Macgyver lay curled up, fast asleep in a room lined with bronze. There were hundreds of beutiful flowers lining the open window, all moving with the open breeze. The room was a cozy warm, like sitting in front of a fireplace on a cold winters night. It felt good for Mac to finally get a nap.

Erwen looked at Ardens with a furious and shocked expression. "Excuse me?!" Before he could do anything Lennox's tail lashed out and pushed his son back. "Erwen, leave, Ardens and I have things to discuss."

(Yay! im glad! ^o^)

Seeing that the strange bird was now circling him, Yssarion breathes out his Mystic breath in the form of a chilling wind to try to deal with the pest.

Crowley was wandering the hallways aimlessly after his conversation with Lennox, his mind filled with plans.

{Giving a slight smile, Ardens turns his attention back to the king}"Thank you, your Highness. Now, where was I? Oh, yes, Crowley. Perhaps that little detail slipped mind? Well, surely he told you about his little scuffle with one of your advisors, did he not?"

Mac's tail lay across his muzzle. His wound on his arm was no longer bleeding, but the bandage was stained with red spots

Lennox nodded."He did indeed, either way this is something that must be dealt with." The King hardly noticed as he son stormed out of the cavern and into the capital.

Teresa: was glowing with delight when she saw Nitika " It's you! I thought you left with the other dragon?" as she was tried to catch her breath from runng. she begin to untangle the brush wrapped aroud her feet

When the raven became distracted with the mysterious ice dragon, Maelstrom saw his chance to escape. Tucking his wings in, the mechanical dragon dove through the air, wind rushing over his metallic frame. As he fell, Maelstrom angled his wings so that he headed in the direction of the ravines between the nearby mountains. //Nobody will find me in that stony maze,// he deducted.

(heo!!! I FINALY made it to one of these.)

Macgyver woke up and arose to his feet. He walked over to his flowerbed, and began tomtend to them with caution.

"N-Noxaura told me I should head back to Chrysos... But I ended up getting lost, and..." Nitika shook her head. "I'm not worried about Chrysos anymore. I'm going to help you, like I said." Nitika smiled at Teresa.

Noxaura finally returned to her cave. As soon as she arrived she emptied her bag and tucked four books into a small hole in the cave wall, keeping them hidden.

Erwen didn't aknowledge DeathSong and continued flying until he landed in the market.

(Are you going to post one last time for the raven, Shadow? :p )

Crowley wandered towards the market as well, spotting Erwen and Deathsong flying overhead and smirking a little. 'I wonder if you could be any use in my plans, Prince Chicken?' he muttered to himself, shaking his head. Still smirking, he headed for a food stall and set about finding some breakfast.

Macgyver walked over to a bag in the side of the room. He grumbled, as its contents were gone. Macgyver gathered some coins and flew out of his window, in the direction Erwen went, towards the market.

Teresa finally free herself from the branches "Thank you!" she smile back at Nitika " I never had a chance to give you my name I'm Teresa! whats your name?" she bounced a little as she ask

Erwen landed in the market and threw a glare towards DeathSong. He walked away and went up to a stall and took some food. The vendor looked shocked but made no objections.

The raven now with it attention on the ice dragon circle him curiously

Mac noticed Crowley. Shrugging it off as another dragon, he kept walking, searching for a merchant with fertiliser.

( @Allure: Sorry about that. I got worried that you forgot since it was getting late XD )

Crowley noticed Mac glancing at him over the crowd, but just smiled and waited until the vendor handed him his breakfast before casually strolling after the other dragon. He paid no attention to Erwen and Deathsong.

"Nitika.
It's a pleasure to meet you!" Nitika grinned. "Now... W-would you know where we were headed?"

Noxaura sighed in relief after getting all the nerbs she collected sorted. Remembering she had eaten for a fewbdays she decided to fly into the marjet for food.

(we need one peaceful person there)

{Ardens smiles as he speaks}"Yes, something must be done. I think that Crowley is far too aggressive and that he should be pulled from guard rotation."

Annoyed that no vendors sold flower care, Mac grumbled and bit at his bandages

Yssarion growls at the raven's persistance, feeling frustrated as he sees Maelstrom escaping, and he lets out a minor shockwave of purple lightning, striking the bird out of the sky, before quickly trying to pursuit Maelstrom.

'Heeeyyy, Mac...' said Crowley softly once he was close enough for Mac to hear him. 'Having fun? I spoke to old Lennox this morning... has he spoken to you yet, by any chance?' He wanted to know whether Mac was being blamed for attacking him or not.

Teresa "mmm I kind of got lost trying to follow a big ice dragon, but I dont know which way he went...but Noxaura said to follow the water " she raised her hands in a l dont know jester

(Lilly: Yes, all the nerds. I'm going to go shun myself for all those errors now.)

Startled by Crowley, Mac jumped.

He blinked at the Crow dragon
"N-no not y-yet... Ardens i-is speaking to h-him."

Crowley cocked his head to one side and gave Mac an unsettling smirk. 'Well, I guess we just gotta wait and see what happens.' After a momentary pause, he added casually, 'Is your leg healing well?'

