Noxaura looked up from Mac and to Ardens. "We should bring Crowley and Mac back to the capital." She stood up and turned to the ice dragon. "I'm sorry for all the abrupt actions, but we all must be leaving."

Crowley observed the others talking, not really caring whether they dragged him to the king or not.

The night befor somewhere in the Aquilam border. A dark figure lands gracefully on the edge of a cliff, the moon high in the sky as a raven fly to her. "poor thing pass in his sleep... looks like someone getting promoted" she said as she rubb her ravens chin " the contract has been settled and payment in full" she said with a twisted smile, and with a snap of her claws the raven turn to ash. she pull out a black stone with a smile // let's see what your brother is up to dagger//
(okay there you go. it kind of like a prologue though :s)

Yssarion nods. "I understand... tonight's been full of abrupt actions." He looks at Macgyver and smiles, "Perhaps we'll meet again?"

Mac stared at them sadly. He fluttered his wings and looked at crowley with eyes that said 'Im sorry'

Macgyver turned to the ice dragon.
"That would be wonderful"

{Ardens nods in agreement.}"Yes, we must."{He then turns to Yssarion and Casta}"You two are not welcome here. I expect you both to be gone by morning. C'mon, everyone, let's go."{Ardens begins to leave}

Noxaura nudged Mac gently. "Let's go, I'm sure the king will be understanding of the situation." She gave one last courteous nod to Yssarion.

(Shadow: Scarlet sounds awesome!)

Nitika still sat in the middle of the forest on Aquilam's side of the border.
She had never considered leaving Chrysos until now.
"I-I'm just not sure where I would go..." She said, looking upwards at Maelstrom.

(Sorry for the wait Fluffy! Got distracted while trying to finish a drawing for something xP)

"Why, can you not live among the forests or in a cave, as all dragons are meant to?" Maelstrom inquired. "You do not need a house and a cushioned bed to sleep, after all. And think about it!" he breathed, pacing over to her side. "You can hunt and eat whenever you want - you will never have to pay for a meal again!"

Crowley threw a final contemptous glance in Yssarion's direction, sneered at Mac, then obediently took flight after Ardens. 'See ya, suckers!' he shouted.

Macgyver struggled to his feet.
"I-im ready"
He followed ardens.

Yssarion growls quietly at Arden's remark. "Well, I see how it is, no pity for the outcast, hmm? Perhaps I should be thankful for my exile, I wouldn't want to live in a city full of filthy rich scum who are so full of themselves, they forget that they're the same species as their outcasts!" He then turns and starts to walk away, giving Ardens one last baleful look.

Noxaura followed the three and caught up with Ardens. "I don't think you had to be so hostile towards those two...they weren't doing amy harm."

(Alright Turtle)

Nitika's face lit up at the thought.
Freedom was something she hadn't experienced very often, if at all. "T-that sounds wonderful!"
She exclaimed, even though she still sounded nervous.

Crowley, ignoring the others talking around him, glanced briefly over his shoulder towards the spot where Yssarion and Casta still stood. //I wonder what'll happen to the skinny white worm and the stupid ice dragon,// he mused to himself.

(This might be a stupid question, but how do you pronounce Yssarion?)

{Ardens, ignoring Yssarion, adresses Nox}"I know, but I had to make sure they would leave. The longer they stay, the higher the chance of a conflict happening."

Gemmini: sitting alone in the forest //Tereasa is going to wake up soon... she will probably wonder where the other went// getting up she began to scratched in the dirt. " well at least now she should know what to do. Gemini then lay down

"Oh yes, that's reasonable..." Noxaura lowered her head, her ears drooping in embarrassment. She turned to make sure Crowley and Mac were still following.

"Indeed," Maelstrom hummed. "And that reminds me..." he slunk over to Nitika's other side. "I have a wonderful plan to provide luxury and enjoyment to every lowly soul in this country, but I can't do it alone. Say, how would you like to join me in my crusade for victory?"

