i don't know. I'm leaning more towards #teamrowlet because of the fact that for XY, I got Fennekin, and For ORAS, I got mudkip, and I want a pattern, y'know?
To be honest, i might have to wait and see playthroughs of the gyms before I really, truly, pick. ugh -_-