Maelstrom leveled out once he reached the nearest ravine, the shadows of the mountains engulfing him as he entered them. //Finally,// he sighed in relief. Now that he was away from the commotion, the air was eerily silent. The only sound audible was his steady wingbeats, which echoed throughout the rocky abyss.

Lennox frowned slightly. "Crowley was the one attacked, it is true that Macgyver is at fault for that, but it would be unfair for only one to be punished. They are both in the wrong for their actions"

As the bolts struck the raven it crumble to ashes. as the smoke drifted in the wind a barely a whisper could be heard in a ancient language "death waits for no one"

Macgyver, worried Crowley was on to him, fidgeted a little.

"Yes, v-very well!"

"Hmm..." Nitika thought for a moment, "Maybe we could see it from a higher point of view..."
Nitika used her gloves to climb up a large, nearby tree. She poked her head out from the leaves, and scoped out the surrounding area.

"Arrowstone!" Mac said happily at his friend's sudden apperance.

'I'm happy to hear that,' Crowley said, still grinning. 'Now, if you don't mind...' He ruffled his wings and turned away, intending to find a quiet spot to eat his breakfast. Then without warning he whipped around and shoved his face close to Mac's. 'And don't you dare try attacking me again, or I'll tear your guts out... consequences be dam.ned.'

Noxaura landed in the marketplace. She could spot Erwen's white feathers in one dieection and headed toward him. Already she could tell he was aggrevated.

Mac jumped back.
He wached Crowley leave, weakly murmuring "I-i didnt mean to....."

Teresa look up at her "wow your so fast" attempting to climb a tree herself. her claws in the bark but she begin to slip and fell on her... tail "ouch!" getting up and rubbing the spot she realized// oh dummy you have wings!// she flew up to a branch to pier out the top as well

//Hmm... how peculier... I'm sure it's unimportant, I must focus entirely on finding that dragon... curse the bird for distracting me!// Yssarion thinks angrily to himself, flying in the direction he saw Maelstrom go. //If he's starting a rebellion, he might think I'm trying to hinder him...// He speaks to Casta, unsure if the little dragon is even awake or not. "Hey, the dragon you met, was that him just now? Did he give you any kind of code or anything? He probably thinks I'm an enemy."

Mac broke the awkwardness by replying. "Nothing much. Certainly pis.sed they have no fertilizer...."

He noticed an angry Erwen, but turned back to Arrowstone.

'I couldn't say no to a good fight, Countess,' said Crowley truthfully. 'But I mean what I said... if that runt tries anything again, I'll destroy him.'

"S-someone I got in a- er- skirmish with the other night. I pounced on him but he drew blood. I got us in trouble..." He answered back

Noxaura approached the angered prince and tapped him lightly.
Erwen whipped around about to claw whoever had touched him but froze when he saw the familier face.

Somewhere in a dark place the crimson dragon gazing into her pond " well someone's a killjoy" she said getting up from her spot with a long stretch, and digging her talons into the stone floor as she pulled them to her a loud *screech* echoed though the room as sparks fly.

Nitika pointed one metal claw of her glove out towards what looked like a stretch of clearing in the forest. "Is that possibly where the river is?"

'So the Prince Of Ruffled Feathers is planning a war, is he?' Crowley mused over this information for a moment. 'I thought he might be. D'you think I should take his side? A war against Chrysos would be a cool opportunity for me to kill a few weakling dragons...'

Mac stared at the apple sludge.
"Woah! Thats facinating!"

He tapped it. "Its all deco- Ew..."

Erwen lowered his claws immediatly. "Nox! I'm so sorry for that!" She gave him a patient smile, brushing over the fact that she'd almost recieved a new scratch on her snout.

Scarlet was examining her sharpened talons as a raven flew to her from another room. it landed on a post its feathers dripping with a dark liquid. She smiled at it " I see you finished your nap dagger... you just miss all the fun your brother Cloak just had a smashing good time" she said with a twised smile

Mac looked back up at him.
"I saw it too! Let me get one and see if it does that!"

He gave a coun in exchange for an apple. Holding it up to his nose, he waited for it to turn to sludge too, but it stayed an apple.

Macgyver ripped his apple in half and handed one of the peices to Arrowstone. "I wouldnt eat the sludge..."

Teresa looking in the directions Nitika was pointing " Im not sure but we can go look"

(Um... are we still assuming Casta is asleep?)

Crowley watched her go, then suddenly erupted into harsh cawing laughter. 'Heheh, I didn't expect that.' //Maybe taking the prince's side is really the best thing to do, even if he's a spoilt short-tempered idiot.//

{Ardens picks his head up and wears a serious expression}"Well, that question does not have a simple answer.You see, as I'm sure you're aware, Macgyver has been afflicted by a curse since he was a hatchling. And, I'm sure you know that it causes him to spontaneously combust. However, I spoke with Mac last night and I discovered that there is another side effect that he has been too embarrassed to discuss. You see, last night, he was in the woods looking for a braclet that he lost during the day. These braclets help keep the curse at bay. If he goes too long without them, he begins to halucinate. Did he attack Crowley? Yes. Did he know it was Crowley? Not at all. All he could see in his drained state was, as he put it, a creepy little troll jumping about, shouting insults. That's what he thought he was attacking."

"Woah! Nothing is wrong with you! H-here, have another apple!" He held the peice up to him, but when it tapped Arrowstone's scales, it melted to sludge as well.

