I love learning how and why organs and body systems work in different creatures because of my curiosity of the natural world, though I wouldn't be able to become a vet and perform surgery on a living animal. XD I had an ultrasound yesterday, and in the strangest way, I thought my organs looked cool. I just can't affordto see them spill out of a living human being. XP)

As Malakai stood at the edge of the camp, glancing around at everyone in camp. "We have to get off this island now! Or find someway to stop Toren" he wheezed, fear edging his tone "Toern's a Dragon!" Malakai could feel every inch of his body trembling...

(If I knew how to I would make Don't starve mods of the characters

Sirius spoke up.
"All of you assumed he was a faun but faun's don't have horns like his, or ears, but yes we need to not do one or the other, we need to do both. Stop Toren, and get off.
"Whatever you want to try be my guest, as long as no one dies."

Raven did not even hear Malakai's desperate warnings - his entire world was focused on the memories flashing through his head. That fateful day five years ago suddenly came back to him in full detail, and uncontrollable emotions rose up in his heart. Raven grit his teeth as he stared at the plumes of smoke rising from within the island. //Dragons... I hate dragons... they took away the only thing that I had ever loved.//

Toren released another growling roar, but this time, a hit of sadness reaching out as his consious fought in vain to gain contol. His heart was filled with rage, and he wheeled around to let loose another jet of flame.

( @Kole# and Raksha Ooh, those professions sound cool! CX I've done some animating in the past. I think art will be a big hobby, and since marine biologists don't always make that much money, I could sell some of my work. I also am writing a book series and have been playing violin for almost 5 years and do a bit of voice acting for fun... so there are those things as well. <XD Gosh, do I sound a bit overaccomplished or what? Anywho, I'll get to RPing in a second...)

Malakai nodded in approval at Sirius, swallowing his heart back into his chest his voice shook a little less as he spoke "We are survivors, we need to make it to Vale...All of us" Malakai nodded towards where Toren was.

(haha @Pedro i noticed that a while back and was just like, oh well, too late now lol)

Sirius was trying to remember anything he could when it comes to dragons, he read a variety of books about them, mentioning how some are shapeshifters and change form due to strong emotions like anger.
/Maybe if we go full on cliche and try to stop him by reminding him who he is./

(As Sirius thought to himself, we must go full on cliche and help Toren, lmao)

Malakai heard Toren's roar, something about it sounded sad. Malakai stood there //he doesn't want to be like this, an out of control monster// Malakai felt a rush of sympathy for Toren. //And it's my fault! I watched him lose control in the fight and did nothing but watch!// Kai balled his hands into fists...

Fiacail's head throbbed both in alarm and confusion due to Malakai's warning and Adara's stroking his rostrum. He heard another deafening roar that further confirmed the wolf shape-shifter's concerns. "We must get everyone off safely at once!" he told the phoenix girl. "And I may know one such means of accomplishing such a task!" He spoke urgently, this time to all those present at camp,"All of you! To the east shoreline not far from here!"

Ting, The arrow rickishayed (spellinggg) off of Torens hard scales. The large wyvern turned his gaze upon Dorian with a roar. The shining of the silver metals catching his attention he beared his teeth. With a great force he reared up onto his hind legs and drew in breath, preparing to scorch those infont of him.

Sirius took note of Fiacail and decided to be assertive and take lead.
"How about anyone who can get off the island, go do that and get help, at most two people out doing that, and how about the rest try to stop Toren from destroying the island, because it's also some nice ecology."
Sirius looked over to Toren's direction.
"Everyone got that?"

Malakai's heart stopped as he ran back into the clearing just in time to see Toren rear up. He felt his body change almost instantly as he took to the air, soaring high above Toren's head, he could do nothing but watch...

(Agh, sorry for not commenting! My 3ds is having some pretty bad connection problems - I hope I won't have to leave! D:)

Sirius didn't want to leave just yet and instead of heading to safety like others, go towards Toren's direction.
/I need to help my friend!/ He thought to himself.

He knew of whom he should contact. Any mere shred of fear regarding the remainder of his secrets dissipated as he now shifted his focus to saving everyone's lives. He felt responsible, for he had brought them here. No, they had. He and his beloved adopted family. Together. The world about him was vague, his senses almost completely numb as he panicked. He only felt the nimble swiftness as his feet carried him toward the coastline, dragging Adara along after him.

