"Worry not, Fiacail/land calf," came Ngaio's comforting reply, resounding in the shapeshifter's mind. "Bring them forth/to the tide point/shoreline." Fiacail glanced behind him and beckoned the group to follow. "She informed us to meet at the shoreline. This way, now." He ambled to the edge of the waves in which the pearlescence of the moon was a distorted silver ellipse. Abruptly, his foster mother broke the surface, exhaling a plume of mist as she drew in another breath. Fiacail chuckled softly. "This... is my mother."

*when you also have like 2 hours because church stuff*

Malakai followed Fiacial, "She's very beautiful" his teeth chattered "Very nice to meet you Ma'am" he bowed politely "Thank you for helping us"

Sirius looked at the whale.
"You have a cool mom." Is all he thought of.

Toren watched as Fiacails family surfaced. He was still frustrated from eveyone, but watching the whales gracful form calmed him as he prepared to take to the skys above.

(REWRITING THAT I CANNOT LIVE WITH SUCH GROTESQUE GRAMMATICAL ERRORS)

Sirius had a big goofy smile.
"Wait we get to ride whales? That reminds me of a book I once read and I thought that riding a whale would be pretty cool! It's on my bucket list to ride a whale!"

Raven gazed at the pod which Fiacal had claimed was his family, apparent unintrest adorning the centaur's face. "What, so we're riding those?" he huffed. "Won't this work out just perfectly."

He swelled with pride upon hearing the lovely compliments his mother received. "She is, is she not?" Fiacail smiled softly. Suddenly, he learned that she had noticed as well, for she sent with an amused squeak,'Your friends/they are fond of me, I see. Communicate to them my thanks/appreciation and tell them to wade in the shallows. The iwi tohora/tribe will come to them.' Fiacail translated this to them.

(lets just stick with saturdays for now, and if we happen to find another random day we can do it then, but so far saturdays works best. we could always have short little side RPs incolving our characters on a different day, but it wouldnt be the main story, kinda like a spoof or something.)

(Pedro: Um, since when did whale-riding commonly appear on bucket lists? And why does Sirius have a bucket list in the first place? XD)

Toren continued to stare out at sea, he admired the whales for a short time longer and then gazed out to sea. It had been a long time since he had taken to the skys, his large dragon form was just too noticable closer to land. He figured he would take this opportunity to feel the wind under his wings once more, and sighed a little as felt relief. He waited by the shoreline for the others to be on their way before taking off. still a bit mad at some of them.

(Because Sirius is a nerd who read to many books, also, his reason for leaving Escade was to experience the world
and fill a bucket list)

(hmmmm-_- my wording is awful. toren is still at the shoreline.)

( @Kjumper Is there a specific shore of Vale that you would prefer them to end up on? Or where the ship the group is taken aboard is located?)

(If sirius was aware of branch falling shenanigans he would probably say "Hey Dorian they aren't tree branches so don't worry")

(Malakai is definnitely one, since he snapped at Toren in the last RP xD)

Malakai waded towards the whales, stopping when he was just a few steps from them. He gawked in awe, "They're so big!" he gasped

(Raksha: Oops, did you reply to Raven? I think I missed it... ToT)

( @Whale, well the ship was headed to Porthouse, but i think it would probably be good for us to stop ashore just south of the town, im sure the people there would be startled to see a group riding a pod of whales into town. lol)

Sirius was exited to see how Vale was, all his life he had only known Escade.

Malakai turned and noticed it was only him and Fiacial in the waters. "C-c-come o-o-on" he waved to everyone, as his teeth chattered.

Toren was itching to ake off as he looked up and watched adara circling above. His childlike curiosity and enthusiasm he thought he lost so long ago came rushing back as his large tail waged back and forth ever so slightly. it looked like fun to be up there. but he starved off his excitment to wait on land until everyone was aboard the whales. he didnt know where he was going anyways so he would need to follow them.

(Raksha: Ah, I'm sorry about that! I was too obsessed with correcting my grotesque grammatical error 'XD)

(Blood: Wow, really? It was in the 80's today, at least here!)

( @Fady If we both live in Texas, it could be the same storm system.)

(we never get weather that warm! It could be the middle of summer and we could be at like -20 with the windchill!)