(I meant freedom, not victory! xP)

Crowley flapped his wings to keep pace with the larger dragons, keeping as far away from Mac as possible. He was still angry that the cursed dragon had gotten him into trouble, but his earlier rage was rapidly cooling into something like icy calm. //It doesn't really matter,// he thought. //The king won't do anything to me.//

{Ardens looks at Crowley}"We're dropping you off at your cave first. Don't go anywhere until we see Lennox, got it?"

Tereasa: just waking up started to look around // I must have dozed off again// rubbing her eyes // the last tning i remeber was Noxaure needed to go check something// she thought to herself, and then she noticed something scratched in the dirt. *sorry had to go business keep looking for your father* and there was some cooked fish by a cold fireplace

Nitika scooted away from Maelstrom a small bit. She stayed silent for a moment.
"...I'd be glad to join you." She said with a hint of hesitation.

Forgetting entirely about Casta, Yssarion walks through the forest. Ardens' comment hadn't actually bothered the disguised Maldius, no, his anger was only a facade. He is remarkably pleased, and also amused. //So Macgyver is an advisor to the old King Lennox... what a pleasant coincidence that I'd get to meet and befriend him the same night I left the Frozen Waste. He'll be a very useful tool for me...// He thinks to himself, ideas and dark plots forming in his mind, however he stops as he notices another set of tracks in the ground before him. //Hmm, I never knew so many dragons frequented the border. I wonder who these belong to,// he muses as he follows the tracks.

(Woops, sorry @Kole! XP )

{From the ground, Vitis watches the group fly off into the distance. In front of him, he sees Yssarion and Casta walking ahead.//Hmmm, maybe if I follow them, the'll lead me to a stash of food. Then, once they're asleep, I can steal what I want. They don't look so tough anyway.//}

But before he does any of that, Yssarion waits and lets Casta catch up to him. "Yes? What is it?"

'Yeah, sure,' replied Crowley carelessly. 'Don't worry Ardens, I'm not going anywhere.'

( @Griffin wanta fast forward to them arriving at the Capital or no? Not a lot's happening right now.)

Noxaura looked to Ardens. "But shouldn't we send him straight to the king?"She said this all quietly hoping she wouldn't get an angry outburst in return.

(Aggron: Yeah sure)

high up a raven fly lazy circles above Nitika and Maelstrom

{Ardens calmly adresses Nox}"I would, but I don't think Lennox would apreciate being dragged out of bed at this hour to deal with this numbskull."{He motions towards Crowley.}

Crowley bared his teeth in a silent snarl at Ardens, perfectly able to hear his comment even from several feet away.

Noxaura nodded in agreement. "That makes sense, but I'm sure ond of his advisers would be awake. We could inform one, so he knows..." She looked away, noticing the capital in the viewable distance.

Yssarion smiles faintly at Casta. "You don't have to thank me. I'm just glad I could help. Besides, we're both in the same boat, shouldn't exiles help each other?" He examines Casta's large scars on his back, and continues, "You're not a 'skinny white worm.' Skinny and white, yes... but in the end, it's Chrysos and Aquilam that are full of worms, aren't they?"

Noticing her hesitance, Maelstrom spoke in a gentle tone. "Oh, I'm not forcing you to join me," he assured her. "I merely suggested it - no pressure. But say, I think you'll be pretty pleased if you were to take part in this. You remember those fat, rich dragons who bullied you and threatened to exile you? Well, if you were to help me, we could remove them from their positions and force them to live the miserable life that you suffered, and you would take their place in the highest, most reputable seats in all of Chrysos. Doesn't that sound wonderful?"

{Ardens smiles malignantly at this}"But of course! I'm sure that Azureus would "love" to hear about how Crowley assulted one of her fellow advisors, and how he was trying to pick a fight with a couple of outcasts!"

"Well, I found these tracks, I thought I'd follow them and see if it might be someone else I could help. What about you?" Yssarion asks.

Tereasa: // well they left me some fish it looks like// "guess i should eat before heading off again" she sighed // I hope the other are ok //

(Maldius: Oooh, little Crow hasn't been a very good dragon, is he going to be put in time-out?)