Toren released a blast of blue flames as Dorians arrow struck his face once more. In anger he wheeled around and swung at the trees with his long tail. He then dashed forward towards where the glint of Dorians shiny limbs was catching in the blue light, outraged.

Malakai watched from the safety of the sky as Dorian shot at Toren //Is he crazy?// cocking his head to one side Malakai realized Dorian's limbs sparkled, he watched as Dragon-Toren chased after him. ///That's it!// Malakai glanced around the island floor with his sharp falcon eyes. He noticed something sparkling from Toren's satchel...

As Raven awed at the now-dragonized Toren, fury overwhelmed his senses. //A dragon killed my mother... I spent five years searching for revenge, and now here it is. I will avenge your death, mother. I will slay this beast, even if it takes me down with it.// Forgetting that the dragon was actually one of the survivors and furthermore a friend, Raven readied his spear and charged at Toren, a battle cry tearing itself from his throat.

Sirius ran towards were Toren is aproaching from behind. Maybe by climbing up near his head he could speak to Toren and hopefully calm him down.
He waited for the right moment to do this.

Fiacail waded in the first of the lapping waves bathed in scarce moonlight and came to his senses. He replied,"I'm going to call for some extra assistance. For those whom can't shift into anything that could transport themselves off the island... or those such as yourself who cannot afford her cover to be blown... You entrusted me with your secret, and so I wish for you to be the first to know of mine..." He sloshed his way further out, until... he felt himself reach his full transformation. He surfaced to reassure her that he was still there, albeit as a fully-fledged cetacean.

Malakai's attention snapped back as he heard a battle cry, he saw Raven charging at Toren spear in hand! //Nooo!!// Malakai divebombed at a blinding speed, nailing Raven in the side of the head. Malakai shifted back to human form, ready to stop the stupid arachnid.

Toren was fixated on catching Dorian, the shining limbs drawing his obsesive nature closer. his ear flicked as he heared Ravens angry charge and flicked his tail in his direction, as if swating at a fly, yet with enough force to bring down the nearby trees. Dorians arrows had already brought out Torens wrath, and he was not about to loose sight of him by concentrating on another enemy.

Raven stumbled when a feathery object abruptly slammed into his head. Blinded by rage and annoyance, he slashed his spear in the direction that the assaulting object had landed.

Sirius noticed Dorian getting Toren's atention, and Raven's atempt at attacking him.
"The last thing we need is to pis's him off more!"
He shifted into feral form and ran towards Toren, leaping and changing mid jump to grab on to his back. The problem now was trying to hang on.

Malakai stumbled back as Raven lashed his spear out at him. "Are you stupid!?" he hissed in rage "attacking Toren like that! Do you want to die?" Malakai growled anger consuming his tone.

Sirius kept on clinging on hearing a clink. He screamed out.
"GUYS STOP ATTACKING AND INSTEAD TRY TO CALM HIM DOWN!"

"Get out of my way!" Raven shrieked, his furious eyes burning holes into Malakai as hot wing whipped around them. "I'll kill that monster!" Swiftly, Raven darted to the side, intending to pass by Malakai.

(Raksha: Dude. Stop stealing the dramatic spotlight. XDD)

Fiacail gave a squeak of approval and disappeared briefly beneath the waves. He could speak to a limited extent in this form, but the graveness of the situation at hand prevented him from doing so. The dark indigo hue of the midnight ocean enveloped him, though it strangely felt like home, as usual. He then proceeded in communicating his distress signal:"Mother/Ngaio, they/those whom we rescued are in danger. I ask that the iwi tohora/my family come to their aid immediately. The surface of the isle is being consumed by rage/burning to ash." He spoke in their complex tongue, desperately hoping they would arrive in a timely manner.

Toren Let out an enraged roar, at one moment he felt something land on his back, and in the split moment he was distracted and had lifted his head to see behind, another arrow was fired toward him. A corsing pain shot threw his body as he felt the pressure of the arrow nick the side close to his heart. with a loud screetching roar he missplaced a step and came crashing to the ground flattening the area around him as he gasped for breath and attempted get off of his own wing that was trapped beneith his own weight, holding him down.

"He's not a monster!" Malakai howled, leaping onto Raven's back, he tightly locked his arms around Raven's throat. "Stop this madness!" he hissed in Raven's ears "Toren hasn't done anything wrong!"

