Short Description: Niji is tired of watching other Kell die by the hand of the Shadow Beasts. That's why he said, "Never... again."
Niji ran forward, ignoring the spliting pain in his side. "NYRA!" Jell shouted. Her grip had loosened when she had spotted him running toward them, and Nyra had slipped from her grasp. Nyra yelped as she slipped from Jell's grasp. Niji ramed into one of the Shadow Beasts, he couldn't tell which one, but that didn't matter to him.

Ki had almost fallen over from Niji's hit, but managed to stedy himself. "I thought I kiIIed you!?" It shreaked at him. He payed no heed. He leaped forward just as Jell realized what he was doing. Jell moved out of the way just as Niji hit the rock and just barely caught Nyra by the scruff of her neck. "N-Niji!" Nyra choked. She was shocked to have Niji catch her mid fall.
Suddenly, a splintering crack could be heard, and everyone froze. Niji, Nyra and Jell looked horrified while the two Shadow Beasts looked thrilled.
Nyra could feel the grip on her scruff tighten. "Niji?" She asked shakely. "We're even now Nyra." He said through his teeth. The look on Nyra's face went from scared to terrified. "No. Niji! Don't!" But it was to late. Niji, meanwhile, tugged with all his might as she was telling him to stop, and managed to get her head up over the rim of the cliff. He. Swung her back and forth once, untill a second crack could be heard. "Sorry." He said.

He swung her up and around his head as he yanked himself up on his feet. Nyra hit the ground next to Jell. "NIJI!" That's when the rock finally gave way. Nyra tryed to jump toward him, but Jell grabbed her. "You can't! You'll fall too!"
"Niji!" Nyra screamed out.
Niji's faced went from shocked, to acceptence. If he was gonna die, at least he saved the others, if not for a little bit longer. He was falling. Very quickly to, but he had yet to see the ground, and was surprizingly calm for his situation. He suddenly felt a huge pressure in his head. "Ow." He hissed loudly.

As he continued to fall, the pressure kept building and building, to the point of him wanting to scream. Then, nothing. The pressure went away, and so did the pressure in his back. Wait... back? He turned his acheing head, and realized something huge in shock. He looked down, and saw the ground. He desided something right then and there...
"I'm not having that." He said angrily. "Not yet. I've still got a pare of Kell's who need me."