Crowley hissed, restraining the urge to snap his teeth at Ardens' neck. 'I thought I already told you that the IDIOT Mac attacked me first. Why's everything always my fault?' he added in a childish whine.

"Right, bad idea...sorry." Nox looked towards the mountains. //I'm looking like a fool right now, I should just return home.// She thought embarrassedly.

"Hmm? A cause? Do you remember what he looked like or what direction he went in, at least?" Yssarion tilts his head slightly, curious about whom Casta met with.

Nitika disliked the thought of causing others pain, but the idea that she wouldn't have to serve anyone anymore made her happy.
As a matter of fact, the more she thought about it, the more she hated the fact that she'd been so easy to control.
A feeling she couldn't explain ignited in her chest.
Her expression shifted to a slight grimace.
"That DOES sound wonderful..."

(Lilly/Kole: He's an annoying little guy, isn't he?)

{Ardens turns to Crowley}"Because this always happens! You go off to the border, run your mouth, and then get into fights! Clearly, Mac just got sick of your constant arrogance and insults!"

The raven still circling above, but slowly descending towards Nitika and Maelstrom

Crowley snorted in disbelief. 'So Mac can get away with attacking me just because I insulted him? Besides, I don't run my mouth... THAT much...' He trailed off, curiously wondering if he really did behave as badly as Ardens said.

"Made of gold and fire...? I can't say I've ever heard of a dragon like that. You said he tried to get you to join some kind of 'cause?'" Yssarion sits down, as if to make his large size less intimidating to the wingless dragon.

Nitika glanced upwards and saw the raven slowly spiraling downwards towards them. "...A raven...?"

( @Radiant He's that little annoying brat that somehow everyone loves, I think XP )

Maelstrom let out a rumbling chuckle. "It does indeed." He then unraveled his wings in preperation to take off, but stopped to face the snake-like dragoness. "My name is Xzar, and I live in a mountain in the far western part of Aquilam. Should you ever wish to see me, feel free to visit," he stated. "But before I leave, do tell me your name. I should like to know the name of my faithful ally if we are to work alongside each other."

( So true @lilly! XD )

Noxaura was pulled out of her thoughts from the arguement. "Crowley doesn't act up all the time, I'm sure he's just in the wrong place at the wrong time...all the time." She spoke timidly.

Mac looked nervous. He fiddled with his anklets, avoiding crowley's eyes.

(Lilly: Haha, I love Crowley, despite his atrocious behaviour sometimes. X))

{Ardens hardens his gaze}"Mac barely scratched you. You drew blood. That's the difference."

('The wrong place at the wrong time... ALL the time.'' XD)

"Huh, like a rebellion or something?" Yssarion asks. //So someone's already trying to spark a rebellion... I ought to track him down and see if we might be able to co-operate.// He thinks to himself.

Macgyver finally spoke, sounding shaken.

"I-it was my fault..."

Crowley mumbled something unintelligible in response to Ardens' statement and avoided the older dragon's glare. //Let him think I'm sorry for what I did...// he thought. //Someday I'll get my revenge on that little lizard Mac.//

Yssarion studies Casta's expression and says, "I take it you don't like the idea of a rebellion?"

"I'm Nitika. Its nice to meet you." She smiled. "I'll be sure to visit you soon, thank you for your help."

{Ardens quickly turns to Mac}"We'll 'chat' later. We're here." {Ardens lands in front of Crowley's living quarters, whatever they may be.}

Noxaura hesitated before landing as well. "It's very close to dawn, the capital will be very active soon..." She said quietly to herself.

Feigning indifference, Crowley yawned and sauntered into his cave. 'Thanks, Ardens. You can go now. Come back in the morning and you can drag me off to see Lennox.' //Finally, some alone time... The perfect chance to decide how I'm gonna get back at Mac for the trouble he's caused me.//

"Hmm... I doubt he'd do anything to you. It's your choice, after all. If you hate Chrysos, though, I don't see why you'd refuse. You could get revenge on the ones who stole your wings from you..." Yssarion pauses a moment before continuing, "I think I might try to find this gold dragon you speak of. What will you do, my friend?"

