For all the good he'd done before she commanded he be branded and banished. If he was meant to die the mountain would claim him.
Thusly a painful ink was made from from the blood of his brother and pierced into his skin forming his 'sin' tatoo that covers his body. The mixture hardens under the skin and never fully heals, thusly his skin bleeds if he moves too much from the tatoos even today because of the rough pellets it forms under his flesh.

He was branded and dragged naked within the mountains to die, but met a different fate.
Bandits ound him in the trade passes and took him in mostly as slave labor, until they saw his skill with the bow.
Soon Kaenik was a scout again, but a very different kind.
In those rocky peaks a part of Kaenik died and a new part was born to eat up what was left of him.
He stopped being the young prodiegy Kaenik, and was turning to some cold and souless known as 'The Crow'...
Years he lived with the bandits bloodying his hands for gain and survival

Until the rockslide came during one particularly daring heist. The slide blew most everybody, bandit and merchant alike, down the cliff face to their doom. But Kaenik's superior senses and caution got him out of the way in time to fall to a safer local.
He spent a few days gathering what supplies he could salvage and tending his wounds before setting out.
He couldn't stay in the mountains alone, and he couldn't go home. So he went forward.

He eventually made his way to Creodesea where he found some work among the elves, Mostly in hunting monsters which he was very good at. But after a while he was identified as bandit.

He fleed to Ulsedora which was far more forgiving of criminal pasts.
To this day he works as a skilled hunter for the right people, but works exclusively alone.
He rarely speaks and is serious and methodical in all he does.
He's loyal to those he respects and unwavering in finishing a task he's set to.
He's not afraid to bloody his hands but doesn't seek violence out, but violence often seeks him out...
