pants pocket, he threw his hood up and disappeared amungst the people. //God don't let Toren find me!//

Toren dashed out of the forest and stopped at the cities edge, a fe citizens who wete caught off gaurd jumped at the sight of a tall horned man with a dangerous look on his face and backed off. Toren looked around frantically through the crowds. He sniffed the air and twitched his ears for any sign of him before taking off again through the crouds. there was, perhaps, a faint smell of wolf in the air.

Sirius casually entered the town getting some wierd looks but he didn't mind. He noticed a vendor selling some clothing.
"Yes hello sir do you have anything with short sleeves?" he asked.
The man nodded and pointed to some t-shirts. Sirius picked out two and bought them.
"Thank you sir." He of course payed and went on to search for Malakai.
He sniffed for him but was distracted by a food stand.
He bought some food and a drink, he was glad to have a normal meal.
He kept searching, only to be distracted by a place selling various knick knacks, but he bought nothing.
With the recently bought shirts in hand, he kept searching.

Sirius eventually tracked a scent to some trash, and Malakai's old clothes.
He defenitely didn't shape shift though if he's carrying something. He picked up the clothes for later storage just in case.

Malakai ran into an abandoned building to catch his breath and calm himself, "what do I do!?" he repeated this in a quite fearfilled whisper. Tears pricked at the edges of his eyes, //I don't want to die!// he let out a small sob

(Sirius could easily lose all his money if he didn't have his priorities)

Fiacail's aquadynamic form cut through the remaining waves like an arrow as he felt his stomach scrape against the gritty sand of a familiar shore. As soon as he returned to his anthropormorphic form, he grunted as he staggered to his feet. Fiacail then helped Raven steady himself whilst clenching his abdomen where he'd suffered an abrasion from the roughness of the sand." Are you alright?" he managed to ask concerningly. "I apologize for not having informed you that I was about to do that..." he removed his flipper from his stomach and made a horrific notion as he noticed a scarlet splotch beginning to stain his shirt. "Oh goodness...I'm bleeding!"

("oh goodness im bleeding" that sounds funny to me)

"He stole it!" Toren growled, "That way!" he bared his teeth and almost ran straight into sirius through the crowds of people. Sirius smelled like Malakai, but he still wasnt here! People around town were a bit more on edge now, and some had notifyed the guards about an odd group of 'magic bloods' who had entered town. But to Toren this was of little concern, he could only think of retrieving what was taken from him.

Sirius kept tracking the scent of Malakai as he ate a gyro. (why a gyro? why not?)
He eventually followed the scent to an old building but decided to just wait outside for something to happen.

(Agh, sorry for disappearing again! This is an unfortunate time for me to be roleplaying T-T)

Toren looked up to the abandond buildings top floors and snarled again, "Malakai!" he shouted out "i know your in their!!" Quickly he jumped up onto the side of the building and begain to scale its walls with his sharp claws that had begun to imerge. He figured coming in from the window would give him an advantage as Malakai would probavly suspect him coming from the stairs.

Just before Raven's head submerged beneath the salty waves, the smooth surface of Fiacail's flank brush against his side, and suddenly the centaur was pulled to the surface. Blinking in surprise, Raven gaped at the shapeshifter for his unexpected actions before clamping his mouth shut and kicking his legs in an attempt to lighten Fiacail's load. Before long, his feet struck the shore's sand, and he made his way out of the water. "Thanks," he gasped as he reached the shallows.

( Well, it tachnically is in character given that he also is occasionally sarcastic. CX Though I think he'd react more strongly in a graver situation. X'D)

Malakai's heart sank as he heard Toren call him, rage evident in voice. He tried to say something, but nothing came out. He then heard something scaling the building, Malakai's whole body trembled with fear, he pressed himself against a wall.

Raven finally reached dry sand, and he turned around to properly thank Fiacail, but stopped when he noticed the blood on the shape-shifter's shirt.

Sirius finished his gyro and just decided to observe the conflict.

Toren reached the window and perched on the sill, light flooding in from behind him, stretching his sadow across the abandoned floor. (oooo good picture idea ima work on) A low growling came from Toren as he looked slowly around the room. "just give it back Malakai... this doesn't need to result in a fight" Toren knew he would calm down once the artifact was back in his possession.

Raven coughed, his throat stinging from the salty water before replying, "I'm fine." Suddenly emberrassed that he had needed to be helped, Raven's cheeks reddened. "I'm fine, really," he repeated as he turned in the direction of the port, but he stood still, unsure if he should leave them behind or not.

"Y-y-you w-won't kill me?" his voice echoed from the darkness. He stared at Toren as he was perched in the window, Toren hadn't seemed to have spotted him yet.

Sirius leaned against a wall humming to himself and speaking to himself.
"You guys need to chill, I think if this artifact is so important it should be kept with whoever isn't agressive, as in me, also because magic pockets are very helpful."

(Sirius is so laid-back and carefree XD)

(I just realized Toren as a dragon would fit into monster hunter, considering most things that aren't elder dragons are wyverns)

Toren just glanced down at Sirius with a glare, his dragon side being too posessive to just let someone else hold it without having his complete trust. he turned his attention back into the room. "i wont kill you if you just give it back slowly...i, i cant help my posessive nature. Just dont do anything stupi.d, you really dont want to be hunted by a dragon." Toren attempted to coax Malakai while still keeping himself under control.

(ima have to go soon guys! i have a bunch of things i need to get done for tomorrow)

Fiacail started off towards the nearest water source, though obviously not without some reluctance, as the salt of the sea would sting the affected area. He stopped for a moment, however, to tell the flame-haired girl in awe," Still... I cannot believe the length of time you held onto my jacket. It means...a lot to me, Miss Adara. Thank you."

Malakai inched away from the wall, taking a few babysteps towards Toren, just barely coming into view of the Dragon. He pulled the Artifact out and held it in his small bony hands. He couldn't will himself to move any further, he stared at Toren, his blue&green eyes lit with fear

Toren sat still, perched on the windows edge as his slit ice blue eyes kept a constant gaze on Malakai. He didnt want to make any sudden moves and spook him, but he also didnt want to set himself off. He watched carefully as Malakai got as close as he dared before stopping. "slide it over" Toren said. the growling starting to fade.

Raven nodded awkwardly at the orange-haired girl before finally making his way towards the port, his legs gliding effortlessly over the sands. After being reminded of his arachnid lower body, Raven determined to buy himself a new cloak.

The burning pain in his stomach had blossomed into a warm fuzziness at this point upon seeing a radiant smile play upon Adara's beautiful features, more so because it was him who could be held responsible for it. This time around, Fiacail couldn't disguise a profuse blush, which he thought before to be impossible in this transformation. "Oh, well, I... er..." he struggled to find words. ANY words. "I c-couldn't do any less for you..." His attention returned to his injury of which had almost stopped bleeding entirely. "I-if you'll excuse me, I, uh... must tend to this..." he turned towards the ocean and waded.

Malakai listened to what Toren said, he glanced down at the Artifact and at the same time kept an eye on Toren. //I feel weird, like this silly treasure is possessing me in a way// he screwed up his face in pain //just let it go// he willed, it was almost like he wasn't in control of his own movements. He stared back up at Toren //let it go!// his body finally listened and before he could fully process it, he'd dropped the Artifact....