( @Griffin up to you if you want rumors in capital of someone pass in there sleep the night befor)

{Ardens nods a Crowley, then turns to Nox.}"I'll take Mac home. You can leave if you wish."

Maelstrom gave a nod to the snake-dragon. "We shall meet again, Nitika. Remember, you will one day triumph over injustice." Once more he faced the sky, but paused when he caught sight of a circling raven. Maelstrom considered snacking in it, but decided against it as he took off with a mighty pump of his wings. The trees around the two dragons swayed under the current that he created as he rose above them, and within moments, he was steadily retreating to his mountain cave.

Crowley curled up in the most comfortable corner of his cave, yawning again. 'How can I get revenge on Mac?' he said to himself once everyone else was gone. 'I can't kill him, as much as I'd love to... he's too well protected by Ardens. Hmmm.' He trailed off into quiet muttering, not even bothering to go to sleep, even though he'd been awake all night.

Noxaura bowed her head. "Very well." She turned and leapt into the sky and flew into the capital. Instead of heading to her home she altered her direction ad flew to the royals' home.

(After Crowley's meeting with the king, I might have to head off.)

(Hey, Kole! I might not be present for the entire Artifact RP tonight, and in case I don't make it at all, would you share this news with KJumper?)

The raven broke from its circling pattern and followed Mealstrom from a great distance

The illusion magic hiding his grin, Yssarion lowers himself to the ground, allowing Casta to climb onto his back. "Of course. Climb on, and hold on tight to one of my spines, we'll find this gold dragon together. Oh, by the way, what's your name?"

(Because Turtlee isn't here, I'm going to say that Ardens took Mac home, had a conversation with him that Mac didn't enjoy, and went home.)

Nitika noticed the raven following Maelstrom. "That's odd..." She decided to follow it.

{Seeing Yssarion take flight, Vitis dives to the side and hides.//Damn, following them will be hard now!//}

(Radient: Alrighty, hopefully it won't take too long to get to that.)

Noxaura landed at the entrance of the large cavern and made a faint call so her presence was known. Her call was quickly replied to as a sour faced prince exited the cavern.

As Maelstrom glided over the treetops, he couldn't help but feel like he was being followed. As unnoticeably as possible, he sent a few glances behind him while gradually veering away from his destination. //I can't have any strangers knowing where I live,// he thought to himself. //They have already seen me, that's for sure. Perhaps I should ambush them and make sure that they will never see again...//

(Also, Yssarion isn't flying just yet @Aggron, he's letting Casta get on first :p )

Nitika continued following the raven as best as she could. It seemed unnatural that a bird would follow a dragon... Perhaps it was the metal?

Ready to lose his pursuer, Maelstrom made quick calculations in his mind. Then, without a warning, Maelstrom rapidly beat his wings, quickly ascending into the nighttime sky. If his pursuer wanted to continue following him, it would be forced to reveal itself. Otherwise, it would have to give up pursuit.

Macgyver flew away from the kingdom, hoping to find Yassiron again.

Erwen paused before finally recognizing the dragon that stood before him. A faint smile appeared as he approached Nox. "It's been along time since your last visit, but I'm guessing you're here on bussiness." Erwen mused. Nox lowered her head in a bow. "I'm afraid so Erwen, maybe next time we can catch up."

"Alright." Yssarion says, spreading his wings. He leaps into the air with a loud rush of wind, the force of his take-off bending trees and scaring several normal birds out of their nests. Rising above the trees, the two dragons can see for miles, the sun rising beyond a distant mountain peak painting the sky and the land below beautiful shades of color. The air is brisk and chilly, but the ice dragon seems unphased. Seeing another figure flying in the distance, Yssarion questions within himself if it might be the dragon made of 'gold and fire', and follows it.

(I'm back, just hanging around and watching.)

Somewhere in a dark place gracefully laying beside a pool of water. The Crimson black dragon leans closer to the water " hmm someone wants to play" the pool reflecting her smile.

the raven shoots up its in purses the black feathers against the dark sky.