As Maelstrom drifted through the mountains, he gradually calmed down. He checked behind him to see if anybody was following, and to his relief, no dragon was visible. However, as he silently glided through the gloom, the overwhelming presence of dark, uncontainable magic suddenly engulfed Maelstrom's senses, and his eyes snapped alert. He recognized that sinister aura from when it had first arrived on the isle, and now it was following him. Pumping his wings, Maelstrom ascended to a rock outcropping and landed on it, his golden claws clicking on its cold surface. He then turned to face the direction that the undisguisable presence was coming from and waited. //Come to me,// he thought. //I am waiting.//

(Lilly: I suppose so...)

Noxaura held her smile. "You look upset Erwen." She poked his head gently with her claw. He huffed and looked away. "Nothing much, just another disagreement with my father."

Nitika nodded at Teresa, "Lets take a look." She slid down the tree, her claws leaving marks on the tree.

Lennox sighed. "If that is the case, he is technially innocent. But I would still prefer for Macgyver to be watched from now on." The king stretched his limbs and stood up. "Can I trust you to find someone for the job Ardens?"

(Allure: That's a weird mental image XD)

Crowley scanned the crowded market and eventually spotted Erwen and Noxaura deep in conversation in the shadows. Finishing the last mouthful of his food, he strolled towards them, hoping to eavesdrop.

Mac squeaked at the apple sludge. His side of the apple burst to flames, startled, he dropped it. The grass around them quickly ignited. Mac yelped, stomping on the flames.

Noxaura nodded in understanding. Erwen growled as he told her about what he had heard from Crowley, Ardens and his father. Noxaura stood and listened patiently, responding when needed.
Noxaura's ears perked up an the sound of crackling flames and panicked voices. She and Erwen quickly ended their conversation and ran towards the commotion.

Mac looked at the quickly dying grass. "H-hold on! I-il get help!"

He looked around the market frantically, before seeing Nox. He ran towards her.

{Ardens smiles and bows}"Of course, your Highness, you can count on me."

Mac was out of breath. He began to panic. "There w-was an apple... T-the grass, i-its dying... A-and poison! I-it may b-be poison!"

Scarlett dipping her tail into the water and pulled out a smooth black stone " Come Dagger your brother needs his sleep" she walked to another room its walls filled with jules and trophies she kept from her missions. in the center of the room there stood 2 thing one was a silver tree with black leaves and the other was a fountain. Dagger landed on one of the branches as Scarlet walk to the foutain. removing one of the leaves from the tree and the stone from her tail she dropped them into the black liquid of the fountain. as dark energy flowed from her she leaned over the water and said in a ancient language " death waits for no one... not even for you"

Sensing approaching drama, Crowley quickly took flight onto a rooftop and peered down to watch the scene below.

Seeing Maelstrom's golden figure rise up from the shadows and perch on a cliff, Yssarion grins. //Ahh, good, perhaps he's changed his mind about me. I musn't keep him waiting...// he thinks, speeding his flight. He soon reaches the golden metallic dragon, and lands close to him, the ground beneath him freezing unintentionally. Yssarion looks to Maelstrom with a grin as he greets him, "Why, hello there... aren't you an unusual one."

Mac ran to Arrowstone, but stopped. He stared in horror.

"A-arrowstone....?"

Noxaura placed her tail on Mac's shoulder before walking over to Arrowstone. She stood there cautiously, faintly recognizing dead and burnt grass. "Arrowstone? Can you hear us?" She spoke softly.

Mac was calmed by her presence, but stared up at Arrowstone.

Maelstrom felt a rush of cold air as the bluish dragon swept up to his perch and landed in front of him. A grin crawled up his snout, thrilled by the strange dragon's boldness. "As are you," he replied.

"Arrowstone, everything is fine, you just need to stay calm and not panic." She gave him a look of kindness and stepped towards him. "Let me help."

"Wait N-" Mac stepped forward, but stopped. He glanced nervously up at Erwen, then turned back to watch.

Crowley, still hidden on the roof, felt all his senses flare up at Arrowstone's words. //That guy's like Mac,// he thought. //He's got some kind of curse or dark power that he's kept a secret from everyone. Maybe I can report this to the king as well?// Grinning a little at the prospect of causing more disruption in the tribe, he stayed quiet and watched.

"I guess so." Nitika replied, "I've been through most of the forests on the Chrysos side of the border, but other than that..." Her voice trailed off. "I'm really looking forward to exploring more, though." She grinned. "What about you?"

Noxaura walked over to Arrowstone ignoring any sense of safety. "I'll help you, I promise."

Erwen watched with wide eyes. He was worried about how close Nox was getting to this potentially dangerous dragon.

Yssarion's grin widens. //Yes... this is someone I can work with. He has an air of power about him... I suspect this mighty golden dragon and I will get along well...// He then suddenly remembers that Casta is on his back, and he clears his throat suddenly, his illusion magic hiding his grin as he lowers himself to the ground, letting Casta off. "Ahh, my little friend here told me you were trying to convince him into joining a cause of some sort. Seeing as his wings have been stolen away from him, and I myself am curious about your 'cause,' I figured I'd bring him to you..."

