When Static was born, he wasnt an animal. He was in the form of a red, glowing orb. He lived in a constellation between the gemini and the cancer zodiac constellations, with a colony of other orbs. They were a very intelligent and complex species, and could morph into anything their heart truly desires. Static was originally called Omni, which means in all places all of the time.

As Static grew up in his constellation, he was given the role if leader of his kind after their god died. He was to keep the constellation from being pulled into the darkness watching them. But the dark shadowy presence made its way into their home and with it came a catastrophe. All of the orbs were wiped out in a slow painful process.

Static was the strongest and with his willpower, he managed to manipulate the shadow's thoughts and escape. He was sent spiralling through deep space with a sonic boom.

In his unconsiousness, his heart became ready - to alter his body forever. He knew of a planet, Mobius, and he had always admired its beauty and colour from his view in the stars. He subconsiously grasped onto that memory and his body transformed in a flash of blinding red light.

He awoke 12 years later with a completely new look. He was still floating through space aimlessly, but Mobius was only a week's journey away. (More in comments!) #backstory