Sirius jumped off Toren and aproached ran towards Raven, smacking him on the head.
"STOP. That is our friend! Not just some monster. So instead of acting hostile and probably making the situation worse, HELP ME CALM HIM DOWN!"
(Angry Sirius is angry)

Raven grasped at Malakais arms as he attempted to pull him off. "I said get off!" he howled. Then, rearing back, he allowed himself to topple backwards and squash Malakai beneath his weight.

Malakai felt the wind get knocked out of him as Raven suddenly rolled back ontop of him. "Get out of here Sirius! Go help Toren!" he wheezed from under Raven

Torens eyes opened and he saw the harpy perched on his nose, Toren couldn't speak, but with the little consiousness he had he pleaded out /help me/. while his eyes were fixed upon dorian the rest of him was slowly untangling itself.

Malakai clawed at Raven's back. "Get off me!" he snarled. Drawing in his breath quicker as the heavy arachnid crushed his small frame

Sirius looked over to Dorian, he was trying to call out to Toren as well. He also approached Toren as the large dragon started recovering from the blow.

While Malakai was struggling to regain his breath, Raven tore the shapeshifter's arms away from his throat and rolled onto his feet. His rage suddenly redirected, he rose four of his legs into the air and struck at Malakai, intending to impale him.

Sirius decided to join along in calming Toren, by petting him.

(Raksha: Maybe the song he hums is a melody that Toren knew growing up, and it calms him?)

Fear consumed Malakai as Raven reared back aiming his legs at him! Malakai quickly bounced into a crouch and darted underneight Raven. Standing now on the other side of Raven, Malakai wheezed, his lungs still aching "Is this what you want? To fight?" Malakai felt suprised at how calm his voice sounded.

(Unless KJ misses it because she's probs typing right now XD)

Toren huffed slightly, his breathing was shaky with a slight growl, but the melody he heard was something familiar and distant. Slowly he began to relax his large frame, and was no longer struggling to stand, but instead focused on the song that Dorian hummed. He remained lying on his stomach, just listening. The fire of rage that once consumed him slowly dying out, and with it, what little energy Toren had left from fighting for contol.

(KJ: Woah. O.O *ahem* Ah yes, I knew it all along! Huzzah, huzzah! X'D)

Fiacail resurfaced for air and raised his head from the swells to check on Adara. Though he knew to expect as such he was still rather shocked to find her as he did, in the form of the radiant, graceful legendary bird that almost stole away his next breath as he inhaled stiffly. Rotating his head to make his spyhopping more efficient (this is the term for when cetaceans raise their heads out of the water to check their surroundings) he glanced once more at the distastrous scene behind them and immediately wondered if Raven and the rest were alright and whether there'd be anyone else left to save... His thoughts drifted to Toren. /He is a dragon.../ his mind still failed to comprehend such a fact./ But whatever caused him to go into such an outrage?/ Fiacail shook those ponderings aside as he received a reply: "Do not fear, land-calf. We/the iwi tohora have nearly reached past the half-point and are almost there." This was pleasing enough, though his heart mildly ached as he

could merely pray that they would make it to their location in due time.

Raven gritted his teeth to keep from remarking. //What am I doing?// he realized. //This fight is pointless.//
But as his consciousness returned to him, Raven's eyes flickered to the dragon laying motionless a distance away. Suddenly snapping back into his rage, Raven made a move to get past Malakai. //This is my chance!//

(Raksha: I'm dying of laughter XDDDDD)

//Damn it!// Malakai gritted his teeth, shifting into his wolf form, he barrelled into Raven, pinning him to the ground. //Go on, try something// Malakai flashed his sharp white teeth directly in his face..

Sirius was suprized to see how quickly Toren calmed down.
He faced towards Malakai and Raven to see that Raven was coming towards them in an agresive manner. He pulled out his staff from his pocket. It was a small 4 inches long but as soon as he put pressure on it, the staff extended to full size. He was ready to defend Toren.

"They-are-on-their-way!" He sputtered awkwardly to Adara, though he was uncertain if her transformation would allow her the same vocal liberties.

Toren let out a large sigh his eyes becoming less slit like as he breathed in and out rhythmically. he didn't move, couldn't move. As his consiousness returned he closed eyes, /i hope no one was hurt/ he prayed in scilence, thanking the stars that he could think clearly again, yet cursing his existance for the monster he believed himself to be.

(I now imagine a staff against spear clash between Raven and Sirius.)