(So, is Lenny done with Ardens){Flying out from her office window, Azureus circles the market. Concerned, she land close to Noxaura}"Noxaura, my dear, what has happened?"

A flame errupted on the tip of Macgyver's tail. He stared, frozen as a statue as he watched the two dragons.

"Would you like to come to my home? I have some medicines that could help you sleep." Noxaura hesitated before resting a clawed hand on Arrowstone's shoulder.
Nox turned to address Azureus. "There's no need to worry, everything is alright now."

Scarlett Raising her head up to dagger " I know one thing the snake and the lamb are from Chrysos,...but the peculiar fun oven and icicle... intrigue me" she said with a pleased tone

Macgyver suddenly fidgited with his anklets.
"W-well I should get going!"
He itched at his anklet a bit, letting out a his.
"See you all around!" He said in a rush, before clumsily taking off into the sky.

Maelstrom's eyes flickered to the small wingless dragon, disapproval on his face. //I recruited you not one day ago, and yet you tell everything you know about me before the sun has even risen... and to this one, of all dragons?// He returned his gaze to the ice dragon. "What interest might you possibly find in my intentions?" he questioned.

Crowley narrowed his yellow ees at Mac's abrupt departure and briefly considered pursuing him, but decided that whatever was happening to Arrowstone was more interesting.

//The Mountains would be a good place to practice my fire... No one would be up there anyways, right?// Mac thought to himself.

Teresa was wide-eyed " that souds cool! to go places and see things..." she fiddled with her pendant " I've never been outside my cave... I've only read books" she said with a sad expression

"Very well." Noxaura stepped away. "Please do get some rest though, and help yourself in anyway you can." She walked back to the small crowd of dragons. "Remember that I'm always here to help, no matter the issue."

"Now, now, don't be so hard on him... after all, he's done you a good service. I would like to know the requirements you pose on anyone who would like to join your cause. It sounds like a rebellion... and I am... curious as to whether or not we might be able to come to an alliance." Yssarion replies, trying to comfort the little dragon by drawing a wing around him protectively.

After a long flight, Mac landed near a small brush of trees overlooking the mountain's ravine. It was his favorite spot, there was plenty of beutiful flowers and the veiw was splendid. Dragons rarely came up here. But for slme reason Mac couldnt understand, the air was abnormally fridgid.

(Oh wait, Maelstrom was thinking that about Casta, oops XP)

(Lilly: Lol, it's alright! Are you going to rewrite that or shall I just work my around it? >u<)

{Azureus smiles upon hearing that everthing's ok.}"Well, if you're sure, I'll just take my leave then."{She then turns to Mac}"Mac? where are you going?"

( @Fade Umm, maybe just ignore what Yssarion first said about Casta? He could still bring his wing around him, since I'm sure it's obvious that poor little Casta is scared XP Just pretend he only mentioned about the rebellion and stuff :p )

Once Arrowstone and the others were gone, Crowley leapt off the roof and landed in front of Erwen. 'Why, hello Prince Chicken,' he said insolently. 'Fancy a chat?'

(lel, I'm late. I'm just going to assume that Ardens and Lennox finished up.){Ardens flies above the marketplace, looking for Noxaura. upon seeing her, he lands nearby}"Noxaura!"{He yells over the crowd.}

"I wouldn't call it a rebellion," Maelstrom replied. "And even if I did, why would you want to join?"

"You're outside of your cave now, aren't you?" Nitika gave Teresa a warm smile.

(Ahh, Turtle, unless I'm seeing things wrong, are you about to run into Maelstrom and Yssarion? I really don't to be rude, but the M&M meeting really needs to get done, and we cannot have any interruptions until it's over!)

Erwen was about to go over to Nox before he was stopped and glared at Crowley. "What do you want bird?" He growled.

Noxaura watched worriedly as Arrowstone left but turned her attention to Ardens after she heard her name being called and made her way towards him.

Macgyver focused on a tree.
//Steady... Steady...//
He raised a claw, then closed his eyes, pointing towards the tree. With a swish of his claw, flames burst and rocketed towards the tree, causing it to explode into,a million peices. The crash echoed loudly across the mountain and ravine. The flames- and parts of tree, sped into the sky like a huge flare.
Mac's head hurt, as he didn't intend for the flames to be THAT powerful.

(Griffin: That's exactly how Erwen greeted Crowley last time they spoke. XD)

Crowley grinned, his head tilted arrogantly. 'Nothing important, Prince... I just heard something interesting about you.' He glanced around and lowered his voice so nobody in the surrounding market could hear him. 'You're trying to start a war against Chrysos, aren't you?'

Scarlett she reached up and removed one of the red gemstones one of Daggers bracelets and said"your not as fast as Cloak, and the other would be far gone by now, so sending you off on a wild-goose chase would be pointless...fly to Aquilam and see what you can find" the raven squawked and flew out the room // I have some business to attend to in the Chrysos border// she walked out of the room and on to a balcony. black and red fire came from her back they started to take shape of wings. whe launched herself into the air spreading her wings to catch the current her scales begin to melt into the colors of her surroundings

{Ardens pushes his way through the crowd to get to Noxaura.}"Hey, I just spoke to the king. He wants me to find someone willing to keep an eye on Mac. I would like to speak to you about it in private. That is, if you're not otherwise occupied."

