The fandom ruined it for me.

Just like it ruined FNAF, MLP, Undertale, Gravity Falls, Steven Universe

If you can manage to look past the not-so-good stuff that a fandom produces, you can often find some pretty cool fanmade stuff. Like animations, songs, plushies, (*cough* MLP fandom (cough*) and so on so forth...

I agree that there's some really crappy stuff though. PapXSans is horrible..

Oh my god THANK YOU. I really do not like the Undertale 'fandom'. Sure the games got a good rep but the fandom is a disease.

The fandom's bad side has really come out. It seriously annoys me seeing how people can be attracted to sans and make him a crying edgelord that has "nightmares" for every reset when none of that even applies to him. Shipping others together is fine but it's usually better off kept to one's self. Also bad time lol xd huehue

the fandom and memes are good but it's the ships that are so annoying like when will the kraken and lochness monster attack geez

This fandom is gross.

Yeah, I try to just enjoy the game for what it is, as that is why I like it in the first place. XC But, since the fandom's so large, it's inevitable you'll come across it if you're looking for cool Undertale fanart/animations. And yeah, I know. XC Shipping, as with all large fandoms, especially "crackshipping", can consist of romantic pairings that wouldn't be considered legal (I'm not necessarily talking about same-*** pairings. Just shippings that are morally disgusting, like in.cest and pedophilia). The 'dark' side of this fandom really has come out more, recently. :(

:O What? Apparently Colors! censorship is back (kind of), which is somewhat good, as it censored reasonable words just now, but I just hope it isn't as crazy as it used to be. XD

Of course I know there are also a bunch of wonderful, talented people who artistically express their love of this game, whether through fanart, animating, music, or other such means, and that's great! It's just those certain few that have come into the spotlight.

There's a lot of bad things from any fandom, really! I stay away from these, but I can tell the Undertale (never played it) one is bad.

And I don't like the excuse "It's just a game", because it's not to a lot of people.

Re: You're very welcome! ^-^ There are those who hate the concept of fandom in general, and I partially don't blame them, though those people tend to forget that there's always a brighter side full of people with more common sense who also put a lot of effort into creating something that fellow fans and others alike will enjoy.
