Growing up her family was fairly decent living, lokalani received a nice education and loved everything to do with pokemon. Her mother was a breeder in the Alolah reigon when she met her father. However, as time grew her father thought going out on her own was too dangerous for Lokalani. So he prevented her from going on her adventure at 10, saying its best she marry off and live a normal life when she was older. Lokalani hated the idea, and vowed to go against her fathers words when she was ready. 11 years passed and her father found a rich man named Bruce to whom she'd marry. When her father made them sleep in the same room togeather, bruce would get very drunk and begin to abuse lokalani. Dispite her please, her father assumed she lied and brushes it off. Lokalani became fed up with that life, and went off on her own with her Rowlet, Coconut. In present she is traveling alone.

lokelani/lokalani spells her name both ways because teachers always spelled it wrong. so she just goes by both, legally its lokelani