(Fade: No actually I just meant for him to practice his magic. I didnt realize they are in the mountains too :/ )

"Let's just say I have a little vendetta towards King Lennox of Aquilam..." Yssarion pauses a moment, trying to conjure up ideas in his dark mind. "May I ask your name, if you are willing to give me that information?"

( @Turtle/Fade Maybe Yssarion and Mac could meet up after the rebellion becomes solid? I had figured Maldius would try to find Mac after the conversation with Maelstrom)

(Turtle: Ahh ok, so sorry about that!! M&M's meeting has been post-poned so many times now that I have become fidgety whenever a possible interruption appears! xP)

Erwen growled. "Where have you heard such things?!" He wanted to pull this bird's feathers off but that wouldn't get him anywhere.

Noxaura nodded. "Of course, everything seems fine at the moment. So I'm free to talk."

Mac shook his head and grumbled. He sat down and looked at the veiw of the Ravine, watching his flames slowly dissapear before dozing off.

Teresa stop fidgeting with her pendant with excited expression " I... I am outside!" she began to bounce around giggling

Maelstrom huffed in amusement. //He is very straight-to-the-point, is he not?//
"Of course. You may address me as Xzar," he said with a dip of his head. "And yours...?"

(You guys can do whatever you want with Mac when you are done. Seeing as I can't do much of anything, plus I want M&M to get together too, Ill just make him sleep till then)

(Sorry for the short comments @Lilly, I'm trying to make my replies quicker lest I cause this confrontaion to last longer than it should xP)

Ardens:"Good. Shall we discuss these matters at my cave, or yours?"

'Nowhere you need to worry about,' Crowley replied smoothly. 'I just wanted to say that I'm just as interested in the idea as you are... and I'd be quite happy to help you achieve it.' He grinned, a wide grin that showed dozens of needle-like teeth.

(I'm gonna hit the road in a little while, once this conversation with Erwen is over.)

Noxaura internally panicked. "Oh my cave is very untidy at the moment, I believe your cave would be more appropriate." //I can't let anyone know about those books.// Nox thought to herself quickly.

Erwen snarled at Crowley. "Knowing you, your going to tell my father and get me and everyone else in big trouble!"

//Ha, I doubt that's his real name.// "Yssarion is my name." The large ice dragon slowly turns his head slightly to look down at Casta, before returning his gaze to Maelstrom, as if to say, "Is it because of him?"

Nitika giggled at Teresa's enthusiasm. "We can travel around Aquilam together if you want."
Soon, running water could be heard in the distance.

{Ardens gives a slight look of suspicion}"I wouldn't really mind the mess, but if you insist. Follow me. I hope you don't mind, but I live quite close to the border."{Ardens takes flight}

Crowley let out a short cackling laugh. 'Why would I do that, chicken boy? I don't care about the stupid king anymore. He trusts Mac, who tried to kill me last night! I just want to get my claws dirty and fight a few Chrysos dragons... as I'm sure you do.'

Noxaura nodded and followed him into the air. She quickly turned and looked back at the market place. "Everything's fine now." She spoke quietly to herself before flying after Ardens.

Teresa had a big smile on her face as she walked with a happy stride " I think I hear water" she stop and look at her feet "would it be okay... if I called you friend?"

Erwen glared at Crowley before letting a small grin appear. "Yes you're right. It's time for Chrysos blood to be shed and for my father to step down."

( @Griffin Well, since nothing else is really happening, let's skip to their arrival){Ardens lands in front of his home.[Keep in mind, this is not the super secret evil lair that is protected by a magic wall. This is a normal cave.]}"After you"{Ardens tells Noxaura with a bow.}

Macgyver lay curled up, his tail resting over his snout. He was in a deep, quiet sleep. A flame on his tail flickered steadily.

'So you wanna take the throne from Lennox too? I like your ambition,' said Crowley with a cruel smirk. 'So how about a deal? You let me join you, and I'll stop calling you Prince Chicken... sound good?' He offered a paw to shake.

Noxaura smiled shyly. "Thank you." She bowed her head to him in return before entering the cave.
Erwen frowned. "A little more respect would be apprciated from you, but whatever." He held out his own paw and shook Crowley's.

"O-of course!
I never had many friends back in Chrysos, but I remember they used to call me Tika." Nitika laughed, "I was so proud to have a nickname."

Crowley gripped Erwen's paw firmly before releasing it. 'Then it's done,' he said, looking directly into the prince's eyes. 'I won't tell anyone about this.'

(Minion XDD)

Ignoring the ice dragon's gesture, Maelstrom repeated his name. "Yssarion, is it?" //Never have I heard of that name,// he remarked to himself. //If I am not mistaken, this dragon flew in from the Frozen Waste: the island to which Aquilam banishes their members. The name of any dragon who is wicked enough to deserve to be exiled there is commonly infamous - why then have I never heard of this dragon?// Little bits of knowledge began to piece themselves together in Maelstrom's mind as they worked to make the picture clearer, but he pushed his thoughts away to continue conversing with the stranger. "A vendetta towards our rulers? I suppose we can relate after all. Tell me, what do you expect of me and my 'rebellion', as you call it? What makes you think that you can benefit from my cause?"

