Teen Titans

I recently finished re-watching the entire original Teen Titans series with my sister (I wanted to show her how much better it was than Teen Titans Go). I was actually surprised at how much I enjoyed it compared to when I saw it as a kid. By the end of it, my sister and I agreed the best character on the team was Raven. She's normally a very gloomy character, yet she finds several interesting ways to express herself, from her sarcastic quips to the cartoony reactions the show was known for. More importantly, she also gets some of the best development of any of the characters, especially in season 4.

I also feel like I should bring up the Go! incarnation of the character, as it is one of the few aspects of that show I actually like. What makes that version enjoyable is how her attitude contrasts with the comedic nature of the show. To me, it is kinda funny seeing such a dark character doing wacky, unpredictable things with the rest of the cast, and the relationship with her father in that show is just gold! I don't feel like I need to like every incarnation of a character for them to make this list (I've never read the comics, for example), but I can definitely say these two versions of Raven are enjoyable in their own way.
