Well, i just found out that my dad actually doesn't like what I draw. T-T And I'm really mad right now. But then he goes on by saying that my best friends are both bad influences on me and that i need new friends. I just wanna scream so loud and punch a wall. These guys been my friends since the 8th grade and now all of a sudden their bad influence? Aaaahhh My dad makes no sense!!!! So yeah just needed to get this off my chest. Thanks to those who read this far and sorry wasting your time. #vent

Parents don't understand much of the appeal of anime. It's hard to explain though. But don't feel discouraged. You are just starting out. Then with time you will be a pro at it. Maybe in a few years you would find yourself making something completely different! There are many possibilities.

I'm sorry to hear that your dad thinks that. :( Then again, my dad thinks my art is stupid because he doesn't understand why I like anime and Pokemon. (At least he understands that I like what I like and it doesn't matter...) Just don't take it personally. :)