(So much for making things quick. XD)

Erwen met Crowley's gaze. "That would be most wise...if word got out we'd have some complications."

{Once inside, Ardens begins to speak}"Tell me, Noxaura, what do you know about Mac's "condition"?" Of course, from a medicinal standpoint."

(Ooh, Crowley and Prince Erwen are up to some trouble..! *w*)

'Heheh, that's true. Well, I have some stuff to do... I'll see you later... Prince Turkey.' He uttered the last word as he leapt into the air, laughing hysterically as he headed back to his cave.

(Fade: Aquilam rebellion is now underway.)

Noxaura was quiet for a moment. "I believe it has more to do with his magic, obviously, rather that an actual medical condition." She looked at Ardens. "Unless you've learned something?"

"I had thought that perhaps by joining your little rebellion, I'd be able to strike back at the tribe that stole what should've been mine to claim..." Yssarion pauses a moment, the continues, "I take it you came from Chrysos, judging by your metallic appearance. Something seems different about you, however... am I right, Xzar?"

The river now in view Teresa giggled to "Tika I think thats nice nickname!"

Erwen growled at this new 'nickname'. He turned and leapt into the air heading back to his home.

{Ardens turns and begins to pace back and forth}"Well, you might say that. Remember when you found me and Mac in the forest yesterday? Remember that spell you used to revive Mac? Tell me, from what division of magic did that spell originate?

{Ardens turns to Noxaura with a toothy grin}"Really? Because I just so happen to be a master in Restoration Magic, and I was never taught that spell by my mentor. I think it would benefit us both if from here, we be more honest with each other. Now, you're not in trouble or anything, but you and I both know that the spell was not from the division of Restoration Magic. So, I ask again, from what division was that spell?

A white figure drawn to the sound of the explosion he peered over the ledge of the cliff, and look down. he saw Mac lying below //was there an attack? // deciding to get a closer look he worked his way down the moutainside

Macgyver awoke glumly to the sound of quiet footsteps. He rubbed his eyes sleepily, peering around waiting for his eyes to adjust.

Noxaura's ears pressed agaisnt her head. "If you're asking I guess you already know." She looked at Ardens directly in the eye. "It's ancient magic, that's all. Nothing special."

"That goes for you too, Yssarion," Maelstrom replied with a grin. Moving on to another subject, he said, "I take it you are from Aquilam. Or rather, you 'were' from Aquilam." Maelstrom paused to bring his eyes to the sky, partially obscured by the looming mountains. "Exile is harsh, isn't it...?" He then returned his gaze to Yssarion. "That is why I have created this movement. To bring justice to the ones who wrongfully banished us from our very own homes." Maelstrom grinned once more, his glass eye twinkling. "I believe an allegience between us has been decided by Fate. With both of our unstoppable strengths, we can vanquish the ones who make our lives miserable. We can take back the lands that we once called home."

{Ardens picks his head up}"Ancient? Is that all? I think the word you're looking for is "extinct"." {Ardens leans in}"In order for me learn it, I had to travel far, far away. So, who taught you?"

He crouched on a rock just above Mac he was examining the area and noticed where fire had been. he look at dragon waking up " are you all right" looking down at him but still keeping a eye out

Mac looked up in the direction of the white dragon. "Y-yes I am..." He turned his head.
"Who are you?"

Noxaura curled her tail around herself, making a defensive stance. She sighed. "I wasn't taught by anyone, but I did learn." She looked at the floor. "You know now, I'm guessing you'll tell the king"

The great ice dragon grins. "Yes, I think an allegiance of the two of us would be ideal... With our combined powers, we will change the world..." Yssarion holds out his paw to Maelstrom. "Partners?"

He snorted and his breath froze " Isn't it courtesy to give one's name fisrt before asking for another" he said as he arced his eyebrow

{Ardens backs off a little and gives a look of surprise}"Of course not! Why, I brought you here to discuss the matter of keeping an eye Mac and his affliction! However, I just had to be sure that you were the right dragon for the job. You see, Mac is plagued not by his own inability to control his own magic, but by an 'Ancient' curse, as you would put it. While the cure is very complicated, you and your current knowlege of 'Ancient' magic can at least dial back the effects, that is, if you're willing to let me show you how. But first things first, no one can know that this conversation took place. Otherwise, we might both end up in the dungeon. Agreed?

Macgyver figited. "Fair point."

He bowed respectevly.
"I am Macgyver of Aqualam, so you are....?"

Noxaura's expression shifted to shock. "Mac has a curse on him?" She sighed and looked away. "No one will know, I promise. If we can help Mac I'm all ears."

jumping down he begin to examine the burn marks

"no name..." he said

//How ironic,// Maelstrom mused, //For that sinister, dangerous dragon I saw that fateful day - the only dragon in existence who, by their presence alone, brought me to anxious alertness - to become my ally. How fortunate am I to have such a worthy asset.// He grasped the ice dragons cold talons with his own and gave a firm shake. "Partners."

{Ardens smiles at this}"Good. I can show you how to temporarily reverse the effect of the curse, but I'll need you to agree to keep an eye on Mac, like Lennox wants. In the meantime, I will work on a way to remove the curse completley. I'm not entirely sure how yet, but I at least know that we'll need a master in Light magic. Until I can find one that we can trust with this little secret, I need you to keep Mac out of trouble and not exiled. Think you can manage that?"

