Nyra and Jell kept running along the side of the forest. Searching as best they could for Niji before Til caught up to them. "Where is he!?" Nyra shouted. "I don't know! He's Niji, for all we know he got away!"
"JELL STOP!" Nyra grabed Jell's paw and yanked back will all her might.

They skidded to a stop right in front of a large drop off. "Nyra, what do we do?" Jell asked exhausted. "Yes 'Nyra'. What will you do?" Came a voice from behind them. They both turned and saw two shadow beasts. "Wait..." Jell said "Where... where's Niji?" Jell looked like she was about to panic. Where was he?
"Oh. Him. Yeah. He won't be interfereing any longer." Ki laughed joyfully. This made both of them freeze. Not being able to prosses the information. "But... Niji..." Nyra said, taking a step back. "The shadow beasts hissed in laughter and got closer to the two. "No..." Jell said, as she too took a step back. "You couldn't have gotten to him!"
"You're lieing!" Nyra yelled after taking another step back. The beasts just kept getting closer, forcing the two back to the very edje of the cliff. Jell looked back to Nyra, as if to conferm what she heard. That question was answered as she saw tears forming in Nyra's eyes, but also seeing her take another step back...

"Nyra. Get away from the edje." Jell tryed to stay as calm as she could. Nyra glanced at Jell, then down to her feet, she was about to step forward when she heard a crack. The shadow beasts stopped their movement, Nyra looked straight ahead, and Jell's eyes opened wide in horror. "Nyra!" Jell shouted. The rock beneath Nyra's feet had colapsed, and she was going to fall. Jell leaped toward the cliff and grasped onto her arm with all the strangth she could muster without pulling herself off as well.
"Nyra! Hang on!" Jell shouted. "I'm trying!" She shouted back. Trying despretly to gain a foot-hold against the slippery rock.
The shadow beasts just sat there. Enjoying it. They feasted on fear, so why not get a free sample before the main corse? "Niji!" Jell shouted. "Come on Niji! I know you're not gone!" Nyra looked up at Jell, and Jell looked her right in the eyes. "Jell... I don't know if I can hang on."
"If you have enough energy to speak, you have enough energy to hang on!"