Raven's breath was knocked out of him when Malakai, in his wolf form, suddenly slammed him onto the ground. After a moment of recovery, Raven snarled back, "Don't try to stop me! I will kill that vermin if it's the last thing I do!" His arachnidian legs attempted to kick out, but the shapeshifter's heavy wolf form pinned his legs in a curled position. "Don't you know what it's like to want revenge?" he hissed, by now merely guessing that the boy would relate. "Haven't you ever lost somebody you loved? Haven't you ever wanted to avenge their deaths? If your pathetic brain can understand that, then you'll let me have my way!"

(Dangit, that took so long T-T)

Toren was unable to speak in his drahon form, but understood everything clear enough. In a response to Dorians shaky question he let out an exhausted huff. He attempted to lift his head, but was worn from fighting and insyead only managed to flick his ears around to see if he could hear the others, desperate to know if he had hurt someone.

Sirius heard Raven, he approached him and pulling out a canteen splashed his face with cold water. "How about you sush about revenge, when I was little I lost everything I had because of a dwarf, but didn't want revenge, you want to know why?
"Because what's in the past is in the past. Whatever your loss was, Toren is not to blame, or any other monster, no one except the perpetrator is to blame."

Fiacail noticed that the flames had begun to die out back on the island and hoped that everyone was alive. If so, they should be there at the shore soon. According to his adopted mother's imparting the pod's current location, they should arrive in time to take them to... /Now what was the sunken ship's destination?...Ah! That's it! Vale!/ Then another plan entered his mind, and he sent another message:"Mother/Ngaio, one final request. Where is the current location of the next ship due west/the Kingdom of Vale?"

Malakai listened to Raven's words //Of course I've lost someone close// Malakai looked into Raven's eyes //But revenge only brings more hatred// Malakai flicked his ears. Keeping his weight firmly pressed on Raven he glanced towards Toren. //Did Toren hurt him? Or is he just blaming all dragons?// Malakai pondered, shifting his attention back to Raven, he stayed firmly ontop of him.

Toren glanced up at Dorian weakly and gave a sort of grumble. /A mage? so thats why he was so edgy back at the camp./ He thought. Slowly Toren once again attempted to lift his frame off of the wet ground, but to no avail. Shifting when he was in contol was one thing, but shifting out of rage ment that he was in a constant battle for supremasy over his inate nature, and it left his body in terrible condition. The only thing he could do now, was painfuly shift back into his human form and be a dead weight to the others, if they didnt decide to leave him behind for being too great a threat. He begun snapping himself back into his human shape, the creaking of bones making him gowl in pain a bit until he once again collapsed to the ground, his jacket gone (but lets just say his pants change with him) exposing his gemed heart on his chest as he lay in the mud gasping for air.

(Sirius will share his poncho, then Toren could have fun with that magic pocket)

Although Raven wanted to resist, the deep look in Malakai's wolf eyes and Sirius's words made him pause. For a moment, his emotions tossed around restlessly in his head, from sorrowful to angry and vengeful, but he eventually gave in and slumped onto the ground, accepting defeat.

Sirius approached the now normal Toren. He removed his scarf and poncho, revealing his green sweater.
"Here you go Toren, it's good to be covered."
Sirius looked towards Malakai remembering how he was naked before shifting.
"Speaking of getting covered Malakai, go do exactly that."

Torens breathing was heavy and strained. His body ached, and no matter how he willed it, he simply did not have the strength to move. He gritted his teeth slightly. "I . . . " Toren started. "Im so sorry . . ." he said between breaths. "im a monster".

( @Kole# Yeah, that's an awesome idea! :D Heh, I think it'll still be awhile before Fiacail's adorkable crafting skills will be of use.)

Once Malakai was off of him, Raven rolled onto his feet and rose slowly. Now that his hatred had been mostly extinguished, all he felt was emptiness, and he could only blink in confusion when the wolf boy suddenly doubled over in pain.

Sirius talked to Toren.
"Your no monster, it can happen to anyone, it just happens that when you get mad you become a dragon, but anyone could lose controll"

Toren talked to both sirius and Dorian, "i.. i could have killed you. . . all of you." He said quietly as he felt dorian pat his head ". . . just like last time"

Malakai layed in the mud, wheezing and coughing, his body felt like a raging fire was searing him. He cried out in pain as his vision blurred

Sirius decided to go off to shore and take time to relax, he had enough conflict for a day.

Toren closed his eyes and clenched his jaw, remebering the face of the dear old man he once called grandfather fade into black. He took another deep shakey breath. trying too take Dorians words to heart, but unable to shake his past deeds.