(Kole: Lol XD I forgot Casta was watching all this... now that he has seen everything, any disloyalty will be rewarded with certain death XD)

Noxaura nodded. "Of course, I can manage that." She instinctively reached for the bag that wasn't on her shoulder, she relaxed when she remembered the books were safe in her cave.

Yssarion chuckles darkly as he grips Maelstrom's metallic paw. "Good, good..." //How amusing it is, first I just so happen to befriend the King's Advisor, and now I am allied with a powerful Chrysos exile. If only I hadn't been exiled to the Frozen Waste, I might've been able to hear at least a few eumors about this mysterious dragon...// He thinks to himself, debating whether he should reveal his true identity. "... Unless you'd prefer to beat around the bush longer, would you mind telling me your true name? Only intelligent beings start a rebellion... and intelligent dragons would obviously hide their names. Or, would you feel more at ease if I properly reintroduced myself first?"

Macgyver looked at the strange dragon.

"Odd... Tell me why you are up here. I never see anyone up this far."

{Ardens gives a pleased look}"I'm glad I could trust you with this. Now, before I tell Lennox that I found someone to watch Mac, let me tell you how to reverse the curse. It's quite simple really. First, get a hold of Mac. Upon doing so, you should be able to feel the presence of the curse. From there, you have to command it to stop. Whether you say it or think it, it shouldn't matter, as long as your will is strong. This should stop his hallucinations, spontanious combustion, and even put out anything he lit on fire for a short time. I suggest trying it on Mac a few times to get a feel for it."

Maelstrom released the ice dragon's talons. "Oh, that won't be necessary," he assured, a contented smirk spreading across his rectangular snout. "How long did you think it would take me to figure out your true identity... Maldius?"

Macgyver looked up at the sky. "It is beutiful up here, isn't it?"
He smiled slightly.

"Alright" Noxaura smiled, it seemed simple enough. "I'm curious about one thing though, how did Mac aquire this curse? If it's dark magic there could have been countless ways..." She paused for a second but chose to ignore her wording. //He seems trustworthy enough.// She thought to herself.

{Ardens gives a puzzled look}"Countless ways? Well, Mac said he's had it for as long as he can remember. How do you think he got it?"

(HE GOT HIS CURSE FROM THE GOD OF UNICORNS)

"Well I've r-learned that curses can pass down from family members, they can also be directly given to someone." Noxaura paused and looked to Ardens. "If you find out how he recieved this curse it might be easier remove it. Any ideas?"

Nanashi show a small amused smile
" that it is...its a good place to do some training"

Yssarion's eyes widen in surprise, but then a grin crosses his maw as he starts laughing, his voice growing deeper, darker, as his illusion magic disappears. A terrible, dark purple dragon stands before Casta, his sickening yellow eyes seemingly overflowing with murderous intent. "Well, well, well, it seems I have been undone!" Maldius declares, "I applaud you, Xzar, or so you call yourself. I take it my reputation precedes me?"

"Y-yeah it is..."
He kicked a burnt peice of timber.

Maelstrom returned Maldius' dark laugh with his own robotic chuckle. "As expected from the infamous Exile of the North," he said as he eyed the purple dragon's true form, before going on to explain himself. "My suspicions were first aroused by that conspicious aura of pure darkness and hatred that you radiate. The only being with that much unpure tenor could only be Aquilam's 'experiment-gone-wrong' from seven centuries ago. That infamous dragon was also coincidentally rumored to have a deep grudge on the King of Aquilam due to his banishment from Lecra. And with those hints, the pieces practically fit together on their own," Maelstrom finished.

(Im gonna draw another pic soon, but this is the basics. Mac's father tried to ki.ll him, but Mac excaped and flew toward the Aqualam border, where he was close to d.ying. He was taken to the king as an orphan. He was five years of age when this happened)

She nodded. "Yeah that might be a good idea." Noxaura paused. "You won't tell him, will you?"

Nanash should a small smile "if you want to continue no one stoping you kid"

Noxaura nodded. "The burns won't be a problem...but where is he? He left the market and went somewhere." She stated nervously.

"You are strange," Mac noted.
"Most hate me for what I can do. Ive been trying to control what I can do, but I can't..."

"Good. I'm glad you are as intelligent as I predicted. Sadly, I must confess that I know nothing about you," Maldius replies. "The Frozen Waste is truly the worst place to hear rumors and news, especially dealing with Chrysos. The inhabitants there are nearly worthless, none of them ever cared to share any news with me, and the ones that weren't futily trying to attack me knew nothing. All I can determine about you is that, clearly, you are a powerful exile, and I believe I can sense a faint magic from you."

{Ardens stops in his tracks}"He didn't go home?"{He turns back to Noxaura}"Check the forest and the mountains to the north. If you can't find him by nightfall, come get me."

Noxaura exited the cave. "He's not in the forest, I can tell. I'll head to the moutains and try to find him." She smiled at Ardens. "Thank you, for keeping this a secret, I'll try to help Mac to the best of my abilities."