(Hey, I think I'm gonna go for a bit! Spend some quality time with family B) Until I get back, Raven will just follow everybody around whilst mumbling incoherently under his breath XD)

Malakai heared Dorian's unease and could smell his fear, wading out of the waters he approached him. Malakai noticed his prostetics, "I won't let you drown if that's what you're afraid of" Malakai reached his hand out towards him "I swear on my life"

Torens ear flicked as he heard Dorian backing away from the water. he rolled his eyes. he had half the heart to push him in but figured he had caused enough trouble for everyone. He sighed a large dragon sigh and impatiently huffed at everyone as he wanted to leave already.

Fiacail observed Dorian's undisguised reluctance with slight amusement. "It's alright. You will be fine. Moalu is one of the most diligent whale I've ever come to know. He's not one to let you slip." As if on cue, the cetacean that was to bear the timid harpy nudged Dorian.

(whoops lol my grammar on the 3ds sucks, im trying to type so fast i miss keys all the time)

(I live in Virginia: it's warm and sunny one day and snowing the next XD True story)

Toren grumbled again. He decided to take control of the situation so he could get to the skys. He quickly pounced over behind Dorian, shaking the ground a little with his large form and gently grabed the back of dorians cloak with his teeth and picked him up off of the sand like a cat carries her kittens.

"You'd be suprised what I can manage" he grinned wolfishly, "Now come on, we'll be in Vale before you know it!"

(Strap-toothed whales aren't too large. Well, at least by whale standards. CX Only about 20 feet in length! Like other beaked whales, they also look kinda dolphin-like.)

Malakai lept back in suprise as Toren picked up Dorian, he laughed out loud. "I guess that works too!" he chuckled. Turning he waded back into the waters.

Malakai listened to Adara's chirping, "yeah yeah, we're going" as Malakai was getting into the waters he grabbed Sirius' hand and dragged him iin behind him.

Toren quickly grumbled to everyone else again as he excitedly lumbered over to the shore and spread out his wings in excitement like an overgrown puppy, still holding Dorian in his teeth. he squeeled a little dragon sqeel as he prepared to take off.

(Hes just a big kid under his cold exterior lol)

Toren crouched down ready to force himself into the sky with his hind legs and wings. And then Fwoosh! he powered himself off the beach as send went in every direction. higher and higher he flapped his wings as he sailed vertically upward! And then stalled a moment and let gravity take over as he fell towards the sea poor Dorian still in his teeth. Toren gave out another squeel of excitment as he joyously raced the wind toward the ocean.

Fiacail watched Toren take to the late night air, Dorian in tow, in bewilderment. /Well, I can say that rather came as...unexpected./ 'Moalu,I suppose you can transport/carry Malakai/a scarred up lad/land calf.' 'Very well, Fiacail/pod brother,' Moalu clicked in mild unenthusiasm.

(Moalu wanted to get to know Dorian. XD)

Malakai turned to the whales, feeling suddenly depressed, he got on the whale known as Moalu, pulling Sirius on behind him. He could hear only Toren's squeals, Raven's grumbling and the gentle lapping of waves.

( @BloodHybrid XD One of these sounds is not like the others.)

(poor poor Dorian he didnt sign up for this)

Toren pulled up from their freefal by opening up his large wings and then leveled himself out after hearing Adara chirp. His breathing a little rapid from all the excitement as he tried to calm himself. He then remembered Dorian was still in his grasp and let out a huff of air from his nose knowing it blow on Dorian's hair to make sure he was still alive, mumbling his little prayers. He roled his eyes again.

'Pod brother, you told me not/didn't inform me of a second passenger...' Moalu grunted as Sirius took hold of his small dorsal fin. 'I did not intend/mean for that situation to come about... I apologize, Moalu/pod brother." Fiacail sent resignedly.

Malakai heard Moalu grunt, "I can get off if it's too much" he tilted his head to the side, looking at Fiacial.

Toren followed suit behind Adara, happily gliding on the air currents with Dorian in his teeth. They were finally off. Raven, Malakai and Sirius all aboard the whales.

Fiacail nodded to the boy. "You can do so, if you wish. Moalu would appreciate it. I'll have someone else carry you, then." 'Uhina/podsister,' he contacted a female with a distinctive series of white splotches across her dark back. 'I need for you to offer transport/carry the land calf instead.' 'Certainly/of course!" came her energetic reply as she glided along the surface to halt in front of Malakai.