As Raven gawked at Malakai, unsure of what to do, he suddenly became aware of the blue fires that were blazing throughout the entire island. "Bad time to become immobile, dwarf," he remarked under his breath. Then, raising his voice, he shouted in Toren and Dorian's direction, "We need to get out of here!"

Suddenly, Fiacail felt the presence of others, and, with unmeasurably great relief he knew his company was that of his family of strap-toothed whales. He could detect great worry in Ngaio's sharp clicks:"land-calf/Fiacail, we came as soon as possible." She paused for a moment, surveying the beach ahead through echolocation, the clicking becoming more frequent. "I do not sense anyone/your friends upon this shore. Where are they?" He could see her clearly now, for she had propelled herself nearer, dim ripples dancing on her beautifully-marked skin, her compassionate eye gazing into his own.

Sirius noticed Adara.
"Hey there phoenix girl, you looked rad, it was about time you showed what you were. Your feather hair told me you were a shapeshifter but I never guessed a phoenix."

Toren was reluctant to reach for the hand that Dorian offered, he didnt want anyone to get to close for fear of hurting them, but with little other choice, seeing as he was weakened, he grabed it anyways. slowly and very shakily getting to his weary feet.

How was he to explain? He knew not if, save for Adara, any of the rest of the survivors were still breathing. Though surely... "They/the others shall come soon." He told her, trying to have done so reassuringly. But he felt her pick up on the doubtful edge to his tone.

Sirius sighed.
"So Toren was calmed down with petting and humming by Dorian, Raven tried to fight Toren but was stopped by Malakai and I told him revenge is dumb or whatever, and now Kai is blacked out naked, and Toren is shirtless, but I gave him my poncho to hide his gem, any more questions?"
Sirius decided to sit down on the sand and juggle his eyes while he waited for others to recover.
(You gotta admit, it's impressive he can juggle while blind)

Feeling awkward to be helping the one whom he had nearly killed moments earlier, Raven extended a hand to Malakai. "Come on, we gotta get a move on."

Malakai shakily grabbed Raven's hand, he thought for sure the spider would leave him to die, since all they did was fight..

"Kai will probably get carried by Raven and Dorian will probably carry Toren.
"Hopefully they show some modesty when they come back."

Toren shook slightly, he was a bit too proud to and normally strong to need help standing, but an attempt to take a single step sent him stumbling almost to the ground, "maybe i will need a bit of support. . ." Toren said weakly, proping an arm on dorians shoulder.

As Malakai stood up with Raven's help, his head & body pounded, like someone beat him with a sledgehammer.

Raven heaved Malakai onto his feet, but kept a hand grasped around the boy's arm in case he collapsed again. He couldn't support his shoulder, since he was simply too tall to do so. Slowly, he led Malakai away from the raging forest.

Sirius stopped juggling, catching his eyes with his sockets. He got up and followed Adara.
"They better not lose my poncho and scarf." he said to himself.

He noticed that her expression was now blank, and she drifted almost motionlessly aside from using her flippers for balance. She was scanning the beach again. "There is a female...A friend/of yours?" She had found Adara! Fiacail almost felt himself blush, though the intense burning sensation of embarrassment lingered in his whale form. Even more so. "Erm,yes/correct...Do you mind if I go ashore, Mother/Ngaio? I will provide as an interpreter/translator among you and my friends/the survivors..." An amused buzz served as his approval. Fiacail then veered around and pumped his flukes, then lunged onto the gritty sand once he was close enough to the beach, reverting, at least, to his anthro form. He worked to steady himself.

Torens head was hazy, and all he could do was concentrate on each painful step while relying on Dorian to guide him through the burning jungle, his thoughts went to his satchel and sword, and he hoped someone was able to grab them, for the artifact was still inside. he clutched at the green poncho Sirius had left with him to hide his gem, but remained too weak to put it on as they approached the shoreline.

"M-Miss Adara!" He shouted as he noticed her figure approaching him. "Is everyone well?"

Malakai put most of his weight on Raven as the arachnid helped him back to camp. Malakai could sense the flames burning the forest around them. A wheezing sound escaped his throat as he wondered how they'd get off the island...

(KJ: Has Toren's chest wound remained during his transformation back to a human? Just wondering)

"Wait" he coughed as he noticed Toren's sword & satchel. Malakai released his grip and fell to the ground, crawling, he made his way over to Toren's belongings.