Nashi "I guess it takes one to know one... let me see what you got" //the kid remind me of my younger myself// he look at his own paws

Macgyver blinked at the white dragon
"But... I can't go anywhere without dragons looking for me. I gues they are afraid I will burn the forest down or something."

Flames flickered on Mac's paw, tail, and tips of his wings. The flames snaked around on his body as if it was alive. They never hit the ground, as his anklets reppeled the flame.

{Ardens speaks calmly}"No problem"{Ardens takes flight towards Solaris.}

Noxaura followed Ardens into the air then split her direction and headed north towards the mountains. //I really hope he's alright.// she thought to herself.

Nashi "If you don't want to be seen, and are afraid of burning down something...I know a spot where you can train where that wont be a problem, but its cold and the choice is yours"

The fire dissapeared, and Mac shivered. "Thats all I can do as controlling my cur- er magic"

Noxaura flew quickly towards the mountains, the air's temperarure was already dropping as she grew nearer. She began looking in small valleys and caves for Mac.

{Upon arriving at the capital, Ardens heads for Lennox's throne room}

In the throne room the King and his son were having another heated arguement. This time it contained Macgyver and Arrowstone.

Macgyver stared at the charred tree. He sighed and sat down.

he didnt move even though the heat bother him, he want Mac to be comfortable, he notic the bracelets stop his fire //hes a firewalker... or something like that//

{As Ardens turns the corner, he hears the argument. At this, he stops in the doorway and waits for them to finish. As he does this, Azureus joins him with a very worried expression}

Noxaura began to feel random bits of heat in the air. She turned and changed her course and began heading in Mac and Nashi's direction.

Lennox glared at his son and barked a few orders. Erwen, once again furious walked away towards the enterance, dust and pebbles slowly floating away from their positions on the ground as he passed.

"I am flattered," Maelstrom purred, then cleared his throat. "Pardon my rudeness; my name is Maelstrom." The cyborg dragon dipped his head as he introduced himself. "I wish not to bore you with my own story, so I shall summarize: I was a Chrysos commander in one of the Sixth Century wars, but after a great 'incident' happened, the leaders of Chrysos banished me from their territories. As for the magic that you sense in me, it is nothing significant. These abilities allow me to breath life into any dragon-made creation - that is why my body functions so well." To demonstrate, he unraveled his robotic wing and gave it a few pumps.

Macgyver figited with his anklet, his tail twitching a bit. He remembered when he attacked Crowley. He wondered what the king would do to him.

{Azureus goes after Erwen while Ardens enters the room}Ardens:"Hello, your Majesty, umm, is this a bad time?" Azureus:"Erwen, care to tell me what happened back there?"

he walked over to him and sat close beside him " kid others may hate you, rate you, and try to break you, but how strong you stand is what makes you..."

"Maldius and Maelstrom, infamous exiles from the North and South... how curiously ironic. I've never heard of anything quite like your magic, though combined with my illusion sorcery and mastery over the elements, we truly will have Aquilam and Chrysos bowing to us..." Maldius grins at the thought, then continues, "Have you any plans for your rebellion, partner?"

(Shadow: Wow, that all ryhmed! XD

Macgyver stared at the ground. "You must have been through alot to be able to say that"

"No, it's fine Ardens. I do hope you're here to tell me you found someone to watch Macgyver."

Erwen growled and pushed past Azureus. "It's none of your business!"

Noxaura flew past a large mountain and saw two figures in the distance.

Ardens:"As a matter of fact, I did. Noxaura has agreed to keep an eye on him. I hope you find my choice satisfying"
Azureus:"Don't shut me out, Erwen! You need to talk this out. Calmly."

(Azurus is like that super passionate guidance counsulor)

"Ironic indeed..." Maelstrom then said in reply to Maldius' question, "Four-hundred years worth of planning I have. Although I'm sure you've had twice as much to brood over such subjects as revenge. As of late, I have been recruiting dragons who have any sort of prejudice towards either of the tribes," he gestured with his head in Casta's direction as he spoke, "that we might tear them apart from the inside out and wreak havoc amongst their ranks. As a back-up plan, I have stashed my own army of robotic beings in these mountains, all made of the same impenetrable mineral that make up my own hide."

Lennox nodded. "She is a calm dragon, and she handles situations well. Very good."

Erwen snarled "I don't need you! And I especially don't need your 'help'!"

(Heads up, I think I gotta go soon!)

Nanashi stared in the distance as his mind filled with memories of his past and the ones he killed.

Noxaura got closer and could finally confirm that it was the dragon she was looking for. She quickened her pace and called out to Macgyver.

Maldius listens intently to Maelstrom's scheme. "Mmm, then I think I have just the right pawn for this game... You'll never believe who I managed to befriend last night," he says, a wicked grin twisting his maw.

Macgyver looked up, supprised. He called to noxm but turned to narshi. "Ill see you again." He flew toward Nox.

Maelstrom raised the only brow that was capable of being moved. "And who might that be?" he pressed.

he look as Mac flew away "take care kid" he said under his breath he turned and stared up the moutain //Im sure we will meet again//

"Macgyver, the Royal Advisor to King Lennox himself," the dark dragon declares.

Erwen whipped around to face Azureus. "You do not know what she wants! You hardly knew her!" He shouted this at the top of his lungs. Loose materials were floating in the air as the gravity weakened around Erwen.
