Gilan: Semi-Human Form by NicoAkira
All right, so this is his "natural" form--going either full human or full crow requires some effort, so he often resorts to this in tense or wearing situations (i.e. when fighting). He can also fight in his human and crow forms, although the latter he usually uses only for escape, scouting, or traveling (when alone). In human and semi-human forms, he fights with simple twin swords.

Gilan originally lived in the Iocrian Mountains, near Pruidian. Growing up, he heard the many tales and rumors passed between the monsters of a certain kingdom called Tiqarene, where even the king was one of their kind. At 17, finally having had enough of hiding and scavenging, he made his way eastward to that very kingdom. Due to the circuitous nature of his route--he opted to move by way of the mountain range, rather than through other settlements or open land--he has only just arrived.