Sirius spoke. "Yes, just exhaustion due to transformation, I'm going to go find Malakai's clothes."
Sirius then walked off following Malakai's scent. Eventually he found the items and headed back to shore.
(Where is the satchel anyways?)

(Malakai's got it, I'm just going Toren threw it with his sword when he fought idk..)

( @Fade, he has a small scratch right next to his heart (im just gona say heart as i assume everyone knows im talking about the gem) that the arrow left behind, it might need a bit of treatment because its so close to his heart, and any cracks/infections might be dangerous, but its nothing too major)

"Hello Fiacail, I found Malakai's clothes, hopefully he'll have the energy to put them on upon arrival.

Toren was far too out of it to notice fiacails new form and the change from earth to sand made each step strain more as they approached the others.
(toren took off his sword and satchel when the fight began with the pig man, i assume its just in the forest close to camp.)

/Oh, of all whom could have been the lone survivor of that ordeal...why possibly him?/ he pouted silently. Then he halted his negative thoughts. At the very least, someone was alive!
"I will return shortly/in a moment," he sent to Ngaio. He could still telepathically communicate with cetaceans even in his human transformation. He made his way to where Adara sat with the coyote hybrid.

Raven paused when Malakai suddenly tore away from him to crawl back towards the blazing treeline. "Where are you going?" he shouted in exasperation and impatience.

Then, he realized they weren't alone. He noticed the familiar form of Toren limping along the beach, accompanied by Dorian, Malakai, and Raven... They were all miraculously still standing!

(My DS is actually dying so just imagine Sirius lying down in the sand and relaxing for the remainder of the rp.)

*standing upright!
"It is a comfort to know you're all in one piece!" He called out.

"Grabbing Toren's stuff" his voice sore. Malakai threw Toren's satchel around him, briefly catching a glimpse of something shiny. Dismissing it, he grabbed Toren's sword, "Whoa this is heavy!" he wheezed, crouching he dragged the sword in the mud, Malakai made his way back to Raven. Slowly and painfully.

Toren was weak, and let his head hang as braced himelf against dorian, a slight bit of blood near the gem in his chest, he lowered sirius's poncho to expose the gem, there was no real point in hiding it any longer, he had already announced his presance when he set the forest ablaze. In his exaustion he fell to his knees bracing his hands on the sand.

With an exasperated sigh, Raven approached Malakai, took the sword from him, and slung the blade's strap over his shoulder. //Seriously, it's like I'm babysitting him,// he thought to himself as he pulled Malakai to his feet again. "Couldn't you have just asked me to go get these instead of trying to do so in your current state? What's with you and running off alone?"

(I'll check them! Haha I normally keep my phone open t the page so I can refresh it easier to stay on top of comments and keep stuff organized haha)

Malakai felt relieved when Raven took the sword, as he gripped Raven's arm again his cheeks heated with embarrasment as he confessed "I spent the past 7 years all alone, I'm not use to relying on others"

(Well Toren could still use the poncho to hide the gem from those who don't now, until he gets a new jacket at least, good thing Sirius's poncho has a infinite pocket, he can store extra sets of clothing, lol)

A wave of alert coursed through Fiacail as he witnessed Toren collapse and recalled how exhausted and possibly injured he must be. He watched as Adara gingerly tended to the dragon shapeshifter's wounds. "I devised a way for everyone to make it off the island..." he announced, though softly as not to cause Toren any further distress.

(Sirius has been alone for more than a decade and he has managed, he's independent but still appreciates help from people)

"I've spent half my life alone," Raven replied as he led Malakai back to camp. "I'm not used to helping others."

(Get rekt guys Sirius has been alone for more than a decade, left homeless and orphaned since he was like, 6,

"Uh, well I'd say you're pretty good at helping now" Malakai grinned playfully, before breaking into another fit of coughing. //Will today ever end?// he sighed.

Toren lay on his back in the cold sand, the exhastion mking him unable to move, and his voice almost gone now, sleep seemed like such a comfort, but he managed to stay awak a few moments more.

( @pedro: Normally, you wouldn't brag about the disconcerting state that you are in 'XD)

(Torens only been orphaned for like 4 or 5 years? after he killed his adopted family and destroyed his home village . . .)

(Sirius befriended like, all the little kids in Escade, a teenage coyote is everybody's favorite babysitter
other jobs he did included farming, cooking, door to door salesman, advertising a place by spinning a sign, and much more)
