Arin Reference by SharkHazard
Arin was a noble and in line to take command of the Argent pack once his father passed. But after being bitten by an Infect, his father disowned him and made him leave the pack. It was later discovered that Arin is mostly immune to the effects of the infection. He still shows some physical signs of being infected (the lines under his eyes) and he fatigues very easily. He also carries the disease and is able to transmit it through a bite like any normal Infect.

After being run out of his home, Arin happened to cross paths with an infection combat unit that was passing by. Seeing Arin on the verge of collapsing after running many miles, the group decided to take him back to their camp. Arin explained to the leader that he was run out of his previous home. And despite being bitten, showed almost no signs of becoming an Infect.
So Zorin, the leader, offered to let him train to fight the Infects. This way they could monitor his condition and 'take care' of him if he showed any signs of turning.
So Arin trained and eventually became a member of The 27th Combat Team. He was given dragonscale daggers (as per the standard) and a proper uniform.
Normal metal weapons proved to have no lasting effects against the Infects due to their abnormal healing abilities. But it was found that weapons forged from dragon scales prevented their regenerative abilities from working and made it easier to take them down.

Arin is also weak to dragonscale weapons and has to be extremely careful when handling them.
Arin's familiar, Reinhart, is a spirit that has been in the Argent pack for generations. He decided to go with Arin when he was banished because in his eyes, Arin is the rightful heir to the Argent pack. Reinhart isn't very strong, but he tries to help Arin in any way he can. Being a spirit, he can also take on the forms of other small animals (like birds and mice).