Nitika hissed in frustration as the raven flew out of her view.
She watched up into the sky, then saw another dragon other than Maelstrom further away.

Crowley glanced up, slightly surprised to realise that it was morning already. He'd been so lost in contemplating bloo.dy revenge that he hadn't noticed the sun rising. 'Guess I'd better go and talk to old Lennox, then...' he mumbled to himself, leaving his cave and heading off to the king's chambers.

(Someone mentioned a while ago that dawn wasn't far off, so I'm guessing it's early morning now.)

(Lilly: 'Course not. Who needs to? XD

Erwen nodded. "Yeah that would be great." He paused as if listening to something. "My father's heading this way, you should go, he's not in a good mood." Noxaura had a worried look but agreed and left leaving Erwen waiting at the entrance.

(Fade: Well with that pun I have to leave you in the dark XD )

Crowley strode up the corridor, passing Nox and almost bumping into Erwen along the way. 'Hey!' he called to the prince. 'I'm looking for the king, where is he?'

Erwen's relaxed, smiling face hardened into a frown. "What did you do this time bird?" His feathers were flared out, showing the prince's obvious irritation.

Tereasa: look up in surprised as a big ice dragon flew over her "Graet floating icebergs!" as the dragon past as quickly as it came // that guys was huge!...and was that a llama on is back?//

Once he reached a considerable height, Maelstrom stopped and hovered over the expanse of land. Concentrating, he squinted below him, trying to spot his pursuer, but it was still too dark to see. Instead, the mechanisms that served as his ears whirred and rotated as they expanded their hearing range. Sounds from all around were suddenly clearly audible to Maelstrom, and he quickly picked up the approaching fluttering of small, feathered wings. "A bird?" he hissed to himself.

(Shadow: Apparently Casta is now a llama AND a skinny white worm. XD)

Crowley cocked his head to one side and grinned, not at all intimidated by the prince's annoyance. 'You're calling ME a bird? You look like a half-plucked chicken yourself. And it's none of your business what I did, just let me talk to the King.'

Seeing Maelstrom rise high into the sky, Yssarion slows slightly. //Perhaps he sees me? It feels like some sort of trap...// Sighing, he follows after Maelstrom, figuring it'd be better for him to just follow the target.

(A llama!! I can't stop laughing! XD Now that you mention it, Shadow, he DOES look like a llama... a very scarred-up one, that is. XD)

Erwen gasped in anger but before he could retort a long, feathered tail smacked his head. "Erwen! Behave yourself, return to your chamber." The king stood over his son then turned his attention to Crowley. "Why are you here?"

Nitika watched Yssarion fly towards Maelstrom. //Who is that?// She began following him from beneath the trees.

Crowley immediately ignored Erwen and turned his full attention to the king, lowering his head and folding his wings in a gesture of respect. 'Your Majesty, Ardens told me to speak to you. There was an... incident last night. Long story short, we ran into some outcasts, and while we were talking, Mac tried to attack me.'
He grinned to himself; this was a perfect opportunity to get the king onto his side.

With a huff of annoyance, Maelstrom sucked in a large breath before exhaling a stream of blazing fire. As he did so, he twisted and rotated in the air, sending a net of flames in every direction. //Get past that, you persistent bird!//

The raven was flying taunt full circles around Maelstrom using its small size and speed to its advantage to stay out of sight, before it noticed the other dragons approaching

King Lennox gave Crowley an unamused look. "Macgyver attacked you?" Erwen had only walked a few paces away but had returned to listen to the conversation. "What have I told you father, that burning lizard shouldn't be an adviser! He's dangerous!"

(Hey, um, should we just assume Casta fell asleep on Yssarion's back or something?)

Yssarion, seeing Maelstrom's firey outburst, hesitates. //What would he be doing that for? Is he threatening me? Or... is he being pursuited by something else?// He waits a little longer, then starts flying towards Maelstrom again, hoping his bright bluish-white coloration would give him away for once.