Malakai slid off Moalu, "sorry Moalu" he smiled apologetically. Dipping into the cold waters, he climbed aboard the other whale. Once he was aboard they took off, Malakai glanced up at Toren, Dorian and Adara. Envy coursed through him.

(i love how they call us land calfs, what would i be? Sky Calf? lolol)

Toren was a bit reluctant to do it, but he twisted his neck around and placed Dorian between his shoulders where he could grasp one of the plated spines to hold on too. he then let out a huff as if to say "this is a one time deal, ONE TIME." And then straightened his neck out again.

Toren joyfully watched the whales below and attempted to mimic there beautiful songs and clicks, without much success however, but he continued along anyways in a much better mood.

(not too much is happening now anyways, were just finaly on our way to Vale, :) Perhaps in next weeks we can just jump ahead to the shore of vale and make our way to portouse to find out more info on the artifact and why its so important we get it to the king, plus stock up on supplies, should be exciting!)

Malakai leaned back on the whale, gazing into the sky, he let his thoughts drift. He rubbed his face and realized he wasn't wearing his eyepatch, //So much for that// he scowled to himself

(Whaley: Yeah, I think Raven would protest over that XD)

(GASP...Malakai still has my satchle,... luckly toren hasnt noticed yet)

(Blood: I had been planning a time when Raven could call Malakai 'one-eye' as an insult XD)

Malakai realized he was still wearing Toren's satchel, his curiosity piqued, grabbing the satchel and placing it in his lap he leaned over it and peered inside....

Raven sat uncomfortably on the back of one of the sea mammals, back hunched, legs arched and pulled close to him in the most discontent posture. He briefly considered asking to ride the dragon instead, but quickly decided against it.

(oooooo yall better not let toren catch ya peepin in his satchel or he gona go all dragon on ya)

( @Fady <X'D I was just thinking about how discomforting it would be for Raven.)

Malakai saw the shiny object inside, reaching in, he pulled it out and twirled it in his hands. It sparkled beautifully, completely mesmarizing him. He stared at the Artifact, feeling it with his fingers.

(And had it not been Ngaio, I'm pretty sure the whale that he's on would flip out. <X'DD)

(Torens dragon senses ar a tingling)

(Riding a whale is the last thing to ever appear on Raven's bucket list XD Except for riding a dragon, of course.)

Toren flinched slightly as something bright bright reflicted in his eye. At first he assumed it was the oceans glare from moonlight, but it made him feel a bit possesive and the moonlight hadnt done that before...

Malakai stared longer at the Artifact //take it// a voice in the back of his head rang out. Glancing at Toren, Malakai was torn on what to do, he felt an intense desire to keep it, he clutched the Artifact tighter. //I want it, it's mine// he reached inside his jacket and put the Artifact in his jacket pocket. Closing the satchel he slung it ovdr his shoulder, pretending like he did nothing.

(Let's make this interesting!)

(DUN DUN DUN! <X'D Steel yourself, Malakai!)

(Aaand ima have to go now guys, so ill just say this before i head off)

Toren brushed off the odd feeling though and continued to glide folowing the whales, dorian still clutching the plates on his back.

(feel free to continue for a bit without me, toren will just be gliding overhead. And next time maybe we can jump ahead to when we reach vales shore!)

Malakai looked towards Fiacial, nonchalantly he said "We're ready Fiacial, are you?"

(Lolol *creeeeeping* ahhh I'm so excited for next week's now! There will be lots of awesome conflict with Malakar seeking the artifact from a possessive dragon, with the gang visiting porthouse to find out more about the artifact! And trying to blend it as much as possible with the rest of the citizens haha)

(I'm excited too!! I can't wait another week :x Ah all the possibilities!)

"Ah, yes. I believe so," he nodded approvingly. He stepped back a few paces, then broke into a short sprint heading into the sea, slowing up once refreshing seawater splashed onto his face. He stretched his arms before him and dove. The instant he came back up was when he had taken on his full cetacean form. "To Vale!" He rang out so clearly that even the others could comprehend. And thus, the unlikely group, united by their abnormalities, set off for their destined location. Under the protection of Fiacail's loyal, compassionate undersea family, this time they would succeed.
