"I know not to pay the chilling rumors any heed, that nothing will happen, but you must understand what it's like to be sensitive to others' sentiments, especially when those of almost all your peers are frightened. I am not taking advantage of anything, I just can't deal with it constantly all at once. " I'm sorry. I usually can cope just fine with personal dilemmas enough to avoid posting vent art, but I've been experiencing emotional trauma throughout the week as far as school is concerned.
The Colors! Gallery moderators will look at it as soon as possible.

I just wish that those who are supposed to understand and help me in school would listen... I'm not defiant... I don't avoid things intentionally... I just want to be calm, and I'll feel safe once I know I'm understood. High-functioning autism differs from person to person...we're individuals... We just want to be treated as to what it is we are...Human.

But they also pay no attention to my personal limits and say that I'm being defiant, and, since they "know I'm intelligent," they misconceive that I am taking advantage of them, and refuse to treat me differently than the rest of their students...

Once again, I apologize for venting. XC It's just been a hectic week for me.

And don't worry. <: ) I'll be fine. I always have been. I am currently working on Amaulriq's ref for #AmaurisPod. Coincedentally, it was through doodling him and experimenting with the markings on his right side that helped me collect myself the first day. : )

aa no don't be sorry for venting :c venting is good for you, whether it's through talking, drawing, etc. I'm sure you know that already, though. but really I hope things get better for you irl '^'/

Thank you, AlphaGlitch! ^-^ Yeah, I'm starting to find that venting really is a good way of letting go of your negative emotions. I don't turn to it often, as I try to remain as much of an optimist as possible, but even for me there are limits. C: >

Oh no you are not happy is there anything i can do?
29 Apr, 2016, 12:28 am
(OoGravityPhoenixxX) Other than including me in your thoughts and/or prayers, not much more than that. I'll be okay. ^-^ Thank you for your concern.

Thank you so much, you two! < :'D (Monomo) Thank you! ^-^ I'm honestly flattered. CX It's just that it's already affected some of my grades. I just hope it won't put my graduating high school in jeopardy in the long run... Perhaps that last sentence was a bit exaggerated. x3 But on a much brighter note, I'm so happy I got to speak with the school social worker, whom immediately took interest in me and was shocked when I told him I was an aspie after having a rather sophisticated conversation. He instantly wanted to learn more and said pretty much the same things you did. So I'm sure things'll work out.

Aah! CX I feel so blessed and grateful to have all these wonderful, amazing people to cheer me up and make my day a bit brighter!

(Lumyna) Yep, I agree as far as the ranting goes. :3 I just happen to have a tendency to never give up on people, no matter who they are. I'll keep praying that they'll turn themselves around, though till then I'll cherish all the lovely friends and family I currently have as well. ^-^

The best people always have our quirks and limitations. Geniuses always seem to have an eccentric side
29 Apr, 2016, 9:19 pm
Yeah, that I've noticed... CX I mean, many of the most intelligent, genius people in history (especially those in the Renassiance era) likely had some 'disorders', and it was probably only through such so-called impairments that they became geniuses in the first place.

Yep. Most don't understand us