Crowley snapped onto what Erwen had said faster than anyone could blink. 'So you think he's dangerous?' he smirked. 'Maybe we have the same opinion of him, Prince Chicken.' Turning back to Lennox, he added, 'Mac attacked me out of nowhere! I had to bite his leg to defend myself, and now Ardens is blaming me for everything!'

(Lilly, that would be adorable. I support that decision)

Lennox growled in irritation, shutting Erwen up for the moment. "Macgyver is not the type of dragon to openly attack another for no reason...who else was there?" The King was very skeptical of the claims Crowley was making.

Tereas: pack up her fish and headed in the direction of the ice dragon out of curiosity, but something inside warned her to be careful

(Daww, the little skinny llama worm falls asleep on the back of a flying iceburg... what could be cuter? XD)

(Wow, Crowley, no respect for His Majesty's heir whatsoever! Attitude like that would get you sentenced in the Medieval arc XD)

Crowley thought back to the scene in the forest. 'There were a couple of outcast dragons there. One was a big ice dragon, the other a scrawny white one with no wings. I was warning them to stay out of Aquilam territory when Mac charged at me.' He briefly debated telling the king that he thought Mac had been possessed somehow, but decided to keep it to himself. After all, he wanted Lennox to think that this was Mac's fault.

(Fade....you gave me an idea of a picture to draw XD )

(Fade: Crowley has no sense of respect. XD He's only being respectful to Lennox because he wants the king to believe his story.)

"You said Ardens Cornu accused you of starting the fight, that means he was there as well." King Lennox narrowed his eyes. "Who else witnessed this?"

Crowley's eyes widened, acting as if he'd only just remembered the other dragons. 'Well, Noxaura was there with Ardens... she saw everything! If you ask her, I bet she'll confirm that Mac attacked me.'

(Lilly: Well, first I'd like to lose the raven and everybody else, since according to his personality, Maelstrom won't make a transaction unless he is sure they are alone. However, every single meeting he has held has been witnessed by multiple dragons, unfortunately. I hadn.t intended that. 'XD)

(Fade: Rule number one - Crowley will always fight dirty to get what he wants. X))

Lennox thought for a moment before showing a very faint grin. "Then I shall pay her a visit later. I'm sure she'll restate what she witnessed." Erwen, tired of staying quiet, interrupted again. "You have to be joking, s-she'll defend Mac, they're friends!"

'I think Nox is more reasonable than Ardens, so maybe she'll acknowledge that Mac is the one at fault,' said Crowley, barely looking at Erwen. 'If she doesn't... then I'll just have to find another way to prove I'm right.' He looked up at the king. 'Your Majesty, may I go now?'

In A dark place " well he sure is a feisty one, but who do we have here?" she said while she was playing with a black dagger in her talons.

The raven turned its curiosity towards the new arrivals

Lennox nodded his head. "You are dismissed Crowley. The king turned his attention to the new arrival. "Ardens, yes Crowley just finished presenting his side."

As Yssarion gets closer, he sees the raven. //Is that what the dragon was trying to incinerate?//

Nitika watched Yssarion and Maelstrom from the brush.

{Ardens' expression shifts into a slight smile}"So, I assume he told you about the two outcasts and about how instead of performing his duties and driving them off, he began to insult them so loudly, in fact, that he awoke me from my slumber?"

'Yes, your Majesty,' drawled Crowley, brushing past Ardens' taller form with a smirk and making his way back to his own cave. //Phase one of 'Make Everyone Hate Mac' is underway,// he thought evilly.

Teresa: stumbling through the woods losing sight of the ice dragon " Smelly banana cracker!" she side //I knew I should of just follow the water...now im lost again!//

(Well, now that Crowley's out of the picture, I'm going to go too. See you next week, guys! I'll be looking forward to it.)

The raven began to circle the ice dragon

Nitika suddenly froze when she heard shuffling from the foliage near her. She peered through the thick plant-life and saw the dragon she'd been helping before. "Oh! H-hello."

(Maniacal laugh the M&M are one step closer! >:) )

(Yeah I have to go too, so we may as well stop this here for today.)

(So close to getting the M&Ms together, but so far)
