The way I did it was simple, I colored it in with normal non-transparent, then I use non-transparent spray paint affect, after I do medium transparent I erase it by constantly tapping, till its barely visible. Finally I copy the layer and merge it down on itself as much times as you think looks the coolest! ^-^
