He is the offspring of a non-soulmates human man and an earth spirit's. His father has no recollection of this union but all of his memory from when he was spirited away came back when he found an abandoned newborn child outside of his doorstep. That child was Audley.
Despite already having a family, the man took responsibility for Audley with his wife and his three children immediately becoming smitten with the halfling.
Audley lives in a village in a kingdom situated up north, that village is timming of halflings from different bonded creatures. But Audley was the only one birthed from an unbonded parents. Audley did not let this deter him as his father and step mother and step siblings did their best to raise him and protect him from prejudice.

Other than that, Audley made a name for himself as the village's only herbalist because of his strange ability that he cannot dispel. That ability is to randomly grow little herbs(also rare ones) wherever he steps on.

looking at this design i feel like i know which of the three i had in mind would better suit the occation! i just need to tweak a few things here and there u v u
